El Pico Mexican Restaurant

The food was good. The salsa was delicious and the spicy cranberry margarita was out of this world!!!
But the service……

The service was 10/5. I had to give this place the full 5 stars…wish I could give more. We left our car key behind and the server chased us down (she sprinted) two blocks to return it to us. I am very grateful.

Amazing restaurant, a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Can't remember my servers name but she was really nice to us and made sure we had everything we wanted/needed. Food taste amazing here, may actually be my new addiction...

Really good salsa and chips! Better than most full sized Mexican restaurants. They have really good quality food. The people working there were really awesome as well.

Friendly staff. The waitress suggested the street tacos with either pork or chicken. Pork is marinated in juice’s & pineapple. Chicken marinated & shredded. Really good avocado sauce. Chips were super fresh & salsa is very good. Definitely driving half n hour if I’m craving this. Only here for the tax man, & this spot made the wait not so bad.

So delicious. I was so stuffed. The salsa is delicious. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. Our server Stephanie was super sweet and was genuine. This was my first time here but it definitely will not be my last. Tremendous!!! Excellente!!!!

Fives across the board from El Pico. Izzy was amazing!! She deserves a raise and a praise for her professionalism and swiftness as a server. She was so kind and pleasant to be around and really made the experience great. The food was delicious and fresh as well so we will definitely be back to try something new next time.

Lovely food. I ordered the steak stuffed burrito 🌯 and a strawberry's Polly's pop. I'm a huge fan of the atmosphere as well. Our waitress was incredible.

You can tell a lot by the first Chicken Chimmy..
And Daaammnnnn.... sooo good.
Loads of chicken, yummy cheese melted to perfection inside, woth rice and beans.. and lovely caso atop.
Oh.. my soul is fed.
Great chips. Salsa could be hotter, but I can easily overlook that small thing.
Had the white rice.. such good flavor. Not just bland white.. so good!!!

This place is firing on all cylinders. Service was top shelf. So helpful with guidance, and great advice..

Just an Unbelievable place , if u enjoy Mexican food , well I was born and raised in southern calif. and this is as good as I've had , 10 stars , oh and by the way the people are super friendly !!!!!!

It's been almost 8-9 years since I've been here (due to moving out of state) but each time I did: the staff was welcoming and friendly, great entertainment and I personally enjoyed the chimichangas or even a good chicken burrito bowl. If I ever travel drive through Independence again, I'd definitely stop here for a great bite to eat!

Great food and great service. The free chips and salsa are unique; the salsa tasted like a mix of pizza sauce and salsa which I liked because it had more 'body' to it. I had the street tacos and regular tacos. Both were great.

Small appetite so i went with Ala cart.

Really yummy carnitas street tacos! The server was busy on taco Tuesday but she remained super sweet and will be the reason we go back!

Xavier was amazing. Food is always great and comes out quick n amazing everytime.
