I recently had to have repairs on my car. After having 2 mechanics that use to work on my car retired I was at a lost to find a new auto repair shop!
But fortunately I found Charlie's Complete Auto Service and I'm glad I did!
They were able to give me an appointment right away. Before any work would be done they gave my husband and I a complete estimate of what work would be needed. They worked with us pointing out repairs that are needed immediately and others that we will have repaired later.
Before I knew it my car was ready to be picked up and no surprises on the bill!
I believe I have found a new mechanic for all of our car repairs .

Got stuck with a stalled car on Saturday night and first thing Monday morning Charlie’s had a tow truck come over the bridge to pick her up. (my warranty place is closed on Sundays 😜) Quick, communicative, and friendly tow truck driver got my car back across the bridge quickly and safely. Upon pick up, I had some unexpected charges from my warranty company, and the issue was supposed to be fixed months ago by another repair shop. The gentlemen inside the shop took care of it in seconds. They were all very friendly and did their best to cheer me up, as I’ve had a lot going on lately and the car situation really threw me for a loop. I appreciate them getting me in last minute with a jam-packed lot, and even more for taking care of the expense with my warranty company for me. (Now I know why it’s packed!) Thank you for making this tough situation a little easier, and for fixing my baby up!!

Recently visited Charlies for maintenance of my Toyota vehicle after years of returning to a dealership for service. After being stunned by a quoted price at the dealership for a brake repair, I decided to find a certified local mechanic. I found the staff at Charlies personable, friendly, knowledgeable and I believe totally honest with me, and I will be using them for service my car going forward. And by the way, the dealership was attempting to charge me about 400.00 more than the brake replacement actually cost. Friendly, reliable, and quick service. I’ve never had any issues bringing my car here and they’re very communicative. I really appreciate their transparency about what issues your car is having and how much it’ll cost to fix them; they even included pictures in the reports I’ve gotten. I wouldn’t want to bring my car elsewhere at this point.

My son car broke down at school and needed his vehicle towed. I chose Charlie's not knowing anything about them. When speaking to Kylie he was very professional and friendly. It took me a couple of days to make a final decision on repair. They was very understanding knowing it was costly. Charlie's gave me a diagnostic report on what was wrong with my vehicle. While I was deciding Charlie contacted me as well and spoke to me. Again very professional and friendly. I have not met them in person but feel like I have known them. I'm positive we will be back even if it is just an oil change.

We have been coming here a long time and will not go anywhere else. Kyle is the man! The service is always great and the work is fantastic. They always take time to explain things and make you feel comfortable. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommend anyone to bring their vehicle here.

Very helpful service center. I stopped by randomly In need of a ball joint sleeve being pressed off a lower control arm. They took the control arm right away and pressed it off without hesitation. Great customer service and willing to help me out immediately when I was in need. I would recommend Charlie's complete Auto service.

I have a small business in the area of Charlies. I take 3 of my trucks to Charlies and the workmanship and service is nothing less than excellent. The prices are good as well as the backing they provide for work done. They had done work on our F350 which included replacing an exhaust manifold. I had a problem several weeks later with the manifold gasket leaking. I called and Charlie said to bring it right over. 1st thing the next morning the replacement was done with no questions. This was the only issue I have ever had with work performed by them. It is a rare thing to find a company with this kind of care for their customers needs. I will be a long time customer.

This review is well passed due! Charlie and everyone who works there had so much respect towards me and my car. From the moment I got into the shop I was treated like family. Charlie went out of his way to show me his shop and the problems with my vehicle and what he and his mechanics/son fixed for me. They took every step to make sure my vehicle was back to running normal and of course no short cuts! The shop even gave me free t shirt and notebook for taking the extra time to look at my car to make sure he and everyone was 100 percent satisfied before it left the shop! I needed to get my inspection done to that month and he noticed I needed it and got that done for me to!

Not only will I be a returning customer when I have car troubles, I will recommend this shop to everyone I know. Not many shops care and really actually CARE like Charlie and everyone who works there. I really appreciate this shop!

Charlie the very personable and professional owner came out, introduced himself to me and answered all my questions. He's so friendly and knowledgeable.
I'm going to definitely going to recommend him to all my family members and friends for their auto repairs, inspection needs.

First of all, the lady I spoke with over the phone was so kind and friendly! I had taken my Infiniti g37 to get my steering wheel alignment checked and it was not pricey at all! On top of that, they were able to identify a few other issues in my car that I didn’t even know of nor requested to be checked. I am thankful that they did that for me! They provided an inspection list that outlined the issues within my car that was sent to my phone via text which was simple to understand and they explained each issue to me thoroughly over the phone as well! Fantastic service and would recommend to anyone looking for car work!

Charlie was helpful, honest, KIND and did a great job with my car! I did NOT feel like I was being taken advantage of at all, as some women unfortunately can be in the car/mechanic industry. Would definitely recommend especially if you are a female who does not know much about cars! Lol Will definitely be my new go to guy :)

Charlie’s is the best place to take your car! They are so helpful and don’t try to scam you for more money. They genuinely care about their customers. I have happily been a customer since 2019!!

Charlie’s does great, detailed work. This is a solid business; not the friendliest, but that’s just Charlie getting down to business. Great, solid service you can trust. I have an ol’ rusted 03 Escalade with 330k on the dash. Charlie performed a (almost $200) inspection on the vehicle, and came back with a report so detailed, that it justified the price paid. I ended up going back to fix all the leaks (trans case, trans, engine, differential) once I had enough money to do so. A few days later I took it to the Valvoline for an oil change, and they told me the underneath looked as if no repairs were done, and advised I go back. After leaving the car at Charlie’s overnight, they completely cleaned the underneath of the vehicle and confirmed all work was done correctly; it was just dirty. When I took it back to the Valvoline, they completely changed their tune, telling me from what they see, high quality work was done to the underside, and they expect the car to run for a long time. Although they tried to charge $90 for double checking the leaks, the overall experience was a positive one. Thank you Charlie, I will be back!!!!!

I never knew about Charlie’s until it was listed as a recommendation by AAA when my vehicle needed a place to be towed for repairs. I took a chance since it was close by and I am extremely happy that I did. Very professional and fully explains any problems found and recommendations with photos! Great service and very quick. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

My granddaughter’s car broke down and wouldn’t start even when jumped. I no longer live in SNJ and needed to find a competent and honest mechanic. Based on reviews I called Charlie’s and had the car towed in. His reviews are well earned and accurate. The car was repaired in a timely manner and I really liked the “red, yellow, green inspection report.

Learning that your car needs a new transmission is like hearing that your house needs a new foundation, and, is infested with termites and teeming with black mold. Charlie and Kyle walked me through the process, all without pressure while presenting less costly alternatives. I ultimately decided it was best to get a new transmission and I couldn’t be happier. The price was fair, the turnaround time fast, and the service excellent. My car runs great again. I cannot recommend Charlie’s more highly.
