My husband and I took a beginners class tonight with David as our instructor. It was so fun! David was awesome and so helpful. If I messed up, I could keep trying till I got it! Definitely recommend!!

Had the best time! David is so talented, patient, a great teacher, & hilarious. Definitely the best pottery classes in the area and so much fun!

Took a sample class last night. David was our instructor & was so nice, engaging & patient. I have never tried pottery before & found it quite fun! Highly recommend 323 Clay.

I started with a "sample" class in August. If you're like me, it's a great place to "get your hands dirty" and try it out without a huge investment.

I then signed up for a full month of classes in October. Other than my sample class, I had never taken a pottery class and really have very little aptitude for fine arts or crafting. My work is poor, but the instructors are wonderful. I've had classes taught by David, Johnnie, and Michael. Each have taught me something new and a different way to approach pottery. All three are encouraging and patient.

I love the community we have during the classes. I'm very appreciative of the patience I'm learning. For me it is about learning something new, being in the moment, and meeting new people. Although there are (what I'd consider) accomplished artists in my class, everyone is friendly, willing to share, encouraging, and all help me on my path. What more could a novice hope for?

What a fun place for first time potters and experienced artisans! The energy, creativity, support is tremendous. Owner David and manager Bekah are a delight to work with. All the instructors are professional, friendly, skilled, passionate, and patient.

We did a class for our 9th anniversary. Our instructor was the proprietor. He performed a demo for us and then set us loose. I've gotta say, this was such a great experience! He took the time to help us get started and continued to be available as we worked through our first few pieces. He was super personable and we ordered a pizza and hung out during class. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Had my wife's birthday party at 323Clay. It was incredible!! Far exceeded our expectations. Our host and teacher Brian Morgenlander killed it. Perfect balance of helpful instruction and tons of freedom - loved interacting with him. It was a blast. We were able to bring in food and drink which added a nice touch to the party. I think we even made some pottery pieces that are worth keeping!!

My gf took me for my birthday. The teacher/ owner David was so kind to us three. We went to the Thursday night try out class. We each made three pieces. We can’t wait to go back after they are fired and paint them. We laughed and felt creative. One of my best birthdays.

David is a great teacher. He was very patient with all of us and had to help some of us do the same thing over and over. I had a great time and I think everybody else in the class did as well.

Took a sample class and had a great time!! Failed then failed some more but got several pieces by the end of the class. Very much worth the price of the class! If you’re thinking of it you should definitely go!!

We did have a late start getting into the party but the birthday girl said it was a birth best birthday she ever had this is an awesome place to have a birthday party and I’ll probably be going there on a regular basis to learn pottery I was very very impressed they were very professional and they can teach anybody asked to see if you don’t know anything about pottery it was a wonderful time we had

323 is a wonderful ceramics studio in Independence, MO. We have an great group of ceramic artists working here and we are welcoming to new studio members. Come by for a tour, to check out a class or to rent a studio.

Took the beginner class, well taught with personal instruction when needed. Great value and an awesome way to spend an evening.

Great place to work in clay. Options of firing cone 6-10 gas or electric. Fun people lots of knowledge and all are helpful
