Mr. Ed's Drive In

Ever since I went to Bennett Springs in March, I've been wanting to go here. Today, my dream came true and I expected good food. My expectations were right, and it looked and tasted great. The burger tasted like Strate's, and the Onion rings were good as well. People going to or leaving Bennett Springs, stop here. It's worth it.

Yummy bacon cheeseburger, fish sandwich, crispy onion rings, and delicious chocolate malt! Great stop on the side of the road with lots of parking and friendly service. Fish sandwich was similar to a McDonald's sandwich. Burgers were small but very tasty! Onion rings were perfectly done!

Mr. Ed's Drive-In has been around for decades. The food is still as good as it was 50 years ago, and the service is just as outstanding. The only thing that's managed to change is the price. The people are still great; it's still in the middle of nowhere, and it's a slice of heaven when you don't have anything else around. They offer the typical drive-in type menu: malt shakes, burgers, chili dogs. I had a footlong chili dog loaded with toppings and the onion rings, and they were spot on—delicious! I highly recommend it, and if you don't find yourself driving by, it's well worth the extended drive to get there because it is just amazing. It's like a place where you want to hang out with your friends when you were kids, and then when you're adults, it's just the place to be. It's the best little roadside walk-through food shop with about four bench seats and a parking lot that'll hold half the town that you'll ever come across."

My family is on a road trip, and decided to stop in for lunch after seeing the sign. The decor is super cute, and the food was exactly what we were hoping for. We all got burgers and fries, and were not disappointed! My mom got a coney dog as well, which she raved about. It doesn't say anywhere inside, but they sell shirts, so we had to get one. Definitely worth the stop, and I'd love to come again if I'm in this area.

What a great little hamburger shop makes you think of the old days.... But you can get it to go, eat it there from a nice selection of sandwiches and ice cream.
Go ahead and get the fried cheese or mushrooms.
I had the cheeseburger and it was great.

I wish Mr Ed's was in Springfield Mo. I drive over an hour to get the Italian steak n pineapple shake. The best. Two thumbs up and a 10 rating out of 0-10. Yummy 😋

This is one of those stops that has become a tradition in my family. We go to the lake every summer & boat, camp, fish, etc. Mr. Ed's is a delicious treat after being at the lake all day. If you're hungry, their food is quite tasty. But typically, we stop for the ice cream! The small cone is actually quite a big serving. They are not greedy with their servings at all. My family orders cones usually, but I love their shakes! Today, my daughter ordered the Java Cooler & I got to try it. Mmm, it's all so delicious! Don't pass by their tiny little building. A lot of great food & treats are served here. Also, you can order at an outside window or indoors & sit outside at their cute little tables overlooking a pasture, or you can eat indoors in the AC. Whatever you do, give Mr. Ed's a try. It may become a traditional stop for your family as well.

We really enjoyed eating here. Food was very good, everyone friendly, not a long wait for our food. Can't wait to go back.

The food was delicious, fresh, and well portioned, the prices were fair, and they nailed the old school atmosphere! Our family loves eating there.

Must try curly fried crispy and right amount of salt perfect. Enjoyed shakes and burgers they were fresh. Establishment is traditional burger car hop food located out in middle of no where surrounded by fields and cows. I will be visiting again on my next trip to Urbana for buffalo mo.

In cleabration of 5th annual pick n up paradise. In honor of Charles skeet sousley 09-092022. Love and miss. Camel rides petting goats and mini pony. Cart and horse rides. Awesome day. Open weekends weather permitted.

I've been going there for years, the food is made fast, priced great, and taste even better, you should go, you won't regret it 😀

Took my granddaughter to lunch there for her birthday. It's becoming a tradition. She says it's the best place to eat.

Awesome place to stop and grab a burger or hotdog with fries and a milkshake. Outside seating if you have a dog with you too!

I’m a sucker for small town drive ins. The food here was absolutely amazing!!! I got a Bacon cheeseburger w/ SQs and a limeade. The burger was pure perfection!! It was so juicy but it was so crispy. The fries were absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend
