Community of Christ - The Auditorium

Very neat architecture and the purest, most epic sounding organ made this visit an extremely pleasant one! We attended a college graduation and I was in awe at the size of that organ! It was a fantastic service! The grandeur of the ceremony was made more epic by the impressive size and scope of the auditorium. There was tons of easy parking. The seats were comfortable enough that after 3 hours we were still fine.

A beautiful place. The mayor's Christmas concert was amazing!

I attended the Mayor's Christmas concert on December 4. There were hundreds of kids from local schools that sang choir and an orchestra accompaniment. The singing was wonderful, the orchestra was terrific, and the acoustics were remarkable in that circular layout. The entries and facilities are well thought out. It was a great time; I'd recommend it 100%.

Amazing place. I played a concert there recently and attended one last year. So, from the standpoint of being on stage and in the audience, it was great! Very well laid out, convenient access to dressing rooms and restrooms.

Went to see my granddaughter perform at the Mayor's Christmas Concert. The auditorium was beautifully decorated and the sound was perfect. It truly is a beautiful place.

This is a building that has a lot of history. But because I have been going to it my whole life it isn't as special in my mine as others think it is. I live down the street and see it often. It is a interesting place if you have never had the opportunity to visit. I guess I am jaded as it is just part of my life.

Extremely nice facility. Attended my daughter's graduation there. Very large and spacious, a little cramped in the balcony, but still comfortable. If you are thinking of attending an event there, don't fret!

Went and saw a 4th grade Christmas concert here. The auditorium is beautiful and huge. The Dome really accentuates the sound of the orchestra even though it was only High School. And they have the biggest pipes I've ever seen on an organ.

I have been here three times now. I had a great time at the opening of World Conference 2016. The Tahitians rocked the house with their singing. I met a lot of great people. I look forward to my next visit.

A landmark in Independence! Interior space holds 5000 people with top notch av equipment. Fun fact: President Harry S Truman announced the formation of the United Nations in this building. Be sure to see the UN statue and fountain on the west side of the building. The only one in the world dedicated to UN Peacekeepers

Graduation for my granddaughter, this is a great venue for this, however it would have been really nice if guests had followed the instructions and had a little decorum so we could ALL enjoy our time and our graduates.

Have gone to several HS graduations. The acoustics are wonderful. They do not tolerate those who break the rules they are removed from the auditorium.

The spire has an amazing range of accoustics when music is played from within. There's even a room at the top, but don't tell anyone I said that. It's a secret!

I love not only this wonderful Auditorium and the Stone Church, I love the old RLDS-Church. Four Times I visit this "Center of Zion" and I`m loved in this holy Place of the Missouri-Mormons till today. By the World Church Conference`s in the Auditorium, you can feel very strong the mighty Holy Spirit of God !!!
I´m a Policeman from Berlin in Germany and this is my Testamony: Visit the Auditorium, the Stone Church, the Tempel and the LDS-Mormon Visitor Center and you will love this nice and friendly Town of Independence like I do.

This is a very nice place for the graduation that we attended the 18th of December 2021.

I like to park in their gigantic parking lot and soak in the shade of the trees in the summer. It's a quiet and peaceful place to be.

It is great except my husband had a hard time finding the car after they need to number the parking area .
