I am very grateful for Dr Burkhard’s intelligence and integrity. It has been a long haul of retina issues as I have continued to land in that 1% of challenging and semi-successful experiences. He has remained optimistic and honest as we work to find the next best steps while accepting the reality that not every medical procedure unfolds as expected. I am grateful for his genuineness and humor and will miss him greatly in my years ahead. Blessings and Best Wishes follow him wherever life leads.

Mike did a great job with our whole family. He is incredibly friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. Dakota Eye Institute is lucky to have him.

Dr Rannum is very personable and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to see him. He was able to correct my vision to 20/20! My optometrist in Minit told me it couldn't be done.

Dr. Samson was wonderful. Quick and efficient. My child is 5 months old and is interested in everything arou d her. Dr. Samson was able to maintain my child's attention to conduct the eye examine.

Very nice facility with very kind staff. Dr. Rychfield was very professional and kind. We were there for our 3 year old son and he tried everything he could to make him comfortable. I would recommend them!

Dr. Rodenburg and his staff are welcoming, friendly, no wait time, not rushed, caring, knowledgeable, informative, thoroughly answered concerns/questions, Dr. Rodenburg exercises a conservative approach vs. a rush to surgery; prudent decision in this particular situation.

I have never had a bad experience here. My daughter sees Dr. Samson. As a toddler with medical history, she has extreme white coat syndrome. Dr. Samson has been incredible with her. She handles the experience so well; he never pushes her and always makes us feel comfortable and taken care of. The staff has been nothing short of fantastic. They are always so friendly, helpful and caring. It’s refreshing to have a facility where I don’t need to worry about how my daughter will handle it. I would recommend Dakota Eye and definitely Dr. Samson to anyone, especially those with littles. So pleased with all the care we’ve received!

Was a very scared first timer at an eye doctor, the staff there was amazing, the lady I saw before the doctor came in was an amazing person she put me at ease as I was completely terrified. Dr.Roles is amazing at what she does and put my mind at ease and explained everything perfectly. Definitely recommend this place for anyone who needs to get an eye exam or anything else. Definitely not afraid as much to go back in.

Appointment was on time. All personnel were joyful and helpful. All explained very well with no impatience.

I couldn't recommend Dakota Eye enough! Every single staff member I encountered went above and beyond to provide the BEST care. Becki is absolutely fabulous and made sure I was thoroughly prepared for my PRK procedure. Dr. Selid did my surgery and he was so nice and talked me through the whole procedure. I am now 1 month out from surgery and can see perfectly! Thank you all for the awesome care and service!

Loved how well Dr. Samson worked with my children (8 yrs and 2 yrs). He was able to get my daughter’s attention and keep her attention while doing the exam. Would definitely recommend him!

Had an emergency and the clinic was able to get me into one of the docs. I usually see Dr. Balliet, but he was booked solid. Dr Raducu was able to get me in and was wonderful with letting me know what was going on with my vision.

Dakota Eye has treated me very well. They answered all my questions in detail and made me feel very comfortable with all my procedures I had done. Would highly recommend them.
