Red Wing - Bismarck, ND

Two staff members were present. I had been served by Troy the day before. Today he went out of his way to make a difference. He stayed with me even though it was his day off and he had a very important family engagement to attend to. Both men demonstrated knowledge and skill in attending to customer needs. While I was present in the store, I witnessed several other customers being served with the same care as I received. This store is 8 hours from my home! Together, they make me want to return just to experience their personal warmth, customer-centered kindness, and skill.

The Bismarck Store is fantastic.
Always pleasant, always great customer service!
Had a pair of boots that were purchased and were the wrong size.
Circumstances made it so we could not get to the store to exchange within the 30 days.
They took care of us, did the exchange for us.

*Do not recommend the Minot ND Store. Have had questionable to bad customer service there.

Great place to get good quality shoes. After vigorous searching it's the only place now that doesn't have plastic bottoms on their shoes and are not made from a few cheap layers of fabric. I did get different insoles for the shoes at time of purchase and they still feel great! My shoes have lasted 3 yrs so far! There's a few things in life you don't buy cheap one is a bed and the other is shoes. While sometimes the price is a bit steep, you pay for the quality and longevity. Definitely recommend!

I went in just expecting a shoe store but the experience was so much more. I never expected them to map the pressure points on my feet and even go in depth about socks and insoles. I left with a great pair of boots and insoles and will be returning for all work boot purchases in the future.

I thought for a moment that Worx Boots were something that were readily available at Walmart, wrong I was. That's TreadSafe brand.

The boots that I purchased fulfilled the needs I have and I am still learning to use them in a way to maximize comfort.

The knowledgeable staff helped me realize the need for arch support which I took the opportunity to equip my everyday sneakers with even though I did not buy redwing.

If I had it to do over again, I would prefer to buy redwing brand for the higher price point but I am on an extremely limited income currently so worx, worx for now.

I started purchasing foot wear for work back in 2010 and I continue to purchase from these guys over and over again not only for their great products, but also for their friendly, knowledgeable customer service! Absolutely fantastic customer service. I walked into the store and was greeted within several seconds by a gentleman named Troy. He listed to what I was looking for and took about 45 minutes total helping me try on different shoes, inserts and socks. He did this all while helping other customers at the same time. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for a personalized boot-store visit!

Every three years I come here to get new work boots. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Troy is always helpful and knowledgeable! They will also clean your boots and replace your laces for free, which is a great service I do not take enough advantage of.

Customer-employee relations is a big plus in any business, and these guys nail it on the head. They made sure to check on my size down to the T before coming up with a proper size. While checking on tour test-walk, they make sure to adjust for arch as many times as needed before finding the proper fit. This establishment was extremely professional andfriendly, so I'd recommend them for anyone next pair of boots.

I walked away very impressed with Red Wing’s customer service, specifically from Nick who helped me through my process of selecting some hiking boots. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and easy going. Probably some of the best customer service I have experienced anywhere.

Have had the pleasure of working with Kari and Troy and really enjoy buying my boots from this store. If you have lived long enough to recognize how important good footwear is to your productive day than this is the place for you.

Bought what is called their TAC boot. Just love 'em. Sales guy worked with me over an hour to be sure I got exactly what I needed. Very knowledgeable. He fit me with a memoryfoam insert that brought the comfort from very good to phenomenal. Only had them for a month now, but if like other footwear I've bought there in the past, I suspect it will be at least 2-3 years before I need to visit them again. Not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. Totally satisfied.

Clark helped me again today, they already had my size and boots ready. I'll definitely be back again next year for my next pair... I wear my boots for almost 18 hours a day and would never go back to the cheap ones I used to buy. You get what you pay for with red wing boots.

The staff at the Bismarck Red Wing store is 2nd to none. Always very helpful and and met with a warm welcome when entering the store. I go there for American made shoes, boots etc. I highly recommend them and their products.

I don't visit this shop but once a decade, and that's because my Red Wing boots last so long! I beat the hell out of my shoes and don't take care of them as well as I should, yet they loyally stay with me despite the abusive relationship.

As to this specific shop in downtown Bismarck, the staff I interacted with were professional, courteous, and friendly. My wife and I were so impressed with them, she opted to get her work shoes here instead of at a big box store like she usually does. We were also impressed with the wireless foot-scanning platform that the sales manager had us step onto; the resulting scan seemed more detailed than those at Scheel's with a heat map image showing pressure points, my over-pronation, her tendency to carry her weight disproportionately on her heels, and so on. The display screen provided a recommended insert for our shoes which we both found to be perfect. I think we may return to use this again for inserts in our non-Red Wing shoes too, that’s how pleased we are.

We learned, too, that this specific Red Wing store also offers shoe and boot repair. I might have to bring my old work boots in to see if they can be salvaged. Maybe I’ll get another 13 years out of them?

Their prices are a little high, but that’s standard fare for the Red Wing brand. You’re paying for handcrafted quality, made in the USA (Minnesota if I’m not mistaken?). I can attest that these boots and shoes will last a decade or more even with hard use. I couldn’t be happier with the product and service, really.
