Rick's Auto Clinic took my car in promptly. They diagnosed my problem, gave me an accurate estimate and told me when the work would be completed. Fair pricing and very professional work. The owners are also very personable. I highly recommend Rick's Auto Clinic.

Rick and his team are some of the most professional mechanics around. They have a wealth of knowledge and are extremely thorough in both the work they do and the explanation of said work and costs associated. Will never go anywhere else but Rick’s in the KC area.

I've had Rick's do inspections on my cars and had them do an alignment of my Mustang. Everything was up front and they did a good job within my budget. Yes there is a fee to use credit cards because banks charge the business for having/using a machine. Most businesses hide that charge in their cost. They've been honest and straight forward.

Ricks auto clinic was fantastic!! I only wish I would’ve gone here from the beginning. Sean was very helpful from the beginning in finding me a solution to a pretty tricky issue with my axle rod. They took care of everything I needed at a fair price and got the work done in a timely manner. As a business owner I can appreciate how honest and transparent they were throughout the process. Thanks again to everybody at ricks for helping me out and prioritizing my issue! I have several vehicles and will be bringing them here from now on!

These guys are the best - going above and beyond to get my truck taken care of. I needed tires, full tune up, and new rotors and brakes. They had to drive all over the city to find the rotors and still were able to get it done by 5pm! Oh, not to mention they worked it out with my windshield guy as well and let him come in and replace my windshield. Couldn't recommend Rick's more!

My wife and I had been experiencing some issues that seemed like it was suspension related. our ford Flex basically just sounding bad when we drove over bumps and we were concerned about the safety. This was the first time I have had to use a mechanic in the Kansas City area. They were extremely kind and had it back to us very quickly. They fixed the suspension problem and then offered to fix the exhaust issue but recommended that we wait on it. They mentioned that it could be fixed sometime soon but it was not effecting the performance at the moment. It was evident what they were talking about. Basically they could have tried to convince me to fix it, but instead encouraged me to wait until it really needed to be replaced. Again, great people. I will certainly be back.

First time user. I've been looking for a new repair shop and I think I've found it. Everyone was nice to deal with, and I didn't have to wait long for an appointment.

My 80yrs old mom was in from out of town for the holidays and her fluxx capacitor (or thermostat something) went out on her car and luckily it was in my driveway. Jason was super friendly and very helpful! They got her car in the same day, gave us timely updates, was able to order the part, get it fixed and back to us the next day. Thankfully it was only a one day setback to her trip but it was made a lot easier thanks to Rick's Auto Clinic and I appreciate the customer service they provided during the week of Christmas.

Honest work at a fair price. I know from time in the waiting room that each of the people they call back get the same treatment. Rick's tells what they've found wrong, which items are urgent and which are necessary, and what it will cost for the repairs chosen. No pressure. No unnecessary service items.

I asked for an opinion on some service my dealer shop recommended. These guys explained why the service is a good idea and said it doesn't need to be done nearly as often as the dealer recommends.

I trust Rick's to do any repairs I need.

Rick's is Excellent! We have had three experiences with them. They are very competent, honest, and reasonable. Our largest job was the complete renovation of a '66 Mustang. My Mazda 6 would sometimes start and the next day would not. Rick's Auto Clinic diagnosed the problem and replaced the fuel pump. The repair bill was very reasonable and they let me know the problem and cost before repairing.. These are top notch folks .

I needed an inspection and had driven to Taylor’s auto care off of Blue Ride Blvd, two blocks from my home. The older gentleman inside the shop was on the phone and didn’t even acknowledge me as I entered. I waited patiently for him to end his call. Once he ended it, the phone rang again, he proceeded to answer it and still hadn’t acknowledged me. He hung it and the phone rang two more times, still had yet to acknowledge me. When it was all said and done, I waited for three separate phone calls before he asked what it was I needed. It was 8:05 and he told me he had an opening at 10:30. I chose at that moment to see anyone else, other than giving my business to these guys!

Drove to Ricks Auto Clinic and was greeted immediately and with sincerity. They too had a wait, but I decided to drive 4 miles out of my way, than to give business to a mechanic that treated me as if he was doing me the favor.

The guys at Rick's did an amazing job fixing my car. It is an unusual color and you can't even tell I have a new fender. The blend is amazing! Very pleased. I wish I could add pictures to show how great it looks.

Recently my girlfriend's car had a significant break problem. We at first took it to a local Firestone down the street that we had a good experience with when we bought her tires. She has an old Corolla. The amount we were quoted for front and rear break work was disheartening. We were thinking we'd have to get rid of her car. Ultimately we decided to have it towed here for a second opinion since we'd had good experiences in the past. It was the right choice. They assessed the same kinds of repairs as Firestone but we wound up paying in the 50-60% range, including the tow. I highly recommend Rick's Auto Clinic. They do not disappoint!

If you ask Raytown locals where they take their cars for service, Rick's is the name you will hear most often. They are well established and full service with both mechanical and body shops. Call for an appointment because they are always busy, but you will still receive personal service. We tried other places before we were let on this secret - quite a few of those are no longer in business and none would we suggest our friends or family use. Rick's is the only one we use and the only one we send people to. I think that pretty much says it all. They also have some vehicles for sale, and we will certainly check there first when we are in the market for a reliable used car/truck/SUV.
