Dockside Diner

We visited last Friday and returned today. The food was truly outstanding. My wife adores the chicken salad sandwich, and I tried the burger the first time. However, today I opted for the penne alla vodka with meatballs, and it was absolutely incredible. Hands down, one of the best vodka sauces I've ever tasted.

Finally made it to dockside diner and it was not a disappointment! Super friendly staff and great food. I tried the avocado toast and the sailor omelette- both 10/10. Can’t wait to go back to try lunch or dinner.

First time visiting. Love the old school feel of the place. Food was INCREDIBLE. Don't sleep on the breakfast nachos. Fries were some of the best I've had. Looking forward to coming back again

We came out for breakfast and arrived shortly after they opened. We have driven past many times to know that this place gets packed. And after trying the food, I definitely know why. Service and food were great. The lunch options looked great too. We'll have to try again soon.

Great dinner with new ownership last year they are now open for breakfast lunch and dinner all year on beautiful Long Beach Island. The staff is friendly very family-oriented and the food is fantastic.

Visited in March on a Friday for brunch. No waiting. Great diner coffee. Omelettes came out quick and were delicious. Gets properly crowded in summer but worth the wait.

This morning my husband and I went to Dockside Diner for breakfast. They were busy and full. We sat down at counter and they only had one waitress, one busser/runner and chef. Despite being shorthanded and extremely busy, the staff, service and food that day were incredible. The 3 staff members handled a difficult situation with class, efficiency, hard work, and a warm friendly smile. Kuddos to that staff!!

Whenever I’m not in the mood to make lunch, I just go to the Dockside. Food is always excellent. Services is great. It’s just a super spot. You have to try it if you haven’t been there.

Super enjoyed having breakfast at The dockside diner we had the best server ever I feel so bad I can't remember her name I had the lobster bisque for breakfast and it was to die for best on the island so far. Can't wait to return when I'm back on LBI.

Very Small diner with very good breakfast food. Almost every time I'm in LBI I stop in for breakfast.
As atmosphere goes you gotta like small, tight, but quaint diners.

Delicious! Huge menu and friendly staff. There are tables inside and four or five tables outside that get busy after 8:30am for breakfast. Cinnamon roll pancakes and corned beef hash do not disappoint!

A GEM. Exemplary service. Our waitress Carly was extremely personable and friendly. Food was served in record time and was delicious. Reasonably priced. Will definitely be frequenting this spot.

Nice cozy little diner. Service was cheerful and pleasant. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I have to eat gluten free and our Ethan (our waiter) doubled checked with the chef to make sure my dinner was gluten free. I got the chicken stew with rice and beans it was definitely homemade and delicious. My wife got the squash ravioli in a sage and brown butter sauce. She said it was very light, fresh, and out of this world. My Mother-in-law got the coconut shrimp that she said that they were just perfect.
The place, service, and food was exceptional all at a reasonable price. We are definitely going back.

The best Chicken Salad I ever had. Delicious.

Went there the other night for dinner, 11/17/2023, wife had meatloaf, I had the braciole(sp?). Both were fantastic. In fact the best braciole I ever had, meat was very tender whereas most braciole meat is often a little tuff. The sauce/gravy is excellent! The only thing I would change is they stuff it with a piece of mortadella, where I would rather see a slice of prosciutto instead. Great service and a nice cozy casual place.

Always great breakfasts with good friendly service. Coffee's good, fresh fruit cup delicious, a couple scrambled eggs with cheese and hot toast on the side! Always great meals here!
