Honestly I think this has to be one of the best battery warehouses in town it would have cost me almost $300 for my battery and it only cost me $80 here plus you get a 2 year warranty which the other place was only offering a 3 year warranty and their battery gave out after 3 years and 1 month.... coincidence? I would honestly not go anywhere else for my battery. These refurbish batteries are more or less better than a brand new battery at a fraction of the cost. Their workers know what they're doing they get the job done quickly and are very professional.

I purchased a Group size 59 refurbished battery with a 2 year warranty back in October 2021. The battery is slowly going out. I went by in the afternoon and was told there wasn't any. So, Dave the owner told me that usually in the mornings they have stocked battery...Morco Battery didn't have any cheaper battery that was size 59. They just had 2 years on up and starting battery retail was $150 plus tax and installation charges.

Great fast service. About $43 for recon battery with 2 yr warranty. $90 battery at AutoZone has 3 month warranty. I parked, they pulled and replaced the battery, and I was on the road in about 15 minutes.

Always great staff and location is almost center of town, and refurbished batteries are good and cheap.

Awesome customer service! I usually go to another battery place, but I just happen to see them on my way to another store. I went in cause I was told I needed a new battery. When I got there they checked my battery and said it was fine. I told them I was going out of town the next day and wanted to be safe. They cleaned my connections and didn't charge me anything! They could have told me I needed a new battery but they were honest! I will definitely send my friends and family here.

Recently purchased a battery from Recon Battery Warehouse, however it failed to start on Friday the 15th. My sister & I got a jump & drive the car back to Recon to have it tested.
A very nice young lady tested it & it turned out the battery wasn’t working right and the little lady gave us a new battery & up graded the replacement & with a 24 month warranty as well.

I have been driving in ABQ since age 16 and changed many of my vehicle's batteries. I just heard about this place and called to confirm that my size battery was in stock. Lately all service industries have become rude at least,, unbearable at most. Tea (tay- ah) was so polite and informative. Batteries were carried out and back in for me. Chatted with staff for a bit. Impeccable service with absolute politeness! As long as this ownership stays in business, I will always recommend Recon Battery Warehouse! Oh, and the batteries come with a warranty and are at a great price! Thanks TEAM!

I wish I could leave these guys a six star review. You can’t get any better than these guys. Our four year old Subaru’s battery died and we got it jumped. We headed over to recon battery warehouse which was just closing. It was getting dark and it was cold, and we assumed they would ask us to come back tomorrow. But Tea at the front desk met us with an incredibly can-do attitude. She came out, checked our battery and told us it was fine. We didn’t need to replace it… When do you hear that? And then she cleaned our battery connections and told us we should be fine. I didn’t know that honest businesses like this still existed. We will tell everyone to go here and we will definitely be back for any of our battery needs. Thank you Tea and thank you recon battery warehouse.

Terrific warranty. I bought a pair of Optima Red Tops last year thinking I could do a dual battery set-up in my 1978 Toyota Landcruiser. I should have asked for advice. The Optimas were definitely the wrong cells for that application. They didn't work with my alternator and wouldn't charge properly. I couldn't find my warranty card for a couple of months so I thought I was out of luck. I finally found it in the "safe place" and took the Optimas back. The folks at Recon explained that I was trying to use the wrong type of battery, and replaced them with a pair of batteries that will work with my old-school charging system. Two Tips: KEEP YOUR WARRANTY CARD. TELL THEM THE EXACT APPLICATION YOU'RE USING THE BATTERIES FOR. They'll give you the right batteries for whatever you're going to do.

Phenomenal, coworker recommended here after battery failed for second time in 2 weeks at work. Auto Zone checked battery 10 days ago and said it was perfect even though 5 years old. I knew there was a pull or drain on it somewhere and the young lady confirmed it in a few seconds and a few minutes later the young man had replaced the battery and I was on my way.

Price and warranty and no trying to sell a bunch of other junk made it a very worthwhile trip
