Three Trails Animal Hospital

My family has been going to Three Trails before it was Three Trails! We started with Dr. John at Northeast Dog and Cat Hospital on Independence Ave in KC in the 60’s, then switched to Dr. Schrock when he came to the practice. We have never taken our animals anywhere else nor will we! We trust them wholeheartedly with our babies!!

Have used Three Trails for over 20 years, multiple dogs and they have always been professional, friendly and caring about our babies.

I have taken my dogs to this clinic for several years and had to say goodby to one there and I received a sympathy card which was signed by the whole staff. Everyone on their staff has been very competent and caring. Veterinary is not cheap but excellent care is priceless!
The photo is my Bambi Sue . She is missing her left eye but Dr. Appling saved the remaining vision in her right eye. Bambi has to take two eyedrops two times per day. When she sees the bottles in my hand, she immediately lies down and waits for the drops!

Moving from a different state can make anyone feel uneasy. The Dr. made us feel welcomed and my pet loved her and her staff. This is his new home for All his pet needs, make it yours too!

I first visited Dr. Schrock with my hamster at the end of her life and he and his staff provided exceptional care and were so compassionate to her and myself. They sent us a card after that visit and I've since taken my other pets here and I have had wonderful experiences. For a first interaction, these were some of the saddest circumstances and they made a great impression on me. I feel like their fees and prices have been reasonable for exams etc.

The staff is professional and efficient. They always handle my pets with gentle care and the vets are very good at explaining things. They always manage to work me in to their schedule if I have a pet become too sick to wait for an appointment. Being able to make appointments online through the PetDesk app is very convenient. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a good experience.

Josephine is very comfortable at your office and shows no fear. The staff is so welcoming and professional. Great explanation and instructions for her after care. She is back to being the Crazy Girl!!!

Dr. Shrock is the best. Very calming, friendly, and on top of things. I have total complete faith in his abilities and judgement. I have been bringing all of my animals to him for about 5 years. (2 German shepherds, 2 cats)

3 trails staff is always friendly and the prices have always been very affordable. I drive 30 minutes, because I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my animals.

The doctor that seen Louise was so good she explained everything showed me the x-rays went over every detail to me about what was going on with my little Louise. I would highly recommend this place. She was very confident and what she was doing and very patient as I told her what I thought was going on with Louise.

It took a while for the doctor to come in, but I was satisfied with the outcome, only I couldn’t get Tilly to take her Medicine, and I lost what she was supposed take, and lost that money .

I went in, explained my concerns, they listened and made recommendations. When we talked about services, they informed me about the costs. Since Charlie's (cat patient) treatment he is doing great, so happy this little guy is getting all better. He loves them and also gives them a 5 star.

This is the first veterinarian my dog has actually enjoyed going to. he loves all the people there and he has got the best care i have ever seen. Ive been to about 5 diffenerent vets. i have now found our home for my pups needs. i would say Autumn is the empoyee that has taken care of tank the best and will forever be in her debt! SHE THE BEST! thank you all the care you have given him and if anything else is needed i know i will have someone i can trust!!!!!!!

Amazing place for my kitties. The ladies were so nice here, both for reception and the actual vet. They were very understanding and helpful. My kitty kept breaking out of his box and they helped me tape the box up and make sure he was comfortable. I got a card signed from the staff after my appointment and I am in love with this place. Amazing service, 10/10 I recommend :)

Highly recommend Three Trails Animal Hospital. All staff was friendly and fast. My cat has FeLV and most Veterinary offices that I take him to when he is sick brush him off as a lost cause. This Vet took time to explain a lot of things to me; shared and related his experiences with his own FeLV positive cats; he gave me hope about my cats situation, while still keeping it realistic. We are switching to this vet going forward. Thanks!

We are very happy with the care given to 3 year old dog, Roxie! Our dog had started having seizures in July. They have worked so carefully and cautiously to obtain a treatment plan to get her seizures under control. We are thankful for her research and diligence to do this.
We had a Bearded dragon, Mr.Magoo, several years ago that they took great care of him, as well.

I use to take Lucy to Indepence Animal Hospital. They all were great but I didnt like we could never get an appt and its all walk in. Then Lucy needed to be fixed and they wanted almost 500 dollars.The economy is horrible enough. I called Three Trails and they did it for 270.00 my Lucy only weights 9 lbs. There were no extra surprise charges and they explained everything to me upfront. She even got to come home the same day which I was happy about. We will be taking Lucy back to Three trails. Thank you for making this possible for us to afford.

We love Three Trails Animal Hospital! They are the absolute best around! Autumn is amazing too! I really like how they will take the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. The vet took a couple minutes to get to know our dog and get her in a good mindset before giving shots and taking blood. They really care about the well-being of the animals.
We will see them again next year for the annual check up and shots.

Three Trails Animal Hospital in Independence Missouri is a place that I will take my Animals now and definitely in the future. The staff there are kind, gentle and a thing I find very important, will take the time to explain and teach about any questions that I have. They have a boarding service and a grooming service. I want to encourage anyone that needs a vet in Independence Missouri to strongly consider Three trails Animal hospital.

Three Trails is absolutely amazing. They always go above and beyond to help me and my cats. The vets are the most compassionate and caring vets I've ever seen, as well as the techs. The ladies of the desk are always nice, helpful and friendly regardless of how busy they are or what kind of day it's been. I can never say enough good things about this place!
