Del Rancho Motel

The rooms here are very large and comfortable.plenty of storage for clothing and or food. you can pick from all types of rooms like a single room to a room with separate bedroom, front room / kitchen , and large bathroom. . The rooms are all really clean and fresh.. On top of that the owners/management there are the best of people.very warm and genuinely friendly to their guest. They have a gentle, pleasant way of getting to know the guest there. I watched the owner outside shooting baskets with some kids , even invited me and my friend to share some Indian cuisine prepared by his family, which was totally a treat of epic proportions. I still go there often and we feel like old friends and welcomed warmly everytime. The rates are really competitive for Portland a few bucks cheaper than most low priced chains and definitely more bang for buck when putting the large but modern rooms with excellent management and fun surroundings of the area. Definitely my first choice of places to stay..

Recently homeless, needing a decent cheap place for my children and I to crash at.... So I picked this place. Its actually pretty great! Seriously the owner is amazing and the people who work here are very sweet caring people. Yea, the location isn't the best, but its very well taken care of. The rooms make it feel like a nice studio... So all in all great place!

Great service great price only thing is I would pack your own towels an toiletries other then that you can't beat the price for quality anywhere in this area of town!

Good. The cheapest and best place to stay in Portland. Cartlandia is across the street, an epic selection of food trucks with incredible food. Very accessible to everything which is on one huge street. This was the absolute cheapest place to stay we could find. And it was excellent for us and our trip.

Excellent customer service, and they make you feel welcome. Room was recently remodeled, spacious, bed was big and comfortable. I would absolutely come back!

I have mental problems from severe abuse in my life and the family here care and community about me and not want to lock me up for it or judge me as crazy but allow me into there neighborhood welcomed and that I am a part of there neighborhood to and they make me feel safe when a boulder gets in the way of moving forward and that causes much excessive anxiety and pain for that scary boulder to be there and so scared of it its overwhelming to pass it and it be okay its just a boulder to overcome it wont kill me but it feels like it will at the time it drops into my road and everyone accepts me and even gives me advice on how to overcome this scary monster boulder thats not such a monster but my life has been filled with monsters scary scary ones fot a long time and the boulder is just a boulder and no reason to be so scared to death of it and make it as all the boulders are monsters and all people are not monsters to hurt me even though its been many monsters in my life i learning with there patience and understanding that its not such a bad place full of monsters but full of good people who actually want to help me and I feel safe here and that i am okay and not garbage to throw away or lock up here.

The rooms are so much better then before they are alot cleaner and nicer. They are very friendly and it's way more quite then it use to be years ago. They cleaned up real nice.

Nice big rooms fairly quite area for the two times I've stayed here one of those stays where over two weeks house keeping staff is nice and playful with my preschool age kids they have worked hard to remodel the rooms I looked into 3 other rooms to rent in a motel and they all where put to shame in comparison to del rancho for the price and convenient location they worked with me on payment times and are a very nice family trying their best to re vamp this place the effort showes

We paid 65 dollars: cheapest place in Portland and probably one of the best choices we made. It used to be run down, now it's a lot better. It's walking distance from Cartlandia, a food heaven and a huge long road that has everything on it.

Staff worked with us when no one else would. Hotels were nice, huge beds and nice facilities. Overall a really great place.

Affordable price and clean sanitized rooms. Stayed while homeless and they took care of us and worked with our budget. Also friendly staff!

The owner allowed me and my daughter to stay here even though I didn't have all the money for the week.

Easy quiet atmosphere. The front desk clerk was very polite and made everything easy .I definitely would stay there again.

Room is huge for the price. Has 2 queen sized beds, flat screen TV, and free cable.
