We have had an excellent experience with First Choice. I live in Washington DC and my parents were out of the country and we called First Choice since the heater was not working. Alex was our technician and communicated on his arrival time. He met a family member at the house and was very professional. Alex was very knowledgeable and very honest about the issue. He explained everything over the phone of what was going on. I would highly recommend if you can get Alex as your service technician it will be well worth it from the excellent customer service I received. Hard to trust someone from far away but First Choice will be my go to place for my parents. Thank you!

Matthew Martin call and gave me estimate . I lived in this home for 40 some years and not one plumber said I need my sink to be vented, water would not drain, no blockage j. He put in a vent under the sink, replaced pipe and fix my problem which I had for years . He was polite , and left everything neat. I am so happy I found a good company and happy to have found a great plumber.
I would highly recommend first choice .I feel the company is fair and honest.i have delt with other plumbers over the years and they do not even have the courtesy to return their calls.

I usually don't write reviews but I am compelled to write this one. In 2022 we had a heating and cooling unit installed by First Choice. They were punctually, courteous, and most of all skilled at installing our unit. Whenever we had a question or concern, they promptly provided us with answers and exemplary service. We have a new issue with our water heater and the first company that we called was First Choice. In this world were people and companies are not reliable, it is a welcome gift to have First Choice in our corner.

Contacted this company and they sent a worker to assess the problem. Zack was punctual and not only very nice but very reassuring. He even took the time to teach me a little about my hvac system after he completed the work. As a new homeowner there’s so much to learn so I really appreciated him taking the time to explain things to me .

I am a new customer to First Choice. My previous company closed down so I was directed to First Choice through his phone number. I was skeptical at first with this procedure but my mind changed. Customer service Rep Vanessa was very nice and explained how they acquired my old contractors phone number. I was still a bit leary worrying about the technician and being taken advantage of. That quickly changed as soon as I met Alex the service technician. He was very polite, pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. We had a conversation about how much he loved this type of work and working for First Choice. Alex had me watch from the moment he touched the furnace to the moment he diagnosed the problem and made sure I witnessed it, explained how the furnace ignites and knew the exact cause and remediation. I have no concerns anymore with my doubts about First Choice. Alex is an asset to this company and they should be proud to have him on their team.

I used First Choice for number of services in different occasions. I never worked with more organized and customers service oriented plumbing and heating company. Ryan and Laura from the office are TOP people to work with and Bruno one of the technicians is a true professional and a gentleman. Sorry I don’t remember the other guys names but we had a great experience with whom ever came out for any task. Thank you 🙏

I hired this business for an heating issue. Alex was our technician. He listened and then let me know what he will investigate and why. I was never in the dark through the whole process. I felt the pricing was very fair and also felt comfortable that i was not being swindled as i usually do with contractors.
This is why i will hire this company again for maintenance or cooling issues. Thanks Alex!

I've been using First Choice ever since I've purchased this house because they came highly recommended by the previous owner. So far, I have not been disappointed. My service technician, as always was punctual and courteous. Angel Garica was the technician and I peppered him with questions I had with the HVAC and other issues with appliances in the basement, and he patiently spent time answering them and offered very helpful advice that will definitely save me money. I can't recommend them enough.

Very happy with service. My initial call was returned promptly and a convenient appointment was made. Matt the plumber was knowledgeable, professional and personable. He explained everything to me and made arrangements to return the next day with a needed part to finish the job. He returned as promised and completed the job quckly and neatly. Would highly recommend!

I was extremely happy with First Choice Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning. The plumber, Matt, was extremely efficient, honest and polite. And if I could have given him ten stars I would have. I first became acquainted with First Choice Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning by flagging down their service truck while walking my dog. A very nice gentleman gave me their business card. When I realized I need a plumber to replace a sump pump and pipes, shortly after this encounter, I called them. Matt was sent the next day, examined what I requested and gave me a very fair price. I was so impressed with him, that I called the office to be sure he was the one they would send to me to do the repairs. Work completed today, with a warranty! Judy Schwartz

This is my second review on First Choice, and I usually do not do reviews...but for these guys, I have to.
They simply went OVER and ABOVE to help me with an issue I had that was not due to their installation, but rather I would like to call it "poor engineering / quality control" of the manufacturer of the Furnace.

We were not overwhelmed with technical jargon. He explained the problem and questions were welcomed.

November 23, 2023: Angel Garcia is the most dedicated, hardworking, and kindest technician I've ever worked with. There were several issues that came up after addressing the initial problem related to our boiler (which probably shouldn't be a surprise since there were some old parts in there). Despite these challenges, especially on a holiday weekend, he stuck with it and did excellent work. He went above and beyond to help solve the problems that came up and I could not be more complimentary about his problem-solving and professionalism. He even came back later that night to check up on things after he had to step out for a family matter--he was obsessive (in a good way) to make sure everything was working properly. FirstChoice is very reliable and they were quick to help me with my issue. Any company should be judged by the people who work there (and stay there). I'd have trouble imagining someone who would do a better job representing a company than Angel does. Just a fantastic employee.

One Year ago: Amando and Augustin were very professional, took time to explain what they were doing, wore masks upon request. Took their time to do the job right. Would highly recommend.

Alex Gonzalez, the technician, arrived promptly and isolated the issue with my system immediately. He went above and beyond with his troubleshooting and explained the process as he went along. First Choice is lucky to have this professional on their roster of technicians. Thank you Alex!

My furnace pilot light kept going out I called First choice and they had immediate appointments so I booked with them. Angel came and was really fast because I had to go pick up my nephew from pre-k . He showed me what was wrong, explained everything and was very thorough. He did a great job fixed the problem for me and now the house is warm. He was on time, respectful, and overall was a good experience with him & the company.

I just had a Central Air Conditioning system replaced. Joe from sales explained what he thought our needs were after the old system we had for 36 years gave up. The advice was appreciated and helpful in making our decision. His experience and professionalism were obvious. Jeff and his crew were fantastic installers. I’ve worked for a major public utility for 40+ years and never seen a crew work this hard and care about their craftsmanship. My new ductwork and central air installation is a work of art. Unfortunately at this point I only had the system for less than a week so I can’t fully comment on the Rheem system quality and value but I expect great things after research and will follow-up with another review after we used it a while. I will ask First Choice to come back for annual servicing and re balance the system as needed after we use it for a while. We are waiting for the 90 degree days for a true full test of the system but I expect great things after the beautiful installation. I looked at 3 contractors before I found First Choice. This team is very professional and does great work.

Can’t say enough about how professional these guys are. Great customer service on the phone, timely in their estimates as to when the technician will arrive, and the guys who do the jobs are extremely professional and do a great job of educating you on what the problem is and why it needs to be corrected. They’ve earned my loyalty over several services now.

From the very beginning the first tech named Jerod he explained the issue with my old furnace and how it should really be operating Then the Techs Armando and Jean arrived one time very efficient polite as well as knowledgeable about the old furnace they removed and the new one they installed. They kept the area neat and in order. The tech that delivered the furnace was pleasant and polite as well. The cost was reasonable
