Burlington Riverfront Promenade

I love taking long walks by the river. I walk an average of 3 miles a day. Nice scenery. I love the sound of the water and the cool breeze on my face.

Love coming here for daily walks all times of the day. Its beautiful. There are family functions that happen here for the community, food trucks on certain days. Nice for a peaceful walk or picnic on a blanket in the grassy fields. Also watch the boats go by and sports teams playing.

This has been a place of memories for all of my kids since they were little. Very nice place to walk around especially on a nice day and see the Delaware. We have gotten all of our kids pictures next to the iconic eagle statue!

Really nice day even though it was quite breezy. Very peaceful. I remember going there a lot with my grandparents when I was young. The place has changed with the addition of new waterfront condos, but still very nice place to just sit back and relax or take a stroll.

The promenade is a unique feature of Burlington City - a paved path that runs a little more than a mile from the Burlington-Bristol Bridge to the Assiscunk creek at the other end of town.
It is a great place to walk, or to bring the kids to run around.

This is a nice place to walk along the river in downtown Burlington. It is a paved sidewalk that runs a little over a mile. It starts at one end just underneath the Burlington-Bristol bridge and ends by the boat ramp and basketball courts.
Some features along the route are community fields, workout stations, playground, basketball courts and beautiful river views. The area is kept very clean.
I like to park in the business park just south. There is a walking path that leads from the complex to the waterfront trail. It's a nice 3 mile walk/run.
On the summertime you can see people taking their sailboats out.

Finally completed, they were working on it and now u can walk/run/scooter/bike thru. Great place to catch the sunset.
