Beautiful cemetery. Strict, but reasonable rules when it comes to decorations on graves or crypts, but that's what keeps the cemetery so beautiful. Very serene location. Grounds crew and staff are very caring and super helpful.

Rip JOE PASS 🍀🎵🙏🎶🍀
Joe Pass (born Joseph Anthony Jacobi Passalaqua; January 13, 1929 – May 23, 1994) was an American jazz guitarist of Sicilian descent. He is considered one of the greatest jazz guitarists of the 20th century.
He created possibilities for jazz guitar through his style of chord-melody, his knowledge of chord inversions and progressions, and his use of walking basslines and counterpoint during improvisation. Pass worked often with pianist Oscar Peterson and vocalist Ella Fitzgerald.Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Joe Pass was the son of Mariano Passalaqua, a Sicilian-born steel mill worker. He was raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He received his first guitar, a Harmony, on his ninth birthday. His father recognized early that his son had "a little something happening" and pushed him to learn tunes by ear, practice scales, play pieces written for other instruments, and to fill in the space between the notes of the melody.

As early as 14, Pass started getting jobs performing. He played with bands led by Tony Pastor and Charlie Barnet, honing his guitar skills while learning about the music business. He began traveling with small jazz groups and moved from Pennsylvania to New York City. In a few years, he developed a heroin addiction and spent much of the 1950s in prison. He emerged from addiction through a two-and-a-half-year stay in the Synanon rehabilitation program. During that time he "didn't do a lot of playing".
In 1962 he recorded Sounds of Synanon. Around this time he received his trademark Gibson ES-175 guitar as a gift, which he used on tours and records for many years...

Very nice, calm, clean, and peaceful place. One can visit a beloved relative who passed away here, and feel at peace.

I am extremely disappointed and upset. I lost my father less than 2 months ago. I went to visit his grave just past 5:30 after work. It was fully sunny out, but all gates were closed! I think it is horrible when a working person cannot visit a loved ones resting place during the week because they are working. The only reason I gave any stars is because the place is well kept. But I really wanted to give no stars!

The name implies a service that they do not deliver on.

Resurrection cemetery has pages of restrictions. Most of which are senseless muscle flexing. I could accept this if the grounds were well kept but there not. The grass is not mowed often enough and the garbage cans are typically overflowing. A very bad image for the Catholic faith.
I won’t be using Resurrection in the future nor will any of my family members.

NO RESPECT FOR THE LIVING. This cemetery is far too strict. If you leave anything but flowers, they will throw it all away. Even with flowers you are not safe. My Sister in Law bought a $100 flower cake for my Brother's 40th birthday. It was made only of flowers and was of small size. She put it over his existing flowers and they took it off the grave and it ended up on a desk inside. It was a tremendous disrespect to my Brother and my family. They are so very inconsiderate and callous here. Please consider a cemetery where your grief can be expressed and respected. Poor upkeep. My brother past 3 years ago and there are dirt patches all over the grave. The grass is patchy throughout and they steam roll over the graves. The woman inside is on a power trip and does not care for you or the dead.

The person in the office who initially answered the phone today spoke very rapidly and I found it difficult to understand what she was saying. I had to ask her to repeat parts of what she said. When I was connected to a manager, he merely said "hello" and did not identify himself by name or position. I had to ask him whether he was a manager. I hope telephonic communications for this organization can be improved. First impressions are important.
