Great time. Short lines for the rides and a really interesting atmosphere for a theme park. I would definitely recommend buying your tickets online, bringing a cooler, and bringing a rolling cart to carry your things in. Parking lot 2 is the closest free parking lot with shuttles to carry you there and back. Have Fun!

This really is the best theme park in the world. It offers something for everyone. Every day, they perform a flag ceremony and celebrate Vets. Marvel cave tour is free with admission, but they also host a lantern tour to explore other areas. There's rides and activities for all ages and interests. Plenty of snacks, beverages, and meal options; tasty and at a decent price. You can also bring your own food. Lots of craftsman demonstrations, live performances, an assortment of shops to browse, and places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The train ride is a great way to end the visit. They offer discounts for children and seniors and have free admission for LEO in June. The park is very clean and well-staffed with friendly people. The season pass is a great buy, and offers many discounts and perks, including a discount at their campground. They also have a water park open during the summer. Highly recommend.

What a fun park! We did the VIP tour and I can honestly say it was the best private park tour we have had! Huff was our guide, or accomplice I guess, he ended up robbing the train.Huff did some advance planning with us to figure out what we like to do, to ensure we had the best day. We had an absolutely blast and hope to make it back for Christmas (the park should be absolutely amazing with all the decorations. The park was super clean, all employees were friendly and helpful. The entire park made sure we had the best day, and they were wildly successful.
Marble cave tour is a must, it was a lot of walking but Bryan was super informative and had the best dad jokes.
The saloon show was entertaining and just long enough to give you a few minute sit down break while still feeling like you were busy “doing something” , the comedy magic show was also really good, still no idea how he guess my card, along with 7 other people correctly.

Such a wonderful time! By far our favorite park. The cave is amazing, the crafts-people are so talented, the shows are fantastic, and the food is super yummy! All this in an overtly Christian and patriotic company... amazing! WE LOVE SDC!!!

This was our last day of rest in your city. We decided to end our holiday in the park. We accidentally met a family who helped us buy cheaper tickets. Thanks a lot. This was very unexpected and joyful for us. The holiday park itself is very diverse and suitable for all ages. We had a great time, bought souvenirs for home and will definitely recommend this place to our friends, thank you.💫💫💫

Was a wonderful experience for myself and the family. A few technical hiccups, but they happen. Coming from KC my experience was mainly World’s Of Fun.

The views from the different rides and seeing the landscape almost makes it worth it in itself. I would suggest planning during the week if you can, to avoid the crowds. But it is still pleasurable either way.

The Time Traveler and Powder Keg were by far the best rides in my opinion.
Thunderation was pretty good.
But The new Fire in the Hole wasn’t to bad.

The food options were also very nice as well. Take advantage of all the festivals and cup fills to save your money if you can.

We had a group of 42 mostly children and what-a-day!!! My sister and I went to the rides with no lines at 9AM. The weather was nice not too hot, but a lot of walking. It was the hills that will get you!!! We had the best time and the roller coasters will beat you!!! We got on a water ride and EVERYTHING got wet!!!
I will go just to go on the rides again. We met Pernell, a park worker, who helped direct us to the next ride so cool 😎. Everyone was helpful to us.
I ask please there is an area in the park where someone (young lady this day) dressed in a prison outfit, please, please, please replace a person with a dummy. It broke my heart to see her in the prison outfit. The train ride is a must 😀. We met so many people visiting from all over and wear comfortable shoes.
I would recommend this park to everyone and enjoy!!!
Thank you 😊

Visiting Silver Dollar City has been on my bucket list for years, and I finally had a chance to visit. The moment you get into the park you're met with incredible theming and a wonderful southern atmosphere. All the rides were very well done and also had great theming. The employees all wear period clothing as well. The park has plenty to do for all ages, from craft shows, and shows etc. to rides that will scratch all itches.

My favorite part was the cave tour, by FAR. It is included in the park admission and is beautiful. It takes about an hour to go through the cave, so keep that in mind, but it's totally worth it!

Amazing rides and efficient staff! And to all the haters saying that the rides are all a long wait, patience is definitely not on your side. Even though some of the rides had some long lines, the staff were so efficient to keep the lines moving, even on a holiday like today: Memorial Day! So many memories made!

Nice place for everybody though I would say not a baby friendly place. For a mom like me, I struggled to find a fun place for my 1 year old baby. Most of the rides, play place are for 4 yrs old and up. I wish they had a playground indoor or outdoor for babies. Lots of rides and food. We will come back in the future for sure.

