Loved this place!
Great spot with live music, great drinks, tasty food, and wonderful service!

Had some mermaid water, shrimp and grits, and crab dip. All were incredible!

My mother got the fish special and wow was that the star of the show. Would come again!

As the name says this place in right on the bay! It's pretty beautiful! I could imagine this place is never not busy. They have a sand bar outside and 2 more bars inside. Plenty of dining room and bathrooms. We got there and the place was packed, they said it would be about 20mins wait, and we were taken back in 8mins. Everyone looked like they were happy and having a good time. And the food you ask? It's spot on! Everything we got was very delicious and well worth it! If I could only say one thing about their food it's that they know exactly how to cook a salmon crunchy and juicy, and the taste was immaculate! Stop by of you are ever in the area looking for a perfect time

Beautiful ocean view and super yummy food. Had the tuna poke appetizer (fantastic), Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (my teenager loved it), and the Lobster roll (tasty). The lobster roll was chopped lobster and not huge chunks, but it had great flavor and the portion was incredibly huge. Very filling. The Cape May oysters are AMAZING, and so is the house sauce they make for it! Do that for sure when you come!

Harpoons on the Bay has enlarged the outdoor dining area, additional bar and built an very clean outdoor restroom building. There is a parking lot in the back and street parking. We enjoyed an early mid-week dinner and were not disappointed! The seating was about 50% full at 4:00 on a Wednesday. The food was very good which included the Roasted crab dip starter and the 10 oz. Ground beef cheese burger with fries. Everything was delicious, hot and fresh. Our server, Larissa, was awesome and provided outstanding service! I love visiting Harpoons when I’m in town. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Got the salmon and it was probably the best salmon I've ever had! Not a huge chunk which I really liked. The portions weren't super crazy big which I prefer since I feel like sometimes restaurants over-do it sometimes.
Was told we had to wait about 20-25 minutes but really only waited about 15 which was great!
Super crowded, but it was the weekend so I'm not surprised. 10/10 recommend

I have been going here for over 12 years. It's grown a lot those years. Great, fun atmosphere, views of the bay. The best sunsets, coupled with good food, and good selection of beer and alcohol. The onion rings are superb.

My husband and I wanted a quick bite to eat before hopping on the ferry to head back to DE. Harpoon's is just a few minute drive from the dock so we decided to give it a try. We started with a bowl of New England clam chowda and it was hands down the best I've ever had! Next we had the crab cake dinner, served with fries and asparagus- this meal hit the spot. A couple cocktails rounded out the meal and we left full and satisfied and happy with our decision to dine here. Our server, too, was so nice and took care of us quickly so we could make it on time to catch the boat. Great job to all the staff- we will definitely be coming back!

Fun bar with beautiful views of the sunset. Live music was great. Outside bar was a lot of fun great service.

We’ve been going to harpoons for so many years and finally they have a bartender with a great personality great and welcoming demeanor his name is Scott. My wife and I will be back and bring the rest of the family. Great addition to your service family!

Celebrated a birthday here. Great service, excellent food. Cocktails were really good.

Long wait but worth it for the view and great food. If you can get the deck around sunset your are in for a treat. Tried the shrimp wontons and onionrings both very good. Right across from the bay, so there is somewhere to go if you are left waiting a while, cornhole sack toss game for the family near the waiting area and a full bar for drinks while you wait. Chairs that face the bay to relax in as well.

This place has grown to include a raw bar and area with bar and seating out back. We had to wait some time for seating to eat but had no trouble getting drinks to watch the sunset.

Great food! Good atmosphere with live music, reasonably priced. Long wait for a table. Server was very attentive and food was served hot and delicious. They don't take reservations so expect to sit and wait about an hour during dinner time for a table to open up. Take my advice and try to time the sunset. I visited in early september and arrived at 5:30pm, seated by 6:20pm and was done with dinner and watching the sun set on the bay by 7:30pm.. beautiful!

Feels like you're both inside and out with the open walls! Food is delicious and service is top notch. Music every night, I believe. We've been several times recently and heard some great covers we could sing along to while enjoying the yummy drinks from the bar. If you like fruity, the shark bite is where it's at!

Nicr place, great food. Had fish of the day anf it was delicious. Wife had the scallops and they were delicious. Son had short rib sandwich and loved it. Decent beer on tap and some nicely named drinks on the menu. The view from the beach across the street was gorgeous!

As always, the service and food were great. During this visit, we sat at the bar and had some appetizers and beers. The steamed clams and fried shrimp were delish. Very tasty.

For a place loaded with tourists, the food was surprisingly good. Great views if you could get a table with a water view.

Had a great time here eating with a party of 8 including one 8 yr old. The food was very good, the only complaint being the steamed shrimp were not served hot (not sure if that was by design or not). Highly recommend the fish and chips, onion rings, and oysters.

The atmosphere was fantastic being outside and on the water just before sunset was perfect. Service was very good.

Delicious crab cakes and great drinks !! Burgers are huge and delicious too !! Wonderful friendly staff and bartenders !! Our new favorite !! Definitely a gem !! The views of the bay just add to a great experience !!

I got the fish and chips and it was pretty good. They had live music going for a bit but then turned the eagles game on later. They have a parking lot but there is also street parking available. This place was pretty busy when I went, but still I had no issues with parking. It overlooks the water and they have an area with stools to watch the sunset.
