Ontario Street Comics

We have been coming here for many years. We enjoy all the special occasions like Batman Day, Free Comic Book Day, etc but our whole family always finds other items to buy during our visits as well. The store is cavernous and has comics for the whole family. My husband loves new releases while I like to search through the vintage titles.

Great prices. Got a great deal on a batman who laughs set. Large store. Good selection of super hero figures, not so much in the horror department like neca figure or anything, but still a great store for comics and hero figures.

Have been a customer of OSC for close to 20 years and I love everything about the place! Cap, has numerous comic related events throughout the year and it gives the vibes of a more intimate comic convention. If you are looking for a great local comic shop I could not recommend OSC enough...Oh and parts of the film Unbreakable and Mr. Glass was filmed here!

It was a cool experience a lot of stuff to look at bought some long box for my comics they take debit or cash but they'll open kind of late 10:00 a.m. but they close late 9:00 p.m.

I went here for the first time and it was worth the trip! I love how big the place is, the vast amounts of products from comics, figures, trading cards, supplies to keep trading cards and comics safe, and more. They even had a small section of manga which I thought was pretty neat. I only came here for Yugioh cards, but I spent quite a bit of time exploring because there’s so much to look through. It’s a bit overwhelming with how packed all the products are, but I think it’s a fitting aesthetic and a fun way to discover things. The guy behind the counter of the trading cards was super helpful, nice, and efficient. This is definitely going to become my new favorite place.

My only comic shop I go to. My wife, friends and family come here for all our nerdy needs. I've personally have been coming here since I was a teenager and don't see me going anywhere else.

They livestream new releases on Tuesdays and we all tune in to reserve our copies.

“In a world…” where most comic stores have comics as afterthoughts with most square footage given over to RPGs, figurines, card games the like, Ontario Street comics is the Holy Grail. It looks like a comic warehouse exploded in there, and like 90s Scrooge McDuck you too can swim through the riches therein. I saw there was no discernible organization system, which I’m actually okay with, and just asked for assistance which was quickly rendered and with positive results—mid-90s (Marvel) War Machine. Their pricing is spot on (for what I picked up anyway). You could spend a full weekend in there scavenging for treasures. It is not in the best part of Philly, actually very scary deserted road/intersection, but like any big city try going in the full light of day and be cautious and you should be fine. Time has stood still here, it’s the good ol’ days of comic shops in Philadelphia, so treat yourself and pay them a visit.

Ontario Street Comics is easily the best Comic book shop in the Philadelphia area. A huge selection of back issues, collectable toys and other pop culture paraphernalia.

It's one of the best comic book stores in this city go and spend your money it's a great place everybody that works there is always friendly and helpful and they will always have what you want if you don't see it just ass and they will get it for you it's a great comic pool store to go to

Great store and great staff. They go above and beyond to help their customers. Prices are awesome. A big plus is every book is bagged and boarded. Plus the store does pre-orders, so collectors never miss an issue. Excellent selection of not only comics and collectibles but also supplies.

Ontario Street comics feels like the last great comic shop unpolluted by funko pops. This place has a real comic shop vibe that you don’t get anywhere, not to mention customer service that is unparalleled. About two months ago, I asked about a fairly obscure comic coming out. I returned and within a minute of being there, the guy behind the counter not only remembered what I asked for but had it already bagged up and ready for me literally within a minute of seeing me enter. This place is the absolute best, I would give more stars if I could.

Got stuck in the rain with my dog and that was the closest dry spot. We appreciate your coverage 😂

Ontario Street Comics has been my favorite place to go for comics and collectables. The owner William The Captain of OSC is an amazing person and a legend among the community. I bought my 1st pack of pokemon cards here when I was a kid. Also the movies Unbreakable and Glass were filmed at this iconic location.

Hidden gem of a shop! While the area isn’t great I’ve never had problems driving there. Amazing selection of comics, memorabilia, figurines, and cards. I stop by for MtG boosters and it’s always a great experience. Definitely recommend a stop by. It’s like stepping back in time in some ways!

Been going here since a kid. Over 20 years. Service is really good. You will feel like a kid in a candy store. It's everything you need to feel like a grown kid. Love it.
