We stumbled across this place and it was an amazing surprise! Started off with delicious margaritas, then a huge helping of handmade guacamole with thick fresh made chips. Their carnitas tacos were bursting with ingredients AND flavor (and they're only $3 on Tuesdays!!!). Also shared the cubano and it was equally amazing! Seriously check this place out.

Before I opened my own restaurant I frequented this place regularly, because I love the food. I have lived in many regions of South America and the Caribbean, and I was always impressed with the chef's take on classic dishes, but more importantly his fusion of different traditions in the region to create something new and phenomenal. Service has always been a little spotty (responding to other reviews) - but give them a break. This is not a big money financed place but a family living their dreams on a shoestring and great culinary talent.

If you want something different to the big boxes, something where the love of the taste bud comes out in every dish, try Pasion Latin Fusion.

By far the best food I've had in Albuquerque. Innovative, fresh, different, and creative, I'm surprised this place doesn't have lines out front. Any other city and it would. I think if they did better advertising, were open longer hours and on Sunday, and hired more of a waitstaff it would really help. There were only 3 other full tables when I went, and one server, plus a lonely Spanish guitar player. I like the eclectic vibe of the place, but I don't know if it's doing much for the more conventional diner. Go support this place, you won't be disappointed!

The food is creative and fresh. The owner has a passion for the food he serves and it shows in his dishes. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable and will explain any dish on the menu. My favorite is the fish tacos. Unbelievably delious!

I've been twice and have found it great both times. Elvis, the cook, was willing to bend over backwards because I told him I liked something he didn't have available at the time. Very relaxed atmoshpere with live music.

Tempura fried green Chile on a cheeseburger is brilliant! Happy hour tapas are a great way to substitute for an entree and get to try many great flavours. Their bacon wrapped plantains on an agrodulce pecan puree was so well balanced. The parmesan battered artichokes were elevated from good to amazing with the saffron aioli.

Then we tried the avocado panna cotta. It had the perfect consistency, with a slight wobble. The understated the saltiness of the Oreo crumb and understated sweetness would have made this almost a savory dish were it not for the passion fruit syrup, which brings the dish into perfect balance with its intense sweetness and tartness. Just beautiful.

Try this place!
