I am in love with my hair! Jen did a terrific job with my hair extensions! She was so wonderful and made me feel so special. I will never go anywhere else. Also thank you Pasquale and Claudine for making me feel so welcome. Very professional and attentive. Everyone in the salon was so friendly and outgoing. I highly recommend this place

Jen is so sweet and does such a great job! I can trust her completely to give me a great cut/ frame that lasts for months and grows out nicely.

I've had problems at other salons because they cut my hair as if it's always worn pin straight, so when I wash it at home it dries frizzy and/ or with 'layers' out of a nightmare.

I don't have to wonder what my hair is going to look like after I wash it for the first time at home when I go here! Jen actually listens, knows how to treat my hair and gives really great advice/ ideas for the cut. It comes out looking better than ever! I never have any idea what I'm doing when it comes to styling terminology, but she explains it well.

At the front desk, Pasquale is always very friendly and helpful. Claudine is also great!

I was greeted with a warm welcome and offered a freshly brewed coffee. The staff I met were extremely pleasant.
My stylist, Alyssa, was super sweet. She took the time to learn about me and my hair wants and habits. She was very thorough to get information to help her give me the right care for my hair.
I was very pleased with the color and trim she provided.
To those who love fur babies, this salon has a precious little one roaming around. I enjoyed having my color processed while having the little pup relaxing in my lap.

I really loved my experience at Bijou.
They start with letting you do a free consult to get an idea of what you want and how much time it will take and what it should cost.
I was able to easily book with my stylist, Laura. She walked me through the entire process, asked what I wanted and then asked what I feel like I could maintain. She really respected the fact that I’ve never dyed my hair and I wanted to look fairly natural but a little more enhanced and also not have to dye it every 4 weeks.
Laura booked me for my cut and dye a few days later. I showed up and she walked me through finding the correct colors and the entire process. She was so fun to chat with and let me ask a ton of questions.
Actually the entire staff talked with me while I sat and waited for the dye to finish and they were doing their jobs.

Laura made sure I got to keep my natural color prevalent but still have a little more “dimension”.

Also Claudine the owner is the nicest human.

I literally want my hair to grow out so I can go back and hang out with everyone.

Today was my first time at Bijou. I am blown away at how great my hair turned out. Laura is a miracle worker! I went from about 5 different shades of blonde and brown to platinum. All of the staff is friendly and personable. They make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. I highly recommend this salon if you're looking to go blonde.

I got a cute haircut from Jen. The style was just how I wanted it. She is an excellent stylist. The salon has a young and trendy atmosphere, reasonable prices.

I never leave reviews for places and especially never think to when the services are above and beyond, but at Bijou every time you walk in the door you are treated like family. Everyone is so welcoming, makes sure you are taken care of, and you rarely wait once you arrive. The salon is run so well and by such nice people that you want to come back!!
The stylist I work with is Kenzie and every time I go, I get a balayage done. Kenzie has done such an incredible job on my hair and it ends up looking even better than the picture idea I show at the beginning on my appointment. She makes sure that you know exactly what she is working on and that you are happy with the service throughout the entire appointment. Even going to the salon just a couple times a year, the owners, my stylist, and even other employees know you by name and remember things that you talked about months prior. You are not just another customer to them, but someone that they value and want to be happy! Overall, I cannot say enough positive things about this business and the people who work at it, so I highly recommend!! The easiest 5 star rating!!

Alyssa is a hair wizard - sweet, attentive, and just super talented. I have very difficult hair to work with (coarse, thick, jet black hair) and Alyssa managed to give me the hair I’ve been wanting for months and was so enthusiastic to jump in. Will definitely be coming back for toning and haircuts in the future! Aside from Alyssa, the entire staff is wonderful from the moment you walk through the door to second you walk back out. I didn't think trendy and unpretentious salons existed outside the city. I'm so glad I found this place via instagram and came in for a consultation. After finding a weird highlight after getting my hair done elsewhere... I needed A LOT of repair with discoloration, damage, and literal bands of color underneath the surface of my hair. Tara explained the process and I've been faithful to her and this place ever since. My naturally curly hair (which is prone to dryness and breaking) is healthy, shiny, and responds to styling with ease. The color is perfectly customized to me that my grey hair blurs in naturally. Never did I think I would learn to love the greys naturally occurring in my hairline since I was 17. I get compliments all the time on the color and cut. Overall, it's just refreshing to know I can come into this place and feel relaxed in the environment these ladies (and one brave gentleman :)) create and be confident my hair is going to look amazing. XO

I cannot rave enough about bijou- the environment, the services, the stylists are all amazing. I will never trust another salon with my hair (I mean never.) Laura has always nailed my hair- whether it’s going dark or a beautiful balayage she’s incredible. The environment is welcoming, incredibly friendly & you feel like a part of the family as soon as you walk in the door. ❤

Today I had the best haircut of my entire life. Claudine gave my curls new life with a Ouidad cut. I'm honestly amazed by how wonderful my hair looks! Claudine was warm and kind. She listened to my "hair story" and really made me feel cared for. She is an absolute professional and knows exactly what she's doing. I'm so impressed by the professionalism of everyone I encountered at the salon. I will definitely return!

