Silver Lake Nature Center

Silver Lake Nature Center is a great combination nature area and park. They have some lovely trails through the surrounding forest and wetlands. There is a nature center that you can walk through or rent out. There is a large field area with a pavilion and parking. Overall it's just a really nice place.

I'm obsessed with this place it's absolutely gorgeous and clean. I come here all the time. They have miles of trails, you could spend hours walking around. At every twist and turn, it's more beautiful than the last. It's easily 5 stars from me. 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great little nature preserve around a small lake. Very well marked trails. Plenty of nature and wildlife to explore. I like to bring my dog and do the whole loop. Also an awesome place to take pictures and learn about locat flora and fauna. Plenty of parking. Easy access. Very easy hiking/walking trails.

Great, well maintained paths for an easy walk. I like to use our local nature centers as training hikes while my kids are little. They aren’t strenuous but they offer enough variety to keep us interested and walking around for at least an hour. The visitors center has a small animal exhibit. The highlight is obviously the Turtle Tunnel!

The Silver Lake Park and Nature Center is located in Bucks County, PA. This amazing place is situated on almost 500 acres. Available activities include Boating, Fishing, Hiking, Nature Watching, Picnicking , Playgrounds and More! The park is open from dusk to dawn. There is also a nature center, with Hands-on Exhibits, Auditorium, Amphitheater and an  amazing “demo-model” of an Earthship adjacent to the 7 Miles of Walking Trails and beautiful lake.

Great trails to go walking, running or bike riding. Always see deer, frogs, squirrels, snakes, or birds. It's not to big or to small its just perfect. Spotting the painted rocks that the local artists lay around are always a pleasure to find! Great place to have a picnic. I love this Park!

Wonderful place to visit and enjoy. By yourself, with friends and family….. go inside the nature center and be greeted by nice people who will help with any questions and look around , go for a walk around the location into the trails. Get some fresh air and lower the stress of the busy life!

Beautiful park, kind staff, lovely animals

My boyfriend and I took our dogs on a 2 1/2 hour walk here and it was absolutely beautiful! He grew up in the area and made several comments about how much has been changed for the better about the park. It had really nice walkways built for the paths and everything is really well kept! The nature here is stunning and there are nice long trails that are well marked so you can find your way. I loved it here and plan to be back soon!

This beautiful majestic place never disappoints. It's a four season beautiful park. Lovingly maintained with boardwalks, edged trails, and surprises around every corner. Several small family oriented trails easy to follow. And for the adventurous I like to go a little deeper into the woods a nice trail around the lake that goes through the woods with very little elevation. Fabulous views of the lake. This is my go-to last minute need time for reflection back to nature inviting place. Free parking at the nature center and if that park. The park also I covered picnic area and a few gazebos. You can hike, bike, kayak, fish, picnic, enjoy all of nature's beauty.

It was way better than I thought. Nice clean trails, a lot of shade, its a very big park. The benches are here and there, you can sit down and relax. You can bring your dog. There are some picnic tables as well, so you can have a nice break. I loved it.

This place is awesome! Super well-taken-care of, very biodiverse, and peaceful. There are bathrooms, ample parking, a spot overlooking the lake, and a visitors center.
I saw frogs, birds of prey, dragonflies, and a beaver den. Would recommend to bring kids, dogs, or for a solitary walk.

A great trail, great for kids as well as adults. There's shorter trails, and longer trails. Beautiful, very clean, and the visitor center has knowledgeable friendly staff. Will continue to go.

What a gem! Beautiful boardwalk, well maintained trails, a new observation deck. I highly recommend going around sunset to see the birds. There's fishing here and you can go on your kayak and canoe too.

If you are looking for a place to have a birthday party, Silver Lake Nature Center is definitely worth checking out. We just had a our daughter's 6th birthday party there, and all of the kids had a great time. The staff is AMAZING. The kids come away with having an educational experience that is lots of fun.

Beautiful place to relax and go for a walk or ride a bike. Walk your dog or bird watch. They also have several activity events to participate in.

We love the Silver Lake Nature Center! It's a great spot to go with kids and there's interesting exhibits, a live turtle, and trails around Silver Lake to go explore that are well kept. A community gem!

Nice park to run or bike at. They have "fit stations" along the path for interval training. There's a nice observation deck overlooking the late, amphitheaters, and a playground.
