Columbus Baptist Church

I have been attending CBC for the past 10 years. Before I started attending, the word “church” held a negative connotation for me because of a prior experience with a different church. However, as soon as I walked through the doors of Columbus Baptist Church, I knew I found my spiritual family. Everyone is so welcoming and loving. My faith and knowledge of the Bible has grown immensely in the past 10 years and it’s because of the sound teaching of this Church. They stand for Truth. I have since found my fiancé here and I have made so many friendships with so many people here, Young and old alike. It’s a wonderful place to worship our Lord!

Caring and loving people. Sermons are understandable and relevant. A place where I can grow in my faith and knowledge of God. I have been coming here since 2000. I actually did a google search for churches when I was new in the area. We came because it is only 5 miles from our house and we never left. I met sincere, honest, nonjudgemental people who understand we are all sinners saved by grace.

Visited today. I enjoyed the worship and especially the prayer time. There was a definite sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and people who had needs. There was a guest speaker today and he gave an excellent message I was very happy after I left the church and I could say that I felt a great peace after I left. The Pastor was very accessible and and took the time to speak with me .

Wonderful fellowship, great home church! Every week, Pastor John speaks the word powerfully and truthfully. There is no hidden meaning in his teachings, no false interpretation of the word. You can trust that when you attend, you will hear what you're meant to hear in the context of its time and how to easily apply it to your life.

I never felt a home like i did when i was here. I had to move and my brother Paul Collins said I could hear Sundays service but I don't know how or where to go. I was on this site and to See Pastor John I broke into tears. If anyone can tell me how to get his sermon I would be so grateful.

This is the church I was baptized at. I miss it and Pastor John's preaching. If you are in this area , then I highly recommend you attend. Living in Lancaster, PA makes for too long of a drive for me, but I hope to visit again soon. God Bless You All.

We love the pastor. There is a family feeling. The music is great! The children's program is fun and educational. All staff have been through background checks.

Pastor is friendly and accessible. Prayer time demonstrated a real sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. People were friendly. Message was excellent.

Wonderful venue for fellowship. The Christian Artists who pass through the doors and perform on stage are inspiring as well as talented. A must stop anytime you are in the area.

John is a great pastor. He preaches the Word of God. Great lively service! Excellent choral work!
