King George II Inn

Stopped by King George on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and was served by Charlie, he is the best serve ever. It was our first time there and the co owner stopped by to check in which was also nice. The service here is incredible. Charlie knew what we needed before we could ask. I would revisit king George again and again.
The food was also good. The calamari - delicious. The Kobe burger was perfect and the chicken club sandwich was really good as well. We had a great experience at King George - 10/10

This is our 3rd Thanksgiving at King George. We love it. The Thanksgiving meal is great. The turkey is the moist! Its a really nice time. The other items on menu are so good as well. There food is exceptional. Ceasar salad was great. My sister loved the pork chop and my aunt loved the salmon dish. Its a win every year! The apps are great as well. We have tried almost them all. They also have a kids menu as well!

The food was phenomenal. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the delicious steak and potatoes I enjoyed there 2 days ago. The service was beyond excellent. I truly had no complaints! Its right on the water (Delaware River) which just enhanced an already amazing experience. I starting eating so quickly that didnt get a pic of my steak but it was outstanding! Cooked perfectly. I highly highly recommend this place. And you can check my reviews…I don’t do that often! Make the reservation!

The outdoor seating is beautiful, with views of the river and Bristol Lions Park. Our server was attentive and helpful.

I got the lobster and shrimp BLT sandwich with homemade chips. It tasted as good as it sounds! The sandwich was PACKED full of fresh lobster and shrimp, and the chips were served warm (most likely made to order).

After dinner we enjoyed cheesecake and drinks while soaking in the beautiful weather and wonderful atmosphere.

What a great place to eat, with delicious food and good service! A little pricey, but you get what you pay for here no doubt. Highly recommended!

Right on the Delaware river and in fact you can see across the river to Burlington Island. Ask for upstairs window seating. The service is impeccable and the Atmosphere will make you want to return again and again. The city of Bristol is a cute little town with a walk-around main drag called Mill Street.

So for starters, the service is amazing. You know when you go to a restaurant as the server is really nice but it's not genuine?... This is not that. Our servers were so attentive and exuded a kind of warmth... And the food! We started with the Butternut Squash Flatbread with arugula and a balsamic glaze and let me tell you... The explosion 💥 of flavors was eye-opening! And the ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender with a mildly-spicy BBQ sauce. And then there was the prime rib... yum! We also finished the meal with some super-tasty ice cream and sorbet (vanilla, salted caramel, and raspberry sorbet) and coffee that rounded out the meal nicely. And the value was really great, too. All of that for under $100. Can't be beat. Definitely coming back!

We had our wedding reception here and it was everything we could have asked for. And the location on the water was excellent for our pictures. The food is absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly attentive and so kind. They made sure me and my husband had everything we needed the whole night along with our guests. Both owners were very nice, Bruce stopped in with some kind words and Rob was a pleasure to work with arranging everything.

I had the distinct honor & pleasure of performing with the Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band "The Caribbean Chillers" the last week of July at the Riverside Theater in Historic downtown Bristol. My group had a least one meal there almost everyday we were in town once we found out what a fantastic place it is. As a history buff, I was totally enamored with the place and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, atmosphere and historic plaques and photos. My favorites were the Lobster Bisque and the Tavern Burger. The management and staff were top pros. Special thanks to Lorraine, our wonderful first server, who ensured we would be back! Oh, did I mention THE VIEW??

Food and service is always good. Great view of the Delaware River as you feel the history of Bristol. The drink menu is always updated to reflect the season. I have not been disappointed with any meal or drink choices. For inside dining I enjoy the historic bar area having the all wood bar as it serves modern allagash white. If the season is right, outdoor dinner is the clear choice to experience food and views.

I had a lovely early dinner by myself looking out at the water.... To top it off I had the most delicious food. Wedge salad was above and beyond and the French onion soup also very lovely.

Okay this place has such history and you can feel it when you walk in. The food is fantastic and tastes great every time we come here ( its our most frequented spot) as we love to bring our dog in the summertime cause they allow well behaved pups to sit and eat here bit only outside, this place has a great view of the Delaware river an added bonus to an awesome place already. Crab dip is my favourite appetizer but they are all really good. The main meals are fantastic as well also recently have some new additions to the menu i have had some of them they are very tasty as well. The staff are hard working and the owners care a lot about them and guests you’ll find them greeting people from time to time and always have a smile. Enjoy!

Great restaurant with a view of the river. Plenty of rooms for an intimate dinner, small groups or large groups. The outdoors seating is great during warm weather. Had dinner on the 2nd floor with a view of the river. Appetizers were perfect. Had the shrimp wrapped with bacon. The cheese bread is a must! Surf & turf as well as the prime rib, delicious. Servers were very attentive. Even the co-owner Bruce stopped by to say hello. Have been here before and will definitely be back with more friends.

I had my wedding at king George inn and it was absolutely perfect! We comfortably seated over 40 people. We had a dj, everyone danced and had a great time. The food and service was perfect the owner Robert was so helpful, always made himself available when I had a question or concern. The wedding turned out even better than I expected because everyone did such a wonderful job I am so grateful for everything they did for us. 5 stars ! Thank you!!!

Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Yes, it's a little pricey but when you want fantastic food served by a wonderful server price shouldn't be on your mind. Totally worth every dollar. I have got to King George II Inn for many years and I have never been disappointed. Tonight I had friends come down from Maine and they were thrilled with their experience they had. They particularly like the old world charm of King George second in in the town of Bristol borough.

Food, drinks, service and atmosphere... All top notch. Great old historic place to eat and a great night out. The service was impeccable, drinks were perfect, food was outstanding. Great place, look forward to visiting again

Our server Thomas greeted us right away and explained all the specials and drinks they had. The food came quickly and was expertly prepared. We will definitely be going back. My braised Veal was extremely tender and flavorful. My wife's lobster roll was packed with lobster and delicious.

We wanted to try The King George Inn for my wife’s Birthday. I called and was helped by a hostess named Jacklyn who was very accommodating for our party and made sure we had a great view. Our waitress Maria was amazing, very attentive and even helped us take a photo! Then the co-owner, Bruce was walking around and greeting the guests and gave us the history of the restaurant. The food was amazing and so was the dessert. We will definitely be back this place is amazing!!!

Service, food and atmosphere all awesome. Onion soup was delicious, salads tasty, ribs yummy and eggplant done just right. I will be back again real soon, love this place… ❤❤

We had Thanksgiving dinner at the King George Inn. The place was packed, but the staff kept customers happy; seated promptly, wonderful service, great food...both owners took the time to stop by our table. Our server Denise was exceptional. My mother is hard to please but Denise was able to do the impossible and my mother actually enjoyed the day. We have been here on other occasions, but it has never been this busy and they handled it with ease.
