Jayson and his staff took excellent care of my family and gave my mother an absolutely GORGEOUS funeral! There was nothing they didn't think of. Everything was executed perfectly. All we literally had to do was show up. We are so grateful my mother got the funeral she deserved. Thank you again!

A funeral is an unwanted but unavoidable event, and there is no one better than Jayson Choi to give your loved ones the send-off that they deserve. From the moment I called Jayson, to the in-person meeting, to the actual ceremony, Jayson was very responsive and provided me the guidance I needed. During our in-person meeting, he put the family at ease and temporarily made us forget that we were there to plan a really sad event. Most importantly, I will forever be grateful that he and the team took such wonderful care of my mom and gave her a beautiful send-off.

Jayson (owner) and Kelly (wife of Jayson) of Choi Funeral Home were very kind, professional and patient in helping us get through this difficult time. They were prompt in all their responses, clear in explaining processes and made sure all our paper work was completed with ease. We chose to do direct cremation, which was done within three days - Saturday to Monday - so they even work over the weekend. Their facility is set up for Buddhism beliefs and ceremony, however they are open to all religions. The facility is very clean. They are able to conduct business in Cantonese, some Mandarin and English. I would recommend their services to other friends.

Located in Chinatown, Choi Funeral Home is exactly what my family and I were looking for. During the most difficult time, Jayson, the funeral director, was so knowledgeable and patient. Every question was answered and the personalized urns are such a nice touch, they work with you to make sure every detail is how your family would like it.

We had no idea where to begin, and they walked us through each part. Furthermore, after researching the process I realized finding services and plots was more difficult than expected. However, Choi Funeral Homes provided us the ease of a single solution for both funeral services and finding the right plot. We appreciate the compassion you showed our family during this difficult time. Hopefully, we will not need your services anytime soon, but it is needed again I know we will be in good hands.

I am so pleased that I was referred by a community leader to Jayson Choi when my mother was very ill. He personally visited my mother when she was in hospice several times, and talked to her to ease her fear of dying. Jayson did an amazing job for my mother's funeral. I am the sole person to make all the decisions, and it was an overwhelming task. He let me pick out what I wanted for a traditional Buddhist ceremony, and handled everything for me. Jayson did everything from A to Z. He was a true gentleman and my mother received the best treatment possible. Thank you Jayson.

Mr. Jayson Choi recently handled my father's funeral service. He is very knowledgeable, diligent, and has a great sense of humor which helped ease some of the tension throughout the entire process. Jayson was able to swiftly arrange for pick up and transport of my father when he passed from Maryland to Philadelphia, the service in Philadelphia, and then burial in New Jersey. He even went above and beyond when he went with my mother and I to look at and pick out the gravesite in New Jersey.

Jayson was also very willing to answer any questions my mother, who only speaks Cantonese, had and ease some of her worries as well as any questions I had in English at any time of day. My mother wanted a traditional Chinese funeral for my father and Jayson as well as all his amazing staff were able to handle everything for us from what to do, what to say, the incense, food offerings, joss paper, etc. They were all extremely professional, patient, and helpful which was much appreciated in such difficult times. It truly was such a relief knowing that Jayson and all his staff were providing my father with a proper Chinese funeral.

Overall, we were satisfied with the service provided by Choi Funeral Home and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a funeral home honoring Asian customs and traditions. Jayson and all his staff were genuinely a pleasure to work with.

Jayson Choi, the funeral director of Choi Funeral Home, was outstanding. We are from Lancaster county, and he was able to promptly arrange for all services to be in Philadelphia and burial back to Lancaster. His communication was amazing; he was open to answering the millions of questions we had as we wanted a traditional Chinese funeral for my mother. He provided everything such as joss paper, incense, food, etc. The service was set up beautifully and his wonderful staff members Andrew, Victoria, and Frank were tremendously helpful instructing my sister and I what to do as far as bowing, what to say, when to burn joss paper, etc.

Any questions my extended family had Jayson was also willing to speak to them. He speaks English, Chinese, and Vietnamese! My aunt and uncle who only speak Chinese (Cantonese) were able to ask all the specific questions they had. He treated us like family and that meant a lot to all of us.

When Jayson agreed to work with my family a weight was lifted off my shoulders knowing he would do everything right for my mom. She would of been really happy.

I would recommend him to everyone I know that is Buddhist, Chinese, Vietnamese, or anyone that needs a friendly, patient, and caring funeral director in Pennsylvania. He gave us a sense of ease during an extremely difficult time for my family. I would give him a 100 star review if I could!

An excellent funeral home, Jayson and his staff are exceptional. He provides both Christian and Buddhist traditional funeral ceremonies. His pricing is extremely fair and he doesn't pressure you at all with selections. Other funeral homes I went to in Philly tried to pressure me into buying the most expensive casket and other effects, but Jayson actually left the room to let me make my selections in private with my family.

From the bottom of my heart, my family and I are thankful for Jayson and his services. Without a doubt we made the right choice by selecting him.
