Friendly and helpful physicians. Be aware that they are one of the few remaining clinics which refuse to do business via email, only accepting/sending out paperwork via fax or snail mail. I was alerted to that fact repeatedly and quite forcefully by the desk staff.

Why does it take hours to do a urinalysis? Everytime I come here I expect to wait a minimum of 2 hours. Have a workers comp injury you can just forget it I sat in there for four hours and they had forgotten about me and said they forgot to submit my paperwork real nice of them.

I went in there Feb, 17,2020. I had gotten hurt at work a few months prior however re-injured the area that was injured in the first place. I also work as a D.S.P so I am doing a lot of lifting and bending and I work with individuals that have Physically aggressive behaviors. I went in to see Dr. Leslie and while she was talking to me she had said that I should not be lifting more than 5 LBS, I shouldn't lift anything over my shoulders and should avoid working with individuals that have aggressive behaviors. Those are the restrictions that she told me. Then I went out to pick up my paper work and I was handed a paper stating the accident I had months before and that I wasn't given any restrictions. When I asked to see the doc again they said she was in the middle of giving someone stitches and I said I would wait the nurse said she spoke with her personally and that I was a liar. I left there in tears after bringing all 3 of my children up there and have a hurt shoulder. While getting my children in the car I saw the doctor and the nurse walk out of the building and get in the car. The doc locked eyes with me and started laughing. she jumped in to the car and they drove off. I have never felt so disrespected and dehumanized in my entire life. Especially by a doctor. I'm going to give them one star only because 0 isn't an option. I will never return to see them again.

Emily Stevenson lacks any basic integrity. She should lose her medical license or be suspended pending ethics training. She literally left me a voicemail saying she was unqualified to make a determination on my condition due to me needing to see a specialist after writing a letter to the WSI saying the exact opposite. She still to this day says to me what she said on the voicemail. Now, I understand mistakes happen. Humans error. Maybe WSI wasn't clear. No problem. She can call them up or send an email and fix the issue. We all move on with our lives. Or she can tell me she was in fact qualified and made a mistake in the voicemail. Either one works. But does she resolve this? Nope. I don't know if she is afraid to admit a mistake to WSI, who she works with all day or what. But she is either lying/mistaken to me or lying/mistaken to them. It has to be one of those two options. She can pick. I don't care at this point which one she picks, just has to pick one so I can move to the next step of coverage options. I am filing an ethics complaint with the state and I highly recommend you ask for a different doctor if you go here. Telling a patient one thing and an insurance company another while refusing to correct either record is not okay. It should be a crime if it is not already.
UPDATE: My lawyer just filed civil suit against her and Sanford occ for damages. OSHA allows you to go to any doctor you choose regardless of what anyone else tells you. Avoid this place. Every lawyer in the state that handles these cases knew exactly what was going on the moment I called them. This is not an isolated incident.
