I love the way it looks like an old time hardware store and yet at the same time you can purchase so many things you need now a I days. I like they are always willing to help you. Oh yes, they make keys while you wait.

Friendly people and quick and precise key service. They had just about anything we might need for our new apartment. Nice store.

I'll tell you a great thing about this place is that they have absolutely everything it is hardware store pricing but when I tell you they go the extra mile they really put it out there Mike the gorilla is extremely helpful in the aisles and the owners will bend over backwards and stick their arms in their socks for you

A small neighborhood hardware store that may not have a football field sized business, but have staff who actually KNOW what they are talking about when asked questions about products by not so "mister fix it" people like me. If they don't have what you need, the staff tells you....instead of trying to sell you the wrong product like many big name chain stores do.

Additionally, being a neighborhood store, they are familiar with neighborhood homes, from skylight screens to 70 year old door lock replacements. One of the few such businesses left. And yes, it has been my experience that they appreciate our military, veterans and first responders like the big chain stores do.

I live a block away from the store and having something like this so close is absolutely invaluable. Every time we do a project we always forget to buy something at Home Depot and Penn Hardware comes to the rescue. They have a huge selection of stuff and have specialty things your run of the mill Home Depot doesn’t carry. They also repair window screens and do a fantastic job!!!!! Definitely a neighborhood gem.

Owner repaired my door screen. Had it repaired there in July but even just the wind blew screen out of the frame. This time, he wanted to charge me $30 to re repair the screen, however, humanity called and the gentleman didn't charge me! An awesome place for local products and keeps me away from Home Depot!

You don’t have to waste time looking for someone to help. The owner of this store is always helpful and very knowledgeable. They will spend time explaining what would work best.

Yesterday was my first time in the store and I'm not a handy type of woman so I asked for help and they were great at finding me what I needed. Great price, great service. I will definitely return if I need anything else.

Love this store! They almost always have what I need, and their prices are very reasonable. If I'm not sure how to do something, they always have clear instructions and advice on how to fix whatever I have that is broken.

They are very friendly and extremely helpful and know exactly what you are looking for when you ask someone there. It takes ten minutes to find someone to help you at Home Depot or Lowe's and when you do they tell you that is not my department and they are not sure what you need, so support your local hardware store and go to Penn Hardware!!

No problems for me what so ever needed my window fixed they fixed it. Even explained what it was.and then today i bought paint came home and two colors didnt come out roght i called the store spoke to owner tokd me i can come back in and any one i dont like there exchange it for free. Thank u penn

One of the few stores in Mayfair that pretty much stayed as it was In the 70s. It's still a good store. Tuff parking but the people make it worth going. I think in the 70s there was also a hardware store on the block of Walgreen but they closed.

Great service! I needed to make a replacement key for my broken key. None of the big hardware stores couldn't do it. This store was able to make a replacement in less than 5 mins.

The service is excellent, they have a lot more product than you would think in a small hardware store. The guys that worked back counter are very helpful and courteous

All the bad comments about this place is false, Penn Hardware is were you can get reliable service from wholesome people. If you swing by there ask for Zahir and he'll help you out. Also say Hi to Jim, they get the job done.
