The trail was like walking in fields of gold.....very beautiful and relaxing on a cool day. We were the only car there so had the whole trial to ourselves. The trail is grass so could be hard to walk through if high.

If you're a history buff, there is also buildings and a mill you can visit to learn about the Waln family.

Absolutely loved the older buildings, the staff was very knowledgeable and eager to inform. The site is well maintained in very good condition. Parking is a dirt lot, some of the structures had demonstrations going on. The restrooms were very clean. Lots to see.
The trails are hard dirt. There's a well appointed map available. The scenery is also gorgeous.

Was a nice area, self guided tour. Dogs must be on a leash as we found out. Overall good people and pretty historical site.

It's a lovely place to take a walk or a quick jog. Nice scenery and it's nicely maintained. My wife and I like to stop and watch the horses on the farms in the area too.

It was a beautiful day for a visit to Walnford. It is well maintained with Park Ranger on duty. Bathrooms are open and the Barn Swallows are in residence in their usual place. Not crowded....very easy to socially distanced....peaceful.

Very smart beautiful historic site! Smells old and full of interesting information. Part of the women's heritage trail. Lots of outdoor space and family friendly. Clean and nice restrooms.

A lovely place. Monmouth County takes great care of their section of the Crosswicks Creek Greenway. Walnford is a nicely preserved Mill town and boasts the oldest standing pre-revolutionary house in the county.

Great history this place at a time when women were oppressed.

The woman owner of this place ran and managed it for over 30 years.
