This place is so good. Had to come to Springfield and had heard all about this place so took a little detour… it did not disappoint! Staff and food were amazing! Take the time to stop by… oh and don’t forget to get a piece of donut bread pudding 😁

Mandy killed it we had a group of 18 she's the greatest❤.......the burnt ends and pulled pork we're to die for the BBQ bean's and coleslaw 😋 yummy. The jalapeno sausage was the bomb! Everything was 💯 BEST BBQ ever!!! Thank you for hosting our group ❤🥰

Well I’m not sure which BBQ is my favorite now. I will not mention the other establishment here. This review is just for Hog Tide. First off, this restaurant was spotless from the moment we walked through the door. My wife and I were greeted even before we got to the door. There was a waitress bussing an outside table and even though she had her hands full she welcomed us and opened the door for us. I was impressed and we returned the action by holding the door for her to get through with her full hands. The rest of the staff was friendly and informative. The before mentioned waitress took our order. We then found a table. There were a few televisions and of course they had the Cardinals game on. I don’t think we waited 10 minutes for our food to come out. It might have been a little longer but with everything to look at the time went fast. Another waitress brought us our food. She was very nice as well and attentive. The food was great. I had a 2 meat platter with smoked chicken and Texas sausage. Both were wonderful but the best was the baked potato salad and cornbread. My wife had burnt ends platter. She also had the potato salad but she got fried okra as well. Everything on her plate was delicious. Thank you Hog Tide BBQ for a wonderful dinner all around.

Everything was delicious. I had pulled pork, sausage, beans, potato salad and banana pudding. Pork was tender and flavorful, not laced with gristle or fatty. Potato salad was perfect balance of flavor and sauce and potatoes cooked perfectly, still firm but soft. Barbecue sauces were tasty compliment to the meat.

This has been a place that I have over looked for 3 years and hadn't given a second thought due to my own misgivings about the last BBQ that I had eat in town until today when I was out with my wife and daughter.... AND I'm A Dang fool for have passing this place off as the typical everyday BBQ establishment. I have to say if you pass this place up thinking you can find better..... GOOD LUCK. I have been all around the country state after state and have eaten at some of the most famous BBQ restaurants in the USA just to find out that HOG TIDE BBQ STANDS with the very best of them and above most on all point Taste, texture, tender, proper persention, service, as well as hospitality and not far from my own back yard. Well worth the drive just off the north side HWY 60 Aurora Mo.

Absolutely delicious! The smell as soon as you get out of the car tells you how amazing it's going to be. I didn't get a picture of my husband's food before he had already started eating, he was in that big of a hurry to try it out! We will certainly be back!!

Best BBQ place I’ve ever been too! Definitely worth the drive from Springfield MO! The owner is very nice and welcoming! They serve the best bbq with great service! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Phenomenal! Taste was on point, I personally had the shredded brisket (extra meat) sandwich and potato salad and it was GREAT! My kids got Mac n Cheese with fries and onion rings those were great as well. My aunt got the burnt ends and we all agreed it's the BEST BBQ we've had yet since being here in SW Missouri from Northern IL in the last 4 years. WAY TO GO HOG TIDE!

Hands down the best barbecue chicken I've ever had. The service the staff everything makes you feel like home and you don't leave hungry.

Highly recommend. Driving and discovered this place. I walked in and was greeted by the hostess explaining their menu and the most popular options. Looking around inside there are ribbons/ awards of the cooking tournaments the restaurant was part of. I ordered to-go the "Ram Sandwich" and it hit the spot. Food and service were great!!

Ordered carry out and was very surprised that it was every bit as good as Kansas City BBQ then I saw they had KC BBQ blue ribbons. We had the burnt ends and pulled pork which were phenomenal!!

Food is excellent, service is always good and friendly. The dining area needs to be a bit bigger with more tables, but you work with what you have. They do need to keep a closer eye on the tea dispensers, they run dry quick. The beans are fantastic, do try them. And the homemade chips are great when they are fresh. Of the meats, the smoked sausage is my personal favorite with the pulled pork in close second.

We just returned for the first time in over a year and not only was the food fantastic but the staff was seriously the best staff we've ever had EVER! They were incredibly fast, attentive, friendly and amazing with our kids! We will 100% will be returning more often! Keep it up hog tide!

This was a great experience. The restaurant was very clean. The pulled pork was amazing. They have two bbq sauces available. One is a competition hot bbq sauce. It was so yummy. Not too hot.
