When you first walk in the restaurant you’re welcomed by Rosie she is so welcoming and so sweet! She answered all my questions and helped me with the app. The atmosphere is so comforting. The food portion is abundant enough to have leftovers which is great. Also the food tastes great and has lots of flavor. The vegan fried fish is delicious just a little too salty in my opinion, and the Mac and cheese wasn’t a creamy Mac and cheese, rice was cooked perfect and the chicken had some good pieces and some more bone than meat and the beef patty was very flavorful and had a kick. I definitely would go back again and try the other dishes.

Lawd!!! It's about damn time I found a spot with some great food in South Jersey. Rasta did not disappoint. Oxtails are tender and juice. The jerk chicken is seasoned to perfection. The beans and rice with cabbage were a one two combo. Yoooooo, y'all better check Rasta Kitchen out.

This place is a GEM it could easily be on the hit show Diners, Drive-in, and Dives. But it's not a diner, drive-in or dive it's a local spot serving the best Jamaican food prepared by high level cooks-they know what they are doing in the kitchen. I ordered oxtails, rice beans, and plantains and a curry shrimp and crab egg roll. The food is fresh, taste like it's prepared to order, the oxtails and curry shrimp and crab egg roll were next level flavorful. To keep it simple this food is good!

Devaughte was a great host and server. The food was superb and delicious. The best jerk chicken wings, cabbage, plaintains, and Curry shrimp, crab egg roll that I ever had. There homemade juice was delicious. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend!!!!!

I couldn't wait to dig in and it was not a disappointment. I couldnt even speak words after the first few bites. "Mmmmmm mmmm mmm!! 😲😍☺" is all i could say. The food is extremely delicious and flavorful. I'll have to try their other vegan dishes! I had the Vegan Fried Chicken with plantains and Vegan Sweet Chilli Wings with veggies.

Only thing wrong with this place is that it’s not closer to where I live. Vegan fish and vegan fried chicken were incredible - and that’s feedback from a vegan and a meat eater. The cabbage was mouthwatering- the flavor out of this world. The service was wonderful - friendly and so helpful and enthusiastic. The place is small and there are only a few stools so plan to take out vs dine in. Do not skip this place! We can’t wait to go back.

I've gotten dinner from here multiple times and each time the food has been amazing. In addition the service is top notch and the staff are very kind and appreciative. I can't recommend this place enough. I'm a vegetarian and still haven't tried all of the options. Great vegan options as well!

Great food, great people, great portions! On a road trip with my boyfriend and got the vegan oxtail and vegan fried chicken, plus some homemade juice (delicious, and so pretty!).
We were offered sauces to try (both great, but the jerk sauce was the clear champion).

Food was so good that it’s all we talked about as we drove on to our next stop.

This place is incredible! The food is crazy good and the portions are huge! Vegans - this is a spot not to miss!!! The Oyster Mushrooms Fried Chicken is next level!!!!!! New favorite for sure!

I was in town from Arizona and I had no other spots to get authentic vegan food. I am so glad I found this place! I had the vegan fried chicken platter it was amazing! All the food we got was very good! Customer service was amazing. When I come back to Jersey I will definitely be stopping by again.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The service was top-notch, and the young lady up front was super friendly. Her welcoming attitude added a delightful touch to our visit. The food is 10/10. Definitely deserving of a 5-star review!

Yummy! There aren't a lot of vegetarian choices in the area, so I appreciate this place. I got the vegan oxtail and it was bomb. It was jack fruit based and well seasoned. I would have liked it spicier, but the deep.flsvor was on point. The portion was crazy for the price, I'm having leftovers tomorrow! The dish came with sides of rice, beans, and cabbage. So filling. And gotta say, Jah would never give the power to a bald head. Power to the hair!

Rasta pasta was incredible. Perfect amount of spice and seasoning. Happy happy drink was an interesting but I couldn’t stop sipping it. Great food and really nice owner. Can’t recommend it enough

Rasta Kitchen is consistently, delicious, carefully prepared Jamaican cuisine and serves very healthy portions for an affordable price.
Devaunte and Rosey are an essential part of what makes this restaurant so special. They both are always so pleasant, attentive, helpful and friendly. Their kindness, charm, and never ceasing effort to accommodate the customer, coupled with the delicious food carefully prepared by them, makes this restaurant a uniquely enjoyable experience. It's always a pleasure to see them and to take home such incredible food.

Good is great, portion size is great, good service. I can't wait to go back. I referred a friend and she went and loved it too. I can't believe they have been there for 5 years

I ordered Oxtails, Mac & Cheese, Cabbage. Food was nice and fresh, hot, and I enjoyed every bite. Fresh healthy made juices with Ginger, I order the Happy Happy!!! This place is in the perfect location!

October update, I ordered Jerk Wings and some Corn!! I had a taste for corn and again, yummy💯‼

Let me tell you!! I ordered oxtail and the food was incredible!!! They really know what they’re doing and the people are so hard working and you can tell they’re genuine. Highly recommend it. The oxtail is definitely worth it 👌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I was going to my local cleaners in Sicklerville when I ran into Kevin and Rose from Rasta Kitchen and they were selling platters out of their car from a heated steam box, and passing out flyers with a smile now, that's a hustle I can respect!

But, to my surprise, the vegetarian food and beverages were all that to me-very healthy choices, and um mmm um the choices were many and it all looked and smelled phenomenal. I have to say, Kevin's knowledge of vegetarian food, and natural herbs and spices had me interested in wanting to taste the food because #1 I couldn't find this type of cuisine at a restaurant nowhere near me that was healthy and tastes so good!

I was very impressed by their pleasant & humble attitudes and down-to-earth vibe. I purchased two vegetarian oxtail platters, with rice & peas & Cabbage, plaintain, and vegan fried chicken with two healthy juices, it meant I wouldn't have to cook dinner, and I was serving my family something healthy, and OMG....the two platters were hefty enough for 4 people and the vegan fried chicken is a must taste. I told a few people already that I know and how I found gem with Rasta Kitchen, and I will be dining in at Rasta Kitchen very soon to try more healthy, menu flavors.

Mac and cheese and oxtail are so good. I’ve gotten the Mac and cheese catered for holidays and it’s a hit with everyone. Best Jamaican food in the area easily

Stopped in off of a Facebook review for vegan eats. Went w my gf and she had the vegan brown stew and I had big eyes and ordered a side of oxtails and the jerk chicken platter. Portions were huge and the food was outstanding. Stew was loaded with mushrooms! Oxtails melted in my mouth. Chicken was tender and juicy. Traditional cabbage and rice and peas on the side to complete a perfect meal. And the service was also amazing! Thanks Rosie!!
