Regal Tigard

I absolutely love the look of this theater. I feel like I'm going back in time. Their popcorn flavor tops other theaters. It's sadly usually pretty quiet that it seems that not many people go here but great if you want a quiet theater with only a few others groups of people in it. I pray it gets more traction though, it's a beautiful setting walking through the old style lit up halls. Gives me a child-like joy every time I walk in.

Nice theater, outside looks vintage. Lots of neon lights. Sad regal had to change to Pepsi products but Pepsi zero is ok enough in a kids pack for a good movie. I treated myself to a valentines movie, Magic Mike, I know, so cliche for the day. Very entertaining though, I love good dance routines and you don't see those too frequently these days. Employees are nice and efficient. Didn't skimp on the butter which is awesome! I'll be back for the next movie I want to see. 🍿

It’s finally nice to be going back out to the movies!

Our local Tigard Regal is nice because it has a huge abundance of parking. And it does not share its lot with any other businesses.
The flip side is that walking from your vehicle you feel a little isolated and the exterior could use a bit of a makeover.

But once you enter you know you made the right choice!
The whole theater has a rocking art-deco neon-light vibe!

And the sound and projection quality is A+!!!

P.S. If you’re going to see Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi then definitely see it in 3D! IT WAS PHENOMENAL!!!

My experience was wonderful. The staff were professional and kind. The attendant even asked how i thought the movie was at the end and engaged in conversation with me. It was unexpected and it made me smile. The theater and seats were clean. The atmosphere was top notch! It was a fun way to end my day.

What a fine theater! I loved how this place was set up, from the unique and somehow nostalgic neon lights which adorned the majority of interior spaces with circular color, to the "original" theater layout. I say original because it seems like it has not been updated to be like all of the other, lesser capacity, seemingly more exclusive theaters which are super common nowadays. Basically, I didn't have to reserve seats, there were more seats than most other theaters, and it was just more like the movie theaters that I grew up enjoying. I loved it, and i will be going back for that feeling and that environment. However, we saw Dune tonight, and the visual and audio experience that is that movie was supreme. The screen and sound system seem to have been updated, which I very much dig. In essence, this is a movie theater which all at once captured a feeling of familiarity comfort, and provided an exceptional movie-watching experience. And the popcorn was better than pretty much any other theater popcorn I've had, and I'm not altogether sure why. I will most definitely be returning!

Ok so yo.... this theater is balller!! It has neon lighting inside so it feels ya know a lil retro!! And it’s cheaper than regal Bridgeport cinema!! So ya,5 stars. Best theatre ever

Maybe not the fanciest theater in Portland, but it's close to my house, popcorn is good, they do Regal Unlimited, and the staff is always helpful and kind. Also, it's often mostly empty, which is great with or without a pandemic! My go to theater.

I love this cinema! It's a little retro, but reminds me of going to movies as a kid. It's usually very quiet, which I enjoy because it's almost like having a private theater. All the comments about outdated seats and decor - sure if that's what you're looking for, maybe not your spot; but for a comfortable, fun, inexpensive (they have discount days) night out in the neighborhood it's great.

Had a great customer service experience with the manager on a night shift. My family and I had very disruptive viewers in our theater and the manager handled our less than satisfactory movie experience with ease. This is why we will return to this movie theater.

One of the cleanest Regals I have seen.. The best part is there is ample light in the waiting area so it helps a lot being in Portland.
I believe they are under staffed.
But the staff there is very helpful and polite

Ample of parking and there is never traffic on the route.
The seats are comfortable. Enough leg room..

Always clean which I appreciate. I like that you can purchase your tickets ahead of time and reserve your seats. Love the trivia movie feature!

Update: the larger seating theaters do not have the screen elevated on the facing wall, but instead low, to make for a larger image. With the old-school gently tilted floor seating, a tall person in front of you will likely block part if your view. Everything is is still great!

Excellent movie theater! If you like busy crowds go on Tuesday were the ticket is cheaper. I don't like big crowds, so I like to go late at night. I love this regal because the theater is very well kept up the sound quality is amazing and the picture is perfect every time. The service is great as well. There is no stadium seating here so if you go to a movie that is crowded good luck. There is plenty of parking outside. Also if you are not hungry for popcorn or nachos there is a subway next to it. This regal always has the latest and best movies. I highly recommend this Regal!

This is my theater of choice because there's always plenty of parking and they offer discount Tuesdays, unlike most theaters. I get a free ticket about every 10 movies, which is always nice. The seats are comfortable and the audio quality is on point.

Theater is clean and friendly staff. I love that its not ever really packed and plenty of parking. Tuesdays are the value days and I tend to avoid it because its so crowded. I have the regal unlimited app so I go whenever I want for $20 a month, I'm a movie junky and go at least 2x a week to multiple locations, this one of my top 3 favorite theaters.

Been awhile since I've been to the movies, but I was pleased with the experience here. Forgot how expensive it is to come, but gotta make money some how! Great theater , and friendly staff. The rooms are decent, and chairs are comfortable.

If you want a quality experience but don't want to fight the crowds this is the ideal theater. The masses flood to the new theaters and forget about this smaller venue--but this is the real deal. Lots of parking, close to restaurants if you want a quick dinner, and almost always a good seat for the taking.

I have been going to this theater since the 90's. I love the fact that they have discount Tuesdays and discounted movies during the summer season for kids and adults. I don't like crowds either. There is plenty of parking and easy to get to by foot or by bus. Its right off 99W. I am very happy that it is still going strong!

They have plenty of screens, 2d and 3d movies, a cheap night, plenty of parking and they keep updating services and concessions. The new assigned seating is nice but takes a few tries to get used to it, (we put ourselves right in front of somebody else when the theater was basically empty, not cool).

This place is hidden by the walmart and that's likely why it seemed so empty! There's no other possible reason. The food was hot, fresh and yummy. The theatre was clean with good picture and sound, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back!
