Nationwide Property & Appraisal Services (NPAS)

I have been doing appraisals for NPAS for many years and have never had a bad experience! Competent staff, and they pay fairly and quickly. One of the best AMC's that I have worked for!

I have been a Certified Residential Appraiser since 2000 and have been working as a panel Appraiser with Nationwide for over 10 years. I have obviously worked with countless AMC's in that time, some good and some bad, and some of which have come and gone. I can honestly say that Nationwide is the absolute best. They are just so professional, so very courteous, so very friendly and so in touch with both the how and the what of the whole appraisal process that they are simply a joy to work for. Not only do they communicate wonderfully with their Appraisers, but they treat their Appraisers wonderfully as well.

The entire staff is simply the best, from Rachel Sandora (at the top) and Nicole Shorter and just about everyone else at any level really. Having worked with the Nationwide for many years I can say that many of the staff I originally started working with were Account Executives or lower (and as Nationwide tends to promote from within) and are now in both management and executive positions, which shows you that the company rewards and values both hard work and relationships above all. It also means that as an Appraiser working with them that not only are you treated in that same fantastic way, but that the people in the executive and management positions are intimately familiar with the trials and tribulations faced by the staff (and the appraisers that they are working with) below them, understand any issues that anyone might be facing, and always go the extra mile for everyone involved.

In fact, as an independent Appraiser whom had worked with the company for years I already knew all of this to be true, but as an Appraiser whom had actually left the industry for a few years to literally care for an ailing mother (I won't say how many years but more than enough to be forgotten) and as an Appraiser that not only was not forgotten when coming back, but remembered and greeted warmly (due to the fact that people and human relationships and hard work are valued by every level in their organization) I not only know all of this to be true, but am also just so very appreciative it's true.

Absolutely best AMC to do work with, for OR through in all aspects. For sure.

The negative reviews are mis-leading. This is an appraisal Mgt. Company and not the appraiser that did the actual work. I am an appraiser that works independently for this company for the past 6 years and I have always been treated professionally and have developed an excellent relationship with this company. I am grateful for this company and the work that they provide for me. There are other AMC's in this country that do not treat the appraisers the way Nationwide Property & Appraisal Services treats their appraisers. I have nothing but high regards for this AMC and I look forward to keep providing my services for them.

I've been working with AMCs since 2009, and whittled them down to 4, with NPAS at the top. They've been a great client understanding the appraisal process, and agreeing to appropriate fees. Most AMCs don't understand either. Communication, another important variable in the process, is always timely and clear. Their personalities are great too, starting with Rachel Sandora at the top, to Oliver Yasey, to Nina Stout (always so much fun to hear from).

Nationwide is the best AMC in the industry in 2023. They send orders and trust you will handle it for a fair fee. No bidding... Nationwide is a company that trusts their appraisers and in turn I trust Nationwide. I appreciate the trust they have in me.

All these bad reviews. Timing, pricing, value issues have nothing to do with the AMC. Many states have very long turn around time for appraising properties and fees are set based on appraiser and availability. I do not work for this company but I have worked with them several times in the past. They have always been high speed. Alot of bad reviews are based on people not getting what they want when they want it or value not being where you think it should be. The mortgage process is not cheap or quick including appraisals! How awful for this company!
