Excellent food, even at 2pm when we were the only people here for 15+ minutes. The Rangoon is the same as Hong's Buffet (excellent) and our waitress has also been seen there. The service was impecable. Nice and clean, good food options on the buffet, and very friendly staff. Buffet features BBQ ribs, great Lo Mein, stuffed mushrooms, and a good dessert bar with pre-portioned ice cream. Pepsi products for drinks. Saturday lunch cost $8.04ea with $1.50ea sodas. 2 people for $19.08. We will be back!

We have come here often and always really liked it. I'm not sure what changed in the kitchen recently but suddenly all the food tasted perfect in our last order.

we order carryout often, and the food is always great. the portions are generous and the veggies taste so fresh! the service is also fantastic; the staff is fast, kind, and friendly.

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a little girl and their food has been consistent ever since. The buffet has a great variety of options and the presentation is great.

The staff is bar none the kindest and most inviting people. The chef here always has a smile on his face and will get to know everyone he can and will remember your name! Absolutely love this little restaurant. Highly recommend you try them out!

fave chinese joint in town.. wouldn't advise trying the buffet, i suspect they reheat food from the previous day to stay profitable with that, or at least thats definitely what it tasted like. take out is always hot and fresh though. 🔥

I have never had Chinese food that is as delicious as this place. The chef cooks everything to perfection. They have an all you can eat food bar form 11 to 3 daily. Fantastic food

We had their lunch buffet, and it was all really good, and a very reasonable price!!

Westlake is great!!! Every time I come home I have to eat there no matter what you order it'll be ready in 20 minutes!

We are so fortunate to have Westlake Chinese in Smithville. Their food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. We love the buffet which they just reopened. Yippee! Help us keep them in Smithville - eat there often, like we do!

Their food is authentic. The orange chicken has actual peppers and orange peels in it. Everything tastes so fresh. It's delicious every time.

My husband and I have been coming here for many years. Food has always been great and the owners very nice. Great tasting Chinese food.

Northland City Managers have been meeting at West Lake Chinese for many years and we enjoy their Buffet for Noon time luncheons--the food is consistently good and the service is excellent. They are very accommodating, and we like the ice cream machine. Smithville definitely has a jewel here.

I’ve ordered lunch to go several times and it is fast, convenient and delicious! Their lunch specials can’t be beat for choices and taste! 🙌🏼

Great place to eat good food and very good service and the owner is a very nice man. Me and my buddies eat here just about every weekend and I have no complaints.

Food was good ever since I've been going here never had a problem with them good-sized Buffet very very reasonable I'd suggest try it
