OC Taco

Stop reading and just go on in, the food is great and the people are awesome. The only possible downside could be waiting to get a seat because so many people like the food. My group all enjoyed their food and time. You have to find a street parking spot or during the day pay for parking in the parking lot on the other side of the road. We will be going back and I can't stop thinking about how good the churros are.

Food is absolutely delicious. I love the made from scratch Caesar dressing.

We get the empanadas every time and they also heat up great the next day.

Staff is always kind and helpful. I love the bartender Zara and the kitchen staff is also super friendly.

Tacos are tasty and happy hour cocktails $8-10. Very nice!
Zara is an amazing server. Overall a great experience. I’ll def be returning.

Great tacos and bowls, unique in style found only here with a sauce selection to die for. The staff hustle and space has a semi open feel to it. What ever you do, try the fish with green sauce.

Amazing tacos in downtown Oregon City. Great food and service, and don't miss out on the yummy El Jefe margaritas too. Large open space which probably seats about 50 people. Can get crowded, so reservations are suggested.

Just tried this place for the 1st time. Wow! The Barbacoa taco was very good. The meat was extremely tender, moist and flavorful. But the Pescado (cod) tacos were incredible! (And only $4 each!) Margaritas were not bad either. In addition to the great food, the place has the feel of a restaurant in Cabo. It is warm out, so the overhead door/wall was open for an open air feel. But even the decor and setting made me feel like I was in Cabo. So we very much enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon!!

Had Cochinita pibil and Pescado tacos. Both very enjoyable. Busy tonigh and seemed a bit understaffed, but Zara was hustling and provided great service. 👍

This place is among the best for tacos and Mexican eats in the entire NW. Their other restaurant was in downtown Portland, Taqueria Nuevo (T9 for short) and was essentially the same menu and quality. I was a big fan of T9 and hadn’t even realized they were associated or had another restaurant until T9 was closing, the manager let us know about OC Taco, and boy am I thankful for that! OC taco has a great building and has a cozy and clean interior with lots of seating and a nice size bar. The food is simply outstanding. It’s like street tacos but elevated to a higher level of quality. Right off the bat, guacamole creamy and zesty and chips are crunchy. The meats are cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection. They have the normal fare of carne asada and carnitas, but then they have beef brisket, barbacoa, cochanita pibil, fish tacos etc. the ceviche is among the best and most fresh tasting I’ve ever had in the pnw. The chicanes are large and freshly made. Everything about this place oozes quality. The staff are very polite and friendly. All said, I can’t recommend OC Taco enough. I challenge anyone to eat here and not enjoy at least one thing. I will be a regular here and will sing the praises to everyone I know. Great job OC Taco!

OC Taco has amazing tacos! Best gourmet tacos outside of Portland and the space is bright and airy. Great margaritas as well and the staff is always super nice. Make sure to get their guacamole!

Fun and creative selection of tacos. My fiance loves the meat preparations and I appreciate the veggie options. Always perfectly seasoned and nice sized portions.

Tried 7 different kinds of tacos. I ate them 2 hours after I picked up. Amazing!! Tons and tons of meat!!!! I was so full after 1 taco. My husband was full after 2-3. Guacamole totally lasted and tasted great. Will totally get OC Taco delivered again. The wild boar was my favorite.

Ordered 6 different tacos, the empanadas, chips and guacamole and tried all 4 of their homemade salsas... every single dish was delicious. You can tell it is all homemade with the freshest and most delicious ingredients. The staff was helpful and friendly and the facility is impeccably clean. Great overall experience. Maybe next time I'll try the margaritas!

Amazing! We tried 5 different kinds of tacos and we were pleasantly surprised with them all. The empanada was fabulous too. Every taco was loaded with meat! Very good, tender juicy meat. Lots of flavor. Definitely best tacos in town and that we may have ever had 😋 I only snapped one picture after I took a bite haha

I order three tacos, the carne asda, the carnitas, and the pollo. All of them came plated in a beautiful manner. The medium salsa left a pleasant heat in my mouth as I was walking back to my car. The rice was a nice treat between tacos. The staff were attentive and kind. Will definitely be coming back again and bring friends.

Best tacos I've had in the Portland area, no contest. All the meats were cooked to perfection, barbacoa beef falls apart in your mouth; chicken, fish, carne asada, all meats that can tend to be overcooked elsewhere are tender and cooked to perfection here. If you are a taco officianado, you should put this place on your list. Homemade tortillas and hot sauces compliment the meats nicely, great overall presentation and experience, they are doing things right, no shortcuts.

It’s a rare occasion when you get the trifecta of amazing service, incredible consistent food, and an inviting ambiance anytime of year. Right now the wind is blowing through the open garage door. Simply perfect.
There hasn’t been a dish or taco that I’ve been disappointed with.

Happy Hour at OC Taco! The food is tasty, traditionally prepared with a refreshing twist. The Cochinita Pibil taco is made of up of a generous amount of seasoned (very tender) pork garnished with red pickled onion for a ‘lil pizazz and a great flavor addition.
The carnitas taco…ta die for! 💁‍♀ Prices for such good quality food are very affordable- especially happy hour. All in all great little spot which we plan to visit again and again. Hours are spotty so plan accordingly. WE WILL BE BACK…. 😘

Love this place! Amazing food but their service deserves 10 stars. Went in and ordered food to go. Got home and realized a couple of items were missing. Tried calling but they were super busy for a Saturday night so just left a voicemail. On Monday I realized I had a private message on social media. Brent had reached out to me before I had even realized the items were missing that Saturday night! He apologized and had already credited the items that were missing. Blown away by their amazing customer service!
