Cape cottage inn

We absolutely loved our stay and will be returning over the summer. Stayed here since was only 10 minutes from downtown Cape May and can easily take a drive into town or an uber. Stayed in the queen cottage and everything was very clean and put together when we arrived. Little to no outside noise besides the occasional truck. When we entered our cabin they had even turned on the heat for us before we arrived. Best trip ever!

We loved our stay. The room had everything needed and was super adorable. The staff made great suggestions for local places and the location was the perfect distance for everything. We would definitely stay there again. Only 2 suggestions...the TV is not on the wall across from the bed. This means it's not super comfortable to watch TV from bed. Not a big deal since mostly we would just have news on in the morning as we got ready. Second is the counter space in the bathroom. If you are a lady that likes to spread out your things to do your make up this will not happen in the cottages. I managed fine as I do not often apply any heat to my hair and make up is minimal. Still...good info to have. 😀

Great place to stay! Beautiful rooms, grounds, and pool. Everything is well maintained and very clean. Staff are super friendly. Mark, the manager, was incredibly nice and helpful. He gave us suggestions for breakfast and dolphin watching spots. Even drove back to help me get water from the office after it closed so I wouldn't have to go to the store! We had a wonderful experience here absolute 10/10!

We stayed for one night on the 2nd fl main building. The room was oversized with two King beds and very clean, warm and welcoming. Comfortable pillows and mattress! Next morning we were checking out and Faith, the Concierge, told us all about the cottages and how the new owners redid the property and the grounds. We walked with her to a path where there were the most adorable, themed, unique cottages each with a large front porch, two Adirondack chairs and a small table/chairs set. There was a pathway with lovely grounds all hidden behind the larger Inn—so very private. The outdoor pool was closed but the stonework was beautiful. Faith spoke with such a passion for the Cottages even giving us a peak into a few with vacancies. We will definitely be returning in the summertime to stay in one of these cottages and swim in this inviting, rustic pool!!

This is a hidden gem! The rooms are beautiful, clean and roomy. Its just minuets form Cape May and convenient to anywhere you need to go. There is a refrigerator w small top freezer that works great. The pool is spotless and enjoyable. The grounds are garden like and quiet, with paths surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants. The staff could not be more helpful. Definitely going back!!

We stayed in the main motel, the rooms were nicely renovated and comfortable. Staff was friendly and check in/out was a breeze. It's about a 10 minute drive to the beach, which makes this stay more budget friendly than staying downtown, but the drive is super easy and we had no trouble finding parking. It was also super accessible to other beach towns. I would stay here again, and I recommend it to anyone interested!

We recently stayed at the Cape Cottage Inn for a quick 3 day, 2 night getaway. I have spent a considerable amount of time in Cape May and really loved the look of the new cottages added during the rebuild. I am so glad I decided to book here.

We stayed in Cottage #8, Sandpiper Cottage. The rooms are exactly how they look in the website photos. Cozy bed, couch, breakfast table and outdoor Adirondack chairs and bistro table. The tub floor needs a bit of reinforcement as it's super creaky but not a big issue. The kitchenette is so convenient - microwave, fridge/freezer, cooktop, pantry, fully equipped with all the cooking essentials. Every detail was noticed by us.

Check-in was super simple. We felt welcome immediately and even had a couple special requests that were accommodated without any trouble at all.

The pool was wonderful! So many entry points and ledges to relax, a bathroom, MANY tables and loungers, the rock waterfall wall is great because it blocks out the road noise well. Grounds are well maintained and clean, plenty of parking, AC worked GREAT (quiet) - just overall great.

The only complaint I have is both nights, we had 2 different sets noisy neighbors who were outside pretty late not taking into consideration that there were other guests in the cottages trying to sleep. Enforcement of the quiet hours is tough to navigate - it's sad that common courtesy has gone by the wayside; certainly not the hotels fault.

I would highly recommend staying at the cottages and we will most certainly be back. Thank you for a GREAT experience!

Stayed there the first week of August for a girls trip. The rooms were updated and very clean. The pool was beautiful and the grounds were impeccably landscaped with gorgeous flowers and rocks. The manager was very cool too. I would definitely stay again.

This place was very comfortable. It was relaxing and very enjoyable. Me and my fiance really enjoyed our stay here. The room looked great. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The pool was very relaxing. Office staff was very welcoming. I will definitely be back soon.

Great spot! Spacious, lovely rooms with comfortable beds. Ac works great. Shower is hot. The other guests respected the quiet hours (from 9am-9pm). The staff at this cottage was nice & let me use the office microwave to heat up some food. Is located a 10 minute drive from Wildwood, and maybe 5-10 minutes away from Cape May Beach! I really liked the Cape May Winery which is only a 3 min drive away as well. No Cons to staying here. We will be back!

We absolutely loved our experience here! Mark, the manager, is incredibly helpful and accommodating! He was so sweet and the rooms and grounds are meticulously clean! The beds are super comfortable and all rooms are so clean and we'll maintained! We love it here and will be back mtiple times a year!

Traveled with my family on a vacation to Cape May. Rooms were very clean, location was close to the beaches, lighthouse and downtown Cape May. Mark was very kind and helpful during our stay. We loved the pool! I’m very thankful we got to stay here and would sincerely recommend to others looking for a good place to stay at a reasonable price.

I saw someone write “hidden gem” in another review and that’s exactly what this place is. The cottages are beautiful, clean and spacious. Pool area is also beautiful. Everything is well kept and maintained. The perfect getaway spot.

Stayed in a cottage which was very charming. The grounds are obviously done as a labor of love by a passionate gardener. Pool is clean and relaxing. Cottage was clean and cozy with it's own little porch and Adirondack chairs.

The workers are very attentive to their guests. The areas are also very well kept and clean all throughout. Nice peaceful spot to stay, would love to come back again!

For a quick overnighter and we were running very late, the room was great. The lights were on in the room and AC ready when we got there it was perfect. Convenient location.

We stayed in the deluxe family cottage. The staff was super nice and helpful. They went above and beyond. The cottage was so nice. Very clean and well maintained.

My family and I had an absolutely amazing time at cabin city motel. Their under new management in 2014 and making a lot of fantastic upgrades in appearance and service. The new owner's are friendly and courteous with a fresh coffee in the office if you want some ,the rooms are clean ,comfortable and affordable with cable and available wifi. Their chairs and tables with umbrellas help you relax as they keep the sun off you while you use the built in bar - b - q's to make dinner as you lounge around the deepest in ground pool in the county. We're so happy to have found this great place for us to spend our summer's. Give them a call and ask about their free shuttle to the beach. You'll be pleased you did. ♡♢♡♢♡

Cape Cottage Inn is very nice and I enjoyed my stay there. I would definitely stay there again.
