With a 5-star rating, this local gem guarantees a fantastic dining experience. From the warm and welcoming staff to the friendly customers, the atmosphere is simply delightful. The food is a true highlight – delicious and incredibly affordable. Every bite feels homemade, and I must highly recommend their chili and the Huevos Rancheros and never forget to ask for their specials. "Kitchen 87" is a definite must-visit!

In the area and our first time to Kitchen87. Got a warm and cheerful welcome and excellent service from Lindsey. Our breakfast dishes were simple (eggs and potatoes and biscuits and gravy) but prepared a notch above. Biscuits and English muffin were made in house and delicious---among the best we've had. The side of corned beef hash was yummy, too. Happy to support the friendly staff, and a restaurant with service excellence. Visit if you're in the area. We will be back.

I love coming here, especially during the week when they first open. Kitchen87 is very welcoming, light hearted atmosphere with the good and simple food. My go to is usually the breakfast burrito or French toast/pancakes - warm, fluffy and hit the spot good. 😋

Wonderful American Diner! Best kept secret in town. You could not tell from the low profile exterior. What a buzz of activities inside. Everyone is friendly n treats you like family. I love and I mean LOVE their chicken and biscuit. It's to die for. They put a mild spicy sauce, secret recipe, gives a kick to the dish. Chicken is crispy outside n soft inside. Wafers are so good too! Soft n chewy with texture, love it! I am very picky about my coffee. At most places, coffee feels watered down n bitter. Not this place! It was ao awesome n strong, I did not have to add any sugar or cream. So good, I had to ask what coffee they used! He was kind n let me take a picture of it. This place is special, uses all different kinds of mugs for coffee n tea n hot chocolate. So cool! If only they could open a branch in my town...

We've never had a bad experience at Kitchen! Food has always been fantastic. The staff and owners are top-notch folks!! Always a welcoming feeling. We love this place!! It's so nice having a gem like this so close!!

My husband took me here for a Valentines Day breakfast. The food was good and our waitress Jordan was great! The staff as a whole was very friendly. Will be back to try the pancakes!

Quickly becoming my breakfast choice place to eat at! The food is tastey! I've only had breakfast every time,, but my grandson enjoyed his grilled cheese and fries off of kids menu! The wait staff very friendly, attentive and happy! Very cheerful place. Last time we were there someone paid our bill!😊😁 So you know I had to pay it forward too! Very good day!😊

I got the kitchen sink sandwich and it was so good. There was no way I could eat it like a normal sandwich though. I had to use a fork and knife. The potatoes it came with were seasoned perfectly. I would definitely give this place a go if you haven't already. The only downside I would say are the hours. Other than that, 10/10.

Such a cute place! Plus great food & service. We had Tom as our waiter. Very friendly, got our order right and fun to chat with. I got the ABC sandwich, which was delicious. Hubby had the ruben, which was juicy & perfectly made. Best sweet potato fries Ive had in ages. This is a great stop for brunch en route to NYC from DC. We will be back.

I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. We were in town for 2 days, went there the first morning with a group of 10, they could not have been nicer getting us seated, the service was extremely friendly, and the food was good. So good that the next morning, while we were all heading out of town, we went back again , different waitress, but again treated like family. Highly recommend the short stack of pancakes, came with banana, strawberry, blueberries and chocolate chips- though they are not short, I couldn't finish. Others got the omlettes, or fresh fruit and oatmeal. While most of the menu is a typical breakfast fare, each day they had several specials, some that were a bit more exotic and would appeal to a foodie, today was a salmon on arugula with a balsamic dressing ( and I think goat cheese ) yesterday was again something off the beaten path, but was great. Several of the party had the corn muffins and loved them. Parking is a challenge since there is no lot, but we gladly walked a few blocks in the rain this morning, it is that good.

Delicious food, fast service, friendly staff and the overheard conversations are to die for. Short Rib sweet potato hash is a great choice for breakfast! English muffins are homemade!

Went here with my friend who came into town to visit me. It was overall good! The prices were great and our waitress was very nice. I loved that the coffee mugs were all different and unique too.

My friend got an omelette and she said it was stuff and very good. I went basic and got some french toast. Food came out quick and it was good!

Would definitely come back. I recommend this place for some good breakfast!

Came on a Sunday morning-short wait around 10am. Got the specials of the day, Corned Beef Hash special and the Southwest Benny special. Absolutely delicious. Can't wait to come back!

The picture is of the Huevos Rancheros and the daily special... a hot roast beef and cheese bread bowl. Both were really good.

Maybe more importantly, it was notable because it felt like a pre-pandemic meal. There was a line of people waiting to be seated, and an energy from the staff that you don't get a lot these days. A lot of people, all moving with purpose, and still able to be friendly and engaging.

The other thing that felt "old-school" is that the pricing hasn't increased unreasonably because they can blame everything on inflation and COVID. Lunch for two under $30 seemed a really reasonable price. It was a really good... really quick... lunch.

Kitchen87 is our absolute favorite breakfast diner in South Jersey. The staff is super friendly, the food is always terrific and there's a tantalizing special on the menu that gets my mouth watering. Also, LOVE the random coffee mugs. Keep it Weird! 💚☕🤤
