Old Mexico Restaurant

Food was PERFECT ! And service was FAST.... But they still have that UGLY cook in the back ( Fredy ) Make sure when you stop by and eat that you ask for Fredy and say =
( HI UGLY ) Dean sent me. 🤣

This restaurant may not be pretty, but they have the most delicious food. Seasoned to perfection! We recently decided to try Old Mexico when we found that unfortunately Qy\ueen Taco has closed. This is now our new favorite place! The service is great and the servers are very friendly.

I have been going to Old Mexico since I was a little girl when they were further down 23rd!!! I loved it then and I love it now!!! I always get 3 chicken soft tacos, French fries (no ketchup) and rice!!! I am never disappointed!!! The waitress is always nice and friendly and she seems to remember me and my family every time we go in!!! My daughter also gets the soft tacos but the beef and my two boys and my husband always get the house burrito!!! They are also never disappointed!!!

this restaurant has great food and the service is very very good!! the owner cooks and he is from bolivia and he is very friendly and the waitresses are too. the food is very good and has big helpings and i usually cant eat it all. the restaurant is in a good area and the atmosphere is great. please come and see for yourself. i am sure you will enjoy and have a good time. they do serve booze too if you like that.

I've read a lot of negative reviews, but my experience was actually a pleasant one. I had the taco salad, as did the person I ate with. Our food came quickly and the waitress was friendly. I ate all of my food and wouldn't mind going back. It was a Wednesday evening when I went. They were not overly busy but there were a few others eating.

Yes the sauce tastes like tomato soup, but you can get the spinach cheese dip. They have great tacos, tamales, and chilli. My family has been coming here for over 20 years! Edgar and his family are very nice, so is Gale the waitress. If you would like to have some great food for a very low price, come here. It's way better than anything at Taco Bell!

Absolutely love this place!! I have been coming here for 13 years. I have never had a bad meal. They physically make everything by hand. Not really a busy place so you can get in and out perfectly fine! Owners have been in my family since my dad was a little kid and their extremely friendly! Must try!

The restaurant was clean. The food was great and you gets a plate full of food for the price of what you ordered. I have forgotten the service and cook names but they were very helpful and friendly.

I love this restaurant for the tamales, enchiladas and tacos, but more importantly for how everyone that works there makes me feel. I call my order in even if it has been months, they know exactly who I am. It is a warm, family friendly environment with delicious food and excellent service!

First time here, nit in area often. Clean restaurant, friendly staff (family), good food. Loved the fresh guacamole, they made the salsa spicy on request and the tacos were delicious. Will come again when working nearby.

Never had a bad meal here, yet! Staff was super courteous, and the food was super good. As always.

I have been going to Old Mexico for 5-6 years and I have never had a bad meal. I am somewhat shocked at the negative reviews and wonder why. The food is good, the staff is friendly, and Edgar both friendly and a good cook.

Great food for a great price. Service is excellent. I eat there about once a week and have never had a complaint

Really good chili rellenos made fresh. Call about 20 minutes before you get there and it will be prepared for you once you arrive. Otherwise it takes 15 to 20 minutes for him to prepare it from scratch while you wait. Prices are reasonable as well.

First time back since we moved. Seven years ago was the last time we ate there. The food was just as good today as it was back then. Always friendly and family run.

We ate there today 7/24/19,tacos and guacamole were very good and fresh, will go back again soon👍and liked our waitress, very friendly and will ask for her again.

The best place ever!!! I have been going since I was a little little child. The flavor in ponchovaes has never seized to amaze me. The white spinich dip is also amazing, I strongly recomend going to this fine establishment.
