My entire experience at this store was fantastic. Mark refurbished my vintage Kenmore sewing machine, and it is running like new, all for a very reasonable price. When I picked it up, Mark demonstrated a couple of tips to keep my machine running well, and included a written copy of the information in the box with my machine. Talk about going the extra mile! The whole team is friendly and professional. Quotes for repairs are free, they will help you get your machine to and from your car (so nice when it's as heavy as mine is!). Highly recommend!

Mark is really friendly, very knowledgeable and genuine. I initially came in for repair on a sewing machine and ultimately ended up purchasing a brand new Babylock. I'm happy to take my business to this shop and look forward to working with them in the future when my new machine needs maintenance.

I brought my Bernina 830 Record in for a diagnostic test. The team quickly gave me prices & choices as to repairs. I was accommodated by the owner who came out to the street to bring the machine in for me. In 1 week it was ready for pick up. After paying, they brought it out to my car. My vintage Bernina is running like a dream!

I will update my review after my machine gets serviced but this place already has 5 stars! They are the only place I’ve found that doesn’t charge to look at my machine. Every place I’ve called charges an astronomical (we are talking $100’s) fee to just look at it let alone repair it. It’s great that they take a look. Lets you know what’s wrong and give you a qoute to fix it. Then you get to decide!

Nothing but positive things to say about this place. A great experience from my initial phone call, to dropping off my old sewing machine for repair, thru to picking it up again. It is now working great, purring like a kitten, and no longer jams up every few minutes. Very knowledgeable staff made me feel comfortable, kept me informed throughout the entire process, communicated well, properly set all expectations, and didn't proceed with any repair or adjustments until we had first discussed and agreed to all costs involved... which were very reasonable. They even gave me a few helpful tips for using my machine while I was there. I find it's rare nowadays to find a business that is truly professional, has that type of attention to detail, and takes as much pride in their work as this place does. Finding that was a refreshing experience.

I am so very happy I brought my sewing machine to Mark. Within hours of dropping, it off, I had a quote and explanation of what needed to be repaired. Mark was so very friendly & professional. Called before going and was given detailed instructions to make my stop as easy as possible. Received a detailed repair quote by email the next day. Great follow through.

Mark Ott has such a great business. They fix just about any vacuum cleaner or sewing machine that is causing you chaos. Very honest and fair pricing also. They also sell sewing machines and vacuum cleaners.

I went in on Tuesday afternoon at 3 pm. I had three items that needed service. I was greeted warmly and my issues were detailed and I was given an explanation of how the three items would be addressed. First, i have two vacuum cleaners that are not working properly. I was surprised when I did not need to leave a deposit. I was even more surprised when they explained how I will get an estimate first… Later that night I received an email about the sewing machine that needed a cord and foot pedal. A detailed choice to get new ( with pricing and timeline ) or used ( also with pricing and the ability to pick up on Thursday) was offered. I am so happy with the service and professionalism. Honestly, I feel like family. They have won my business.

Once again, the folks at Collingswood Sew and Vac have come through for me eith flying colors. My Babylock sewing machine was acting up and needed service, and it was done in a couple of days, right before Christmas. Lucky to have them nearby. I trust them completely.

Collingswood Sew and Vacuum is an excellent store and Mark was beyond helpful. I have purchased 3 machines from this store over the last 20 years and every experience has been top notch. My most recent purchase was a combination embroidery machine and Mark was very helpful every step of the way. He answered all of my questions and replied to emails very quickly. I highly recommend this store for all of your sewing machine needs. You get excellent service by very knowledgeable people. They also service machines and are available to help if you need it. I won't go anywhere else.

Mark was wonderful to deal with when I reached out to him to purchase the new Baby Lock Euphoria. He answered all of my emails promptly and I was able to purchase the machine and accessories over the phone and receive it 2 days later (it would have been next day if not for a UPS issue). Great service, quick response, Collingswood Sew and Vac has it all! I have used them for many years to service my very old Viking sewing machine. I purchased a new machine from them about 2 years ago.
Even during 2020 I received quick responses to my questions. Their curbside pick up/drop off is fast and efficient. Highly recommend!!

This is a fantastic business! All the staff are excellent -- professional, clear communicators. Very good prices and speedy communications by email and phone. Highly recommend! They sell new items (I bought a display model Miele vacuum for an excellent price) but more important, especially for people who care about conservation, they are expert at repairing machines that can last for decades.

I was in the middle of a sewing project that had to be done by Christmas and my machine jammed.
I called the store and they said bring it in they would look at it. Mark told me to call the next day and he would have a quote ready, which he did and told me he could have it ready the next week. It was not even a full week when they called and said it was ready. I picked it up that same day and finished the project on time
The service of Mark and his staff was exceptional! And the price extremely fair.

After my own research and then speaking with Mark at Collingswood Sew and Vacuum, the Baby Lock Brilliant sewing machine was recommended by him for my sewing needs and price range. And I picked it up that afternoon! No on-line ordering, waiting, and shipping costs for me! It was a pleasure to work with this shop!

I was researching online for a new vacuum cleaner and my search brought me to this store. I knew I wanted a Miele and sent an email to the store on a Saturday night with a few questions, not expecting an answer until at least Monday. Mark responded within minutes - late on a Saturday night - and answered all of my questions and provided great info. After a few days of more questions and research, I was at the store the following Wednesday to pick up my new vacuum. Mark's customer service was outstanding throughout the whole process, and he offered a sale price that was at least $125 lower than a dozen other prices listed online. I can't recommend this store enough. You will not be disappointed.
