Had the breakfast burrito and could only finish half! It came with sourcream and salsa and was delicious and filling. Penny let me know I could get a breakfast quesadilla too even though it wasn't on the menu. I will definitely be back! I'm a self-proclaimed soup Aficionado and tomorrow us Corn Chowder...yum.

What a great spot … worth the search. The Carmel Roll wasn’t one of the best — IT WAS THE BEST Carmel Roll I’ve ever had. Just that is worth the visit, but bagel sandwich was very good. Bacon and egg were great — and the scratch everything bagel held up to it. Support them and see them grown…I’d love to try the soup sometime. Thanking my daughter Phoebe for the recommendation.

I had a fantastic bacon cheeseburger! Thick juicy patty, and the buns were delicious! Staff brought out the food in only a few minutes. Will definitely stop again for lunch.

Best kept secret in downtown Bismarck. Had the Borscht soup yesterday- it was fantastic. We also ordered caramel rolls for our Saturday meeting- they are amazing! Great group of people who work there- they are friendly and make delicious food!! You need to try it out! Lunches are very reasonably priced.

Why are you guys hidden in the back?? This is the best place ever for eats! Good food, good service, and good atmosphere overall! Went here after my ear piercing with my mother! Everything here is HOMEMADE!!! best Knoephla ever as well!!

Food is always good. Staff is friendly and always up for a quick chat if not busy. My favorites are the cookies and the baked potato soup!

Excellent bakery. We get Carmel rolls and buns made for Thanksgiving. Outstanding quality.

So, good, good price all homemade. German food on Fridays

One of my favorite places! If you want great German food, this is the place for you. I’ve also loved every single pastry I’ve eaten here. The bagels are top tier, best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend By the Batch to everyone! You will not be disappointed. The caramel rolls are as big as your face and covered with ooey gooey caramel. The lemon bars are seriously so amazing.

Omelet and breakfast quesadilla were excellent! Everything is made in house! Chef and staff were so sweet and attentive.

I honestly feel sorry for the people who were too impatient, that rated this place less than 5 stars. They have no idea how quality everything is compared to everywhere else you go nowadays. The breakfast sandwich I had was the best one I ever had in my life. Definitely recommend this spot to go to.

This place used to be white house cafeteria I didn't know the name change until I went behind the till to order like before and was told to go back up front behind the till. That's when I heard the current name By the batch which didn't register with me because I called minutes earlier and asked a few questions like if we could get a extra scoop of the special? The lady said we'll see when you get here if there is a extra charge or how they wanted to do it. I was with my wife and 3 year old and we wanted a home cooked meal and that's what we got from Mom "chicken noodle casserole with cheese!" It was filling and it was homemade. The price I paid was worth it around 28.00 compared to the taco grill place in Fort Yates which served us salty taco meat, old lettuce, a bun that had to be old and slightly microwaved tasted like rubber my 3 year old wouldn't even eat. And that place was 28.00. Go get your self some home cooked meals made by Mom and don't forget I over heard Fridays there is Cheese Buttons, Knoephla and pretty much German Food. They were called Real Germans by another lady which was nice to hear would of been interesting if spoke in German! Then I might not be making this post lol! Enjoy

Brand New breakfast and bakery in the heart of Bismarck. Freshly baked Bagels,cookies, and and more to have with your breakfast on there types of made-from-scratch English muffins. Venue changes daily and is updated on their Facebook page. It has the feel of a local diner with a culinary artist taste. Their seasonal cookie was a mix of pumpkin spice and snicker doodle thick soft and perfect with a cup of coffee. If you are feeling adventurous, try the traditional Nordic dishes! kuchen, fleischkuekle and others. They have a hard working staff that makes to all happen. You won't be regret the stop.

First time customer and I'm so impressed with the delicious homemade bagel sandwich. I also purchased a small loaf of banana bread, my favorite..yummy. I have to try the lunch special.

I have been eating here from the beginning and they never fail to feed me some outstanding grub! Cheese buttons, award winning Mac and cheese, beef stew and all the other wonderful homemade goodies!

Best place in town to eat and everything is a 100% homemade and tastes so delicious def a place you would want to bring all your friends too and or get catering from. I love you guys and miss you all already... Sending 💘 your way.

The Breakfast burrito was superb!!!

We ate here 2 days in a row. Lunch and then breakfast. Very friendly and food was very good. Walking distance from the Radisson.

Any place that has kase knoepla is alright in my book. We also had the knoepla soup and a cheese burger with tater tots. Everything was great!
