I recently moved here from California. I was not familiar with furniture stores. I found American Freight online and I definitely got it right. Melissa Schlagle was so knowledgeable and helpful. Her store, had everything, I needed to furnish my new home.
I will definitely go there for any other furnishing needs. Bottom line prices were great. I will recommend

I came in the store the other day and was absolutely blown away by how friendly and knowledgeable the staff was. Caleb was an absolute rockstar and walked me through the process of choosing just the right mattress. He was attentive to all of the other customers as well without neglecting to help me. I love his demonstration for the mattress cover I almost wish that they didn't work! I am so grateful that I purchased the mattress cover and protection plan. I will absolutely be back and I will be sure to let anyone know where to go. Thanks again Caleb!

Cool stripped down warehouse with all kinds of different furniture, appliances, and mattresses. Braylen was a wonderful salesperson. Super easy-going and a pleasure to work with!

Great selection of furniture in fact the best you'll find around the Independence area....and there prices are decent especially compared to other furniture places even the ones that say their stuff is discounted.... plus they have a good warranty you do have to pay for the warranty but it's worth it and to deliver it's only 100 bucks within a 25 mile radius!!!

I came in looking for a sofa, bought an entire set instead. Caleb was very helpful and informative. He explained the protection plan and we are so glad we purchased that too. Everything went smooth with delivery and we are happy with our purchase. Thank you to the store manager, Melissa too! You can tell they value their employees as Caleb was really enjoying his job.

Caleb was really great to work with! He wasn’t pushy but was very informative and made sure to recommend products to test out that hit the features I was looking for. He was nice and funny.

This was my first time shopping at American freight and Caleb literally saved my customer experience for me if it wasn’t for him I would’ve never shopped at American freight again I had a really bad experience at your other store on front road which I’ll be sure to leave a detailed review at their website. Caleb was an amazing sales associate and helped us get everything we needed without being too high pressure! We love our new bedroom set and kitchen table.

Caleb was awesome! Very informative didn't hassle us like some folks do at other furniture stores. He was knowledgeable of the stores inventory and cut us a good deal.

The whole team was super down to earth and friendly. Dillon even found a wheelchair to assist a customer with limited mobility. Prompt and straight forward service.

I came in because the bed I had in layaway they sold however Caleb made sure he took care of me . He helped me find a new bed I liked , he helped me choose between which one will be best by answering all my questions and he gave me a discount for my troubles which he didn’t have to do.. I super appreciate all of your help caleb I been here a few times and this was the first time someone greeted me at the door and walked with me until I found what I was looking for…

I saved time and money by shopping at the location near me instead of driving around for all the items i found here! The prices were reasonable and there were awesome deals on clearance to make the total sale sweeter! We found everything we needed in one place and the total ticket was a savings over bargain shopping in multiple places. Mellissa was very knowledgeable and friendly which i love when spending money. I recommend this location if you need things like furniture or appliances around your house.

Friendly sales personnel. They were attentive, but not overly so. Let us make our choices and we’re there if we had any questions. I highly recommend shopping here.

Trent and Melissa were amazing. Customer service is top notch here! We got an entire bedroom set at a very affordable price. They even worked with other stores to make sure we got what we wanted. They went above and beyond right at closing time to make sure we were satisfied customers.

Caleb was very helping and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond helping get us a new sectional.

**Editing to add: Greg was great helping load my sectional, and even made me laugh during the process. Matthew was great helping fix some errors in the manufacturer set. Great Job! We will definitely do business here again!

Melissa was so welcoming and helpful! She greeted me kindly and helped me find what I was looking for and gave her own recommendations as well! On top of that it was clean and organized while I walked around browsing.

They are so helpful and amazing! Plus so sweet. We asked for recommendations for stuff and they gave the best options for us. Then when stuff happened we talked again and they helped us out! They are so amazing! If you need furniture this is a place I recommend to go!
