Cafe Bombay

Cafe Bombay is delicious every time! It will always be one of my favorite places. Great food, lots of variety, big portions, and the family who owns the business is so friendly. Everyone is polite and easy to chat with and they make every interaction enjoyable. 5 stars all around!

This place was awesome! From placing a order to actually getting our food everything was super easy. We got the chicken Tika Masala my wife got no spice I got full spice and both of them were perfect. The chicken is super moist and holds together, yet falls apart when your fork hits it! Tie it all together with awesome rice and the chai ice cream and it’s a wrap! The papadum are super airy and light making it awesome all around! Definitely will be back.

Cafe Bombay is the best Indian restaurant in town! We've ordered take out here many times and has been our go to ever since we moved to the area the past two years. The samosas, raitha, garlic naan, shrimp curry, and beef curry are our favorites! It's a family owned business that are very thoughtful to how spicy you want your food and are incredibly friendly and thoughtful.

My boyfriend and I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for awhile and we regret not doing it sooner. The restaurant itself was charming along with the ambient music. Our food was savory and it was awesome to customize your spice level. The owner was talking to us and he was so welcoming. The overall experience was fantastic!! Definitely will be returning! Don't forget your bottle of wine!

I recently ordered from Cafe Bombay Takeaway and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The menu had a great selection of dishes, and everything we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. The delivery was prompt and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality of food and service. I would definitely order from this restaurant again.

I had the vegetable korma last week and I'm still thinking about it. Hands down the best Indian food I've ever eaten.

What a hidden gem! The food is phenomenal. Probably the best Indian food I have ever had. The spices and flavors were unique and extremely fresh. Friendly service. Take out only. I cannot wait to come back and try more!

This place is TRULY amazing!!! I am very picky about Indian food. It tends to be spiced incorrectly and/or too greasy. Love everything they make, tastes homemade by mom. We drive quite a way to eat here!!

Great family owned and operated restaurant! Our server was attentive, pleasant, funny and friendly ! The owner came over to our table after the meal and was receptive, genuine and thankful for our business. The food was excellent and the unique homemade desert was out of this world! It’s a pleasure to know that some places still take pride in producing a quality product! Customer experience alone puts the Cafe Bombay at an A+ We will be returning.

Unfortunately they haven't reopened their seated area. Have to get the authentic food via a teller-like glass window. Food is good, family run!

This place is authentic Indian. I can't say enough about this place each choice we ordered was delicious. I am impressed.

I loved eating at Cafe Bombay, this family run establishment has a decent length menu with many of my favorite Indian dishes as well as some I have never heard of before. Everything seemed to be made on the premises which is great. The server was helpful with suggestions, but unless you regularly eat spicy food level 7 is a reasonable level to start at as many of the things I ate had more of an after burn than initial spice. I would definitely recommend it!

This was my first time having Indian food and I will totally eat it again. It was so good and so fresh! Not to mention the hospitality the staff showed my friends and I. They are great people and the food is great. If I lived a little closer we would eat there all the time. Next time my husband and I are in the area we would go back!

Yes! Yes! YES! The best Indian Cuisine we've enjoyed TO DATE!!! Immediate Seating, elegant décor, lightly ambient music, attentive & engaged personal service. We had the Curry Shrimp & Crab Goa. Spicy level #5. Amazing flavor and the compliment of strawberry cucumber side salad was the perfect balance. We will be back soon, for another taste adventure! Highly Recommend.

Loved this place since day one. The food is the best if its kind in the Philly area. A group of us would dine in twice a month until a neighboring fire closed down its doors. Glad it reopened.

Once a bud from NYC, a fan of Indian cuisine, asked me to take him to my favorite. He asked for something not on the menu. The chef made it, almond chicken, and my friend said it was the best he ever had.

It was also cool that after a year of not seeing me the chef remembered what I ordered and what fire level I liked.

Excellent food and great staff. My wife and I have eaten inside, and have had great experiences each time. We have taken out as well and never had any issues when we got home. The price is a little high, probably due to a shortage of competing Indian restaurants in the area.

I've been going for years. The family has always been so nice to me! The service was great. The music adds to the atmosphere at a reasonable volume. The aroma from the street hits you before you walk into the place and you know you've made the right choice! They have great vegetarian options as well! The portion is nice, and worth the price.
