Southwood United Church-Christ

The friendliest church I have ever been to. I went to a musical "Godspell" several years ago and was floored by the talent. But the friendly atmosphere was what won my heart. I went to church that weekend and joined shortly after that. These are the most welcoming people you will ever meet. No one is ever judged for anything about themselves-everyone is welcome. Not just welcome but open arms, big hug welcome, " we are so happy to have you here". Open and affirming is part of how United Church of Christ is described in our religious views. They met that description and far exceed it in being a loving, caring community of faith. Sunday School classes for children and adults. The adult classes are fascinating. Love wins. Im not a member of any church, but I like the non-discriminatory messege that this one advertieses.

Wellsprings Kingdom Church also meets in this place. Southwood UCC is so open to God's plan that they open their doors to everyone to worship.

Great people has a real family feel. Everyone is welcome and they a forreal about it. Preacher always has a great message.

CAME OVER TO A CHURCH SALE...EVERYTHING NICELY ORGANIZE....CLEAN... NO ODOR. ...FRIENDLY PEOPLE...AND I HAD A TICKET TO USED AT 1200NOON....GOT ALL MY ITEMS FREE....AND I GAVE A DONATION... WILL COME AGAIN

Went to their annual rummage sale and bought a few things. It is always a good sale and they are very nice people.