If you're looking forward for a day to spend with family, friends, or anyone in general, mark this place down for your bucket list. Although the lines are (incredibly) long for rides and concession stands and your legs would definitely get sore one standing and walking throughout the sloped terrain, it'll all be worth it, since some of the rides are incredibly thrilling and worth the wait, though some aren't if they're not to your liking. I also heavily recommend visiting an hourly show to take a breather and rest for a bit. I do recommend buying tickets in advance or signing up for the "trailblazers pass" if you want to have a nice and quick experience with the park. I also heavily recommend a cold refill-able drink as it can get really hot over here.

This is a unique amusement park. The mining village theme for the buildings is good. The humour associated with the narration of its mining history and the tour guides stories were very much enjoyable. One of the tour guides asked for tips which will only be used to "help children" and he has five children :-D. Another one asked riders of the train not to activate the emergency brake if they don't have an emergency because if they did, "one will be provided for them" :-D.
The roller coasters here are of the moderate thrill type and are quite enjoyable. Christmas season is particularly good because of the lighting. This is one of the best I have ever seen. Nearly the entire theme park was beautifully decorated with lights.
For me personally, the jewel on the crown was the Marvel Cave - a 500-foot deep cave with an underground waterfall.

The wife and I love this place. Always tons of fun things too do, and plenty of things to eat. Never a bad time. The new fire in the hole is amazing. Favorite time of the year is around Christmas, must see the parade, and must get Wassel.

One of the best places to spend the day with your family. We waited in line 25 minutes for the new Fire In the Hole, and it was worth the wait. A place where customer service is still a thing and people love their jobs. Even made it to the church service Sunday @11.

Had a lot of fun, but there was such a long wait for rides and food that we didn't get to see much of the park. I recommend going more than one day if you can or go when the park isn't as busy. We have go e several times, and Halloween and Christmas are just so busy, but definitely both are a must see just be prepared for longer wait times. We bought tickets in advance, so our wait time to enter wasn't that long at all.

This is a very cute and beautiful place to visit. I spent whole day walking around the park. Many rides were closed due to the weather inclement. However, there were still a few rides open, and the wait for each ride was between 20 to 40 minutes. The Broadway style musical shows were awesome! Definitely worth to watch it. I watched the “Dicken’s Christmas Carol” show, very cute story. In addition, I strongly recommend to ride the steam train to get around the amusement park. I saw beautiful Christmas lights and story. The only downside about this amusement park was no place for people to rest. It was 45 degree Fahrenheit on the day I visited. I was so freezing and tired being outside for almost the whole day, and I could not find anywhere to rest and get warmer.

What can I say, we love this place! We have been visiting as a family since we moved to Missouri 5 years ago. Last year, we finally became Season Pass members, and it was so worth it! I bought 2 for our family of four, and they both came with free friends passes and we used those for the other 2 of us. I love the Pioneer theme, like Dollywood, and all the rides and artisan shops. The live shows are great too. But my very favorite things that they offer are the seasonal festivals and food/drink passports. We loved the garden fest in Spring, seeing the Circus in the summer, and the pumpkin dance party in the fall. Then of course, tonight we went to our favorite Christmas lights festival! The food passport is around $35, and you get to choose 5 seasonal choices from the different food vendors. We buy 1 and share. It is definitely worth it for the price and food selections! Our favorites are the soups, skillets, and funnel cakes!

Oh my gosh what a gem in my own backyard! I am a theme park enthusiast in this place does not disappoint. Yes it is more costly for admission. I bought a season pass this year and it’s already paid for itself. The park is super clean well-maintained. Nice customer, friendly staff, I find the food amazing and not badly priced for the quality. Yes it’s a little bit more than six flags or worlds of fun but definitely worth every dollar. I will have a season pass for the rest of my life love this place.

We have loved every trip we have made to Silver Dollar City over the years. Our favorite time of the year is Christmas. It's indescribable the sense of Christmas spirit you feel between the park completely lit with holiday lights, the old fashion train ride complete with "Grandpa" sharing the story of Christmas, the professional musical productions of It's a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol. There is something for everybody in my family, whether young or old. Fantastic amusement rides, the best roller coasters I've ever been on, quality food at an affordable price, and a unique experience I have never seen anywhere else.

Thank you for being able to provide a family-friendly environment that has never lost its magic in the 20 years we've been visiting!

Had a great time for the final day. The app is so fantastic and pretty accurate for ride time waits. The staff was super friendly and when we requested the back they were always happy to let us have it. The Christmas lights were beautiful. If you are there during the winter when Christmas lights are up, I highly highly recommend riding the barn swing when it gets dark because the view is breathtaking (you just need to face the correct side, but you can ask the staff member and they are happy to do it).
