Immanuel Baptist Church

Pastor Greg dedicated our baby to the lord...on his free time on a Saturday morning, was patient with us and our hectic family, said the most beautiful words, made us feel like we have been members of the church our whole lives, and honored us with his calming, peaceful, loving presence. We were also given a helping hand basket full of baby toys, clothes, books, a handmade quilt, and LOVE. If I still lived in the area, I'd want to go to that service every week! I'm eternally grateful for everything Pastor Greg and his wonderful family and congregation did for us. It really impacted everyone in such a positive way. I'm blessed to have gotten to share our experience with pastor Greg!

Mrs.Evelyn Cox was my grandmother and when I was old enough to walk she told me that she had to go teach the children about God and I was only 2 or three when I remember the sun shining through the windows in the thin buildings in back of the big church. I am 61 now and my world is a very lonely one because my family were the last friends I had and I lost my last friend 22 years ago. I am married to a wonderful woman! But I have felt alone for the last 22 years. My family members never went to the church again after grandmother was taken by a slow and painful death. But if at all possible, I would like very much to be happy again by walking with God again! And having friends once again. My uncle's and I have been less than good and I am the only one left ,who felt so much joy from a day almost 60 years ago! I've changed into a better man since the years in between then and now. I'm just not sure if I can feel accepted by the people of the church I was dragged away from as a child. God bless you and guide you 🙏 Amen. See you on your next sandwich pickup ,pastor! It's been a olong that I have in this church. My aunt whom was a member of this church for many years. Her name was Mrs. Caroline Uhl. She passed 35 years ago. I remembered Reverend Harry Phul. There were others she knew as well. She was a member of vacation Bible school. They're were a great many of people who were members too.

A warm, welcoming church filled with God’s truth, wisdom, knowledge and understanding. If you are looking for any of the above, Emmanuel Baptist Church is worth checking out in my book. The start of my journey in knowing Jesus Christ as my savior began at Emmanuel many years ago. I thank God for the privilege!!!

A house that God built. So much fellowship and all based on the word of God. No one is stranger there, everyone is a son or daughter of the most high God. We love it, and it loves us! KINDNESS!

Praising God and having fellowship with the Immanuel. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. - may GOD bless Immanuel.
