3rd St. Hardware Ace

This is definitely not your typical hardware store.. although it does for into the neighborhood quite well. The music is great, mostly indie rock, and the staff is very mellow. The selection is surprisingly good considering the size, and they have a lot of fun knick knacks. The prices are a little high, but that's to be expected for the neighborhood and quality.

Love that there’s a hardware store close by. Has a lot more items than I would’ve expected. The staff has always been very helpful and knowledgeable whenever I’ve needed assistance. This is my go to spot.

I'm a big fan of Ace Hardware stores, and this one is above and beyond a good one! Parking isn't great, but it's worth circling the block a couple of times because the service you get here is fantastic. They're always really helpful and they do a great job at keeping things in stock.

We're so fortunate to have this place in the neighborhood! They have an awesome selection, including some stuff at the front that could easily serve as housewarming gifts. I always come out of here with many more items than were on my list!
The staff is not only super helpful, but they are also really nice. They have taught me things when learning of my current project in a way that is informative and not condescending. Also, if they recommend something that is not currently in stock, in my experience, they have offered to order it for you.

Well stocked! Very competitive prices! Able to get everything, one needs to do a project at home and they're able to order anything through their extensive network as an Ace hardware.
for wheelchair accessibility let the associate know and they will bring out a ramp for you to roll up on,

Amazingly well-stocked for such a tiny place. Clean and well-merchandised, with friendly, helpful staff. It's fantastic if you live in the neighborhood and need some little essential.

These guys are really nice and help me find whatever oddball screws I need. I don't think it is normal to tip at a hardware store but I'm about to lol

Well organized, well lit store. The person that assisted me was very polite and knowledgeable. That was one quick and easy shopping trip on a stressful day looking for some tools to finish fixing that dam kitchen sink. Thanks a lot 3rd St. Hardware Ace! 🍻

Love it here. The owner, Steve, and staff, are always so nice and helpful. I really live their selection of trendy/ modern kitchenware and household items atreasonable prices. More recently, I've really been loving their plants! This time of year, they have a nice selection of succulents and flowering plants, herbs featured outside. Each plant is hardy and in great health. Most beautiful succulents I've bought - for sure. Great addition to Old City and certonly more that just a hardware store!

Perfect for any of my random hardware needs. Friendly staff and great selection for a smaller space really appreciate having this around the block!

Blaise and Steven(?) Went the extra mile for me tonight. I needed a specific lock with a specified shank size. Sounds weird but these guys looked online, measured, used a similar sized screw etc. All to make sure I left with what would work best.

Awesome hardware store that’s got so much more! Aside from the things you would expect to find here they also have fun and functional home wares/ giftables - lots of Kikkerland brand things that you normally find at “gift” type shops. Reasonable prices, super friendly staff, this place rocks!

Spectacular and much needed addition to Olde City. The store is so well layed out and pleasurable to browse. Everytime I am in here I get great service, reasonable prices and a wide selection of what I need. It has a friendly neighborhood vibe. Now instead of stressing when I need something, I look forward to taking a little stroll over here.

Great little spot in an area that sorely needs more than more art galleries, expensive coffee shops and boutique barbers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and for a small downtown independent hardware shop the store is well stocked.

Thought this would be some kind of old city boutique hardware shop or something when I saw it was opening, but it’s way more than that. They have a huge stock, pretty much whatever you would need, and a great selection price-wise, you don’t need to pay a premium to shop here over the big guys just because it’s downtown or because it’s locally owned. Super convenient. Very impressed!

Great local hardware store. It is something this neighborhood has needed for a long time. They have a very good supply of almost anything you need for your house apartment or condo.
