Gaffaney's Floral

Gaffaney's is under newer ownership, I think? In any case, I hadn't ordered from them in years, but on a whim decided to stop in and order flowers for a friend's birthday last week.

Though I had not called in an order, the staff was delighted to help me out and assembled a gorgeous arrangement--so nice, in fact, I bought a second arrangement so I could surprise my wife (I hadn't bought her flowers in a while because I'm thoughtless and/or a cheapskate I suppose). Our cat approved (side note: never let your pets sample flowers as most are poisonous!) as he sniffed pretty much each blossom before allowing me to set them back out of reach on the table.

The reaction from both recipients for their respective arrangements was so joyous, I had to come back the next week (today actually) and buy another one for my little sister's birthday. I had a wonderful conversation with one of the shop owners and they were just such nice people to chat with. They even laughed at my dumb quips and rambling commentary, which of course earned them even more stars (can we do ten out of five stars?) in this review.

I'm going to make a habit of buying from them as my primary florist and backup laugh track, going forward!

The good people at Gaffaney's may think they're in the business of crafting floral arrangements, but really they deliver smiles.

Last December I called Gaffaney’s Floral to order flowers for my Mom (who lives in a care center 680+ miles away from me). The florist recommended a waterless Amaryllis. I ordered the waterless Amaryllis, which bloomed (with 2 bud stems) before Christmas. The Amaryllis is now growing another bud stem. I received excellent service from Gaffaney’s Floral. Thank you Gaffaney’s Floral for the great recommendation!

I wanted to say that I haven't received this level of customer service in a long time. My mother's birthday was yesterday and she is housebound due to health issues and Covid. My original order with another company was cancelled with no explanation. I call googled for florists in Dickinson and came across this gem. The gentleman I dealt with took empathy while explaining my situation and told me he could get something to her in 5 minutes. The price was great and he even sent me pictures of the item and when he delivered to my mother. Thank for making her day and going above and beyond for me.

Gaffney's ROCKS! Two other florists in Dickinson turned down my order! Very friendly girl answering phone said she was just getting ready to call me back after lines were busy when I called the first time and couldn't get through - a call back!! Quick, convenient, friendly, above & beyond helpful! Great experience!

Been the buyer and recipient of many arrangements from Gaffney's and all I can say is WOW. Best customer service of all the floral shops in town. If they make a mistake, which rarely happens, they are very quick to make it right. Always friendly. Flowers are always fresh. My go to florist! Keep up the great work. :)

04-12-18: I ordered a birthday balloon arrangement for my friend's sister, who lives in Dickinson (my friend and I are from Yankton, SD). Our phone contact and store employee was Jason, who was very polite and helpful. I want to commend him for his great service! Bless you, Jason!

I ordered flowers on the 23rd to be delivered on the 24th.for a sudden loss for my sister and her husband's family. I live in Texas and she is in Dickinson so I was a little worried that they may be late and not as pretty as the picture. Not only were they on time but they were beautiful. Everyone at the service asked were they came from. They also placed them on the pedistal with the urn. Thank you so much for going over and above.

I had purchased an arrangement for a friend. It was an easy process and I was able give some parameters as to what I wanted. My expectations were met and possibly exceeded. It was a more pricey than the cheap arrangements at the grocery store but I didn't remove a star in the rating as their customer service and the quality made up for the higher prices.

Very friendly people, willing to help in any way they can. Had funeral in Wyoming they found a place close to where funeral was and had flowers sent in just a few days.

Went in to get flowers for my wife. Was looking at pre-made bouquets, lady offered to let me pick which flowers I wanted and make a bouquet out of them for same price as the pre-made bouquets.

Beautiful flowers

The customer service on the phone order was excellent and that is why I gave 2 stars but the 2-flower bouquet I specially ordered did not meet my expectations. I ordered Red Roses and sunflower bouquet to find out they add white flowers as a filler and the 2nd bouquet I could have bought from the grocery store and put into a vase myself. I know 200.00 for both arrangements may or may not seem like must today but I really had higher expectations then what I saw. REALLY DISAPPOINTED.