I just had my first appointment with Alyssa and I'm in love! She gave me a fresh new cut with beautiful color/balayage. She listened to what I wanted and made some great suggestions. I would highly recommend this salon and Alyssa's services! The compliments keep pouring in!

Full disclosure here... I am a Hispanic and Black 30 something woman who spent most of her 20s damaging her hair. Once I matured, I realized I didn't have the kind of hair anyone could play with. Around 27, I got a clue and cut it all off and started fresh and let it all grow back naturally, becoming very selective and only seeing "black" stylists, people who looked like me, so I knew they understood the assignment.

The years passed, I moved, life changed, and I needed a new salon. My friend told me to go to Bijou, and honestly, I was like, "girl can they do my hair cause you know...." And she goes, "well, just call," so I did.

First off, I call, and Pasquel (owner) answers, and he's very polite and careful in responding to my questions which I appreciated. He listened, and I was comfortable immediately. He scheduled my consult with Claudine (owner), and she walked me through some things. There was no bs; she was very professional, the shop was clean, free coffee, etc... She was very open with her experience with my kind of hair, and I trusted she knew exactly what she was doing. 2 weeks later, when I finally could get a spot causes, she was busy (and boy, can she multitask!) I was so happy with the results.

I got many services done, and I didn't feel they over-charged me. Claudine told me during my consult what the price was, two weeks later, that's what the price was. They didn't try and sell me extra stuff while I was there. It was an extremely comfortable experience, and the staff was amiable. So let's talk about that.

As a businesswoman, no matter how good a product is, if the service sucks, ill never go back. Politely, I'll tip because I believe in Karma, but I'm not going to continue to go to a place with poor service no matter how good the "food" is. No thanks. But I'm glad to say if I had an excuse to go to this place monthly, I would. Cassie, the apprentice, was equally as fantastic as Claudine. She added to my customer experience. She rocked the hell out of a blow dryer! Not only could Cassie blow-dry and provide excellent support to Claudine, she provided great conversation the entire time with me (the customer), allowing 4 hours to feel like 2.

I'd recommend this salon over and over again and can't wait to go back!

I was scrambling to find a place after moving and not having a salon for the first time in my life. I had an appointment with Laura and she was so friendly and did a great job with my hair and listened to me about what I wanted. The hair washing stations were actually comfortable. The place is super clean and they are following all safety precautions. Lastly there is the cutest little dog there that’s a mascot/service puppy and I’m in love with her. I can’t wait to go back here and get a super short cut in a few months.

First the salon: friendly staff, impeccably clean, great lay down chairs for hair washing so no neck pain!
The cut: I went to Claudine who is amazing! She is the curly hair expert and it shows. Spent time getting to know me and my hair and practically read my mind on what i was looking for. Love the cut, definitely will be a loyal customer

Absolutely amazing! From the minute I walked in the door for my for my appointment I felt welcomed by the staff and completely comfortable they are all so friendly. I have curly hair and finding a new hairdresser and style is nerve wracking. I met with Hannah who did a thorough consultation of my curls and daily routine and then gave me the best haircut ever. She took the time to walk me through the products and how to apply them to replicate the look.

I’ve been looking for over 5 years for a good salon in Mercer county and I finally found it! My first impression was through their website (very transparent on pricing), the Instagram photos, and then a friend told me to go see Laura. The owner was also really helpful via Instagram messenger to help me figure out which stylist to see before booking my appt. I have thin straight hair that never seems to look great. But Laura gave me an awesome cut with some cute bangs and highlights. She is highly specialized in both cuts and color. I definitely recommend this salon if you’re looking for experienced stylists. So happy I found this place!

The business is fantastic. Pascal and Claudine run a flawless, clean establishment. Jen is awesome.

The team at Bijou squeezed me in last minute and took such good care of me. Kenzi listened to what I wanted and pulled out the iPad to help find visuals. I love how the stylists consult with each other and talk through ideas to create a true work of art with your hair. My icy cool blonde balayage babylights are absolutely perfect!
