Sladek Do it Best Hardware

Went in looking for a fitting to my fridges water valve. The employees were quick to help me and got me the exact right part needed to fix my fridge properly along with also telling me how to put the fitting together properly to avoid a leak. Fantastic employees and wonderful business.

You get a welcoming feeling coming in through the doors and you’ll always be greeted by Ken or one of his colleagues. The fact that Ken always takes the time to help you find what you need and even gives you ideas to help is exactly why I continue and always will continue to bring them my business as well as recommend as many people to their business as I can. They always have what I needed at reasonable prices and idk if it was the manager or the owner, all I remember about him was his iPhone had twitter notifications like every 5 seconds which was kinda funny lol. He was extremely helpful though. He stands at the front door and helps people as soon as they come in the door. A huge 180 from big box hardware stores where I can never find an employee.

Never have problems here. Everyone is cheerful and happy to help in any way possible. If there is anything you need or searching for something you're just not sure where to find, they will help you with it.
They have popcorn 🍿 if you have the munchies.
They are always well stocked. Clear, clean shelves with great labeling make it easy to find what you are looking for.
They seem to have just about everything. If you've never been, you would be surprised at what you may find.
Overall, Very Clean store. Fast, Friendly and Courteous Staff. Shelves Clean, Labeled and Stocked. Parking Lot Clean as well.

Much better than going to big box stores. Almost always someone available to help. The items might be a lil bit more than the big boxes but the service is so much better

Very friendly and courteous staff. Met me at the door took me straight to the item I needed. In and out with a smile all the way through. Every time I need an odd but simple item and they are out at other hardware stores, I can count on Sladeks to have what I need in stock and comparable prices. Great Great service. Don’t know why I ever go elsewhere.

I love this place. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Great prices and selection. I've been In there on crutches and the staff refused to let me carry out my purchases. Shows they are a caring part of the community and that is hard to find these days

Let me just say this , no one in the state is more friendly and knowledgeable and stock parts like they do here. They stand behind every sell they make even if its been 2 years ago ,, They are quick to fix things ( Weed eaters , Blowers etc....when they can . They are very very fair with there business practices here , I wont deal with anyone else. They are the best
Not to mention they have the best blade sharpener in the region.
Wonderful folks here to do business with . The place has a down home feeling as soon as you hit the door. Love it!!!!! I would rate this business a 10 star if they let me. Remember though they deal with stihl weed eaters , blowers etc when I'm talking fixing things , they are the best.

Awesome staff! They are my go to when I need a special bolt or something off the wall. They carry different thread pitches and lengths than about anywhere else and the staff are well trained to help find what you need. Support your local store!

Prices are good but the real reason to go to Sladek instead of another hardware store is the people. One of the last hardware stores you can find with knowledgeable employees and good customer service. I can't recommend enough.

I needed a specific plumbing part. Mike helped me quickly and found the right part so that I could fix a very annoying leak. Thank you so much! You guys are the best.

I typically walk into this store knowing exactly what I need, so I'm annoyed that there's someone right by the door eager to "help" me when I don't need it. Today, I needed it though and I was thrilled it was there. I walked in, got what I needed a lot quicker than I would have otherwise, and walked out actually excited to have what I needed to be able to do the job myself!

Don and the gang here are simply the BEST . Don't take your business to a big box store. Keep you money in a family owned and operated store.

I'm not sure why anyone would have a problem with this place. They've got quite a bit of product. There's no shortage of staff to help if you need it. (You're more than likely to get asked if you need help before you have to ask yourself) The prices are decent and at least for myself the trip was pretty easy/pleasant. Try this place out. If you don't care for it then there are plenty of other places to go.

I went in for some parts to repair my daughters brake on her scooter. Jim asked if I needed help & I brought the scooter in & he found what I needed but asked me if I had the tools to complete the repair, I said no & he put the parts on & repaired the brake. His job, so to speak, is to get me the parts I needed but he went above & beyond when he did the compete repair. These days it's not very common to find customer service that excels & goes above & beyond the regular line of duty. Jim repaired my daughters scooter like it was for his own child & seemed sincerely happy to do it. I can't say enough how much that meant to me. Awesome experience.

Awesome little hardware shop with a surprising amount of inventory packed inside! Very attentive and friendly staff. Was approached more than once during my visit here and asked if I needed help. I recently moved to the area and this will become my go-to hardware store.

Best customer service I've ever gotten at a hardware store! As soon as I walked in, an employee asked me what I needed and took me directly to everything on my list. This store is small, but has everything you'd need for most home improvement projects.

This was my first time here and I was completely surprised by the service! I’m not use to GREAT customer service. That’s what I received today from Ken. The amount of time and energy he spent for a .38 cent washer totally blew me away. I will go out of my way to come back here. I promise, you will not find better customer service anywhere else!
