Great customer service. Great repair I came in for brakes, rotors, headlight and an electrical issue. Not only were all the repairs completed when other mechanics didn't or couldn't. They did it in same day under four hours at a great price. I highly recommend this shop!

A locally owned (not a chain) real old fashioned feel of an automotive repair shop. Heather, who works the front desk is so helpful, patient, and caring. She definitely sets the positive tone for the whole experience! She called us with updates about what work was needed or not feasibility for our SUV. The mechanics even sent us pictures of the broken parts. They left no stone unturned. I highly recommend Voorhees Auto Repair Shop for all your car needs.

It’s not cheap but they do a thorough job! Being new to the area, it was a bit overwhelming looking for a new mechanic when I had been used to going to the same ones when I was still living in North Jersey; luckily I found this place to get my brakes serviced and now they feel great. They also let me know that I did not need a tire rod replacement despite being told by another mechanic that I did need one, so I appreciate their honesty. Heather was very kind and helpful as well.

My family and I have been taking our cars to Voorhees Auto Repair for over 20 years. They have continually provided exceptional service and great prices. You never get any double talk or confusing sales pitches for unnecessary service, they are always straight forward and honest. The work is always done well and delivered on time. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Heather is always helpful on the phone and with scheduling. The owner Rich is generous with his time and willing to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. I've had cars in for small things where Rich didn't even charge me! I've had one of those chain auto stores that offers free diagnostics of electrical problems try to sell me a new alternator saying mine was ruined (I suspected the battery). I declined and got it to Rich and he correctly diagnosed the battery as the problem, and saved me a couple hundred bucks. When shopping for a used car, I brought 4 potential vehicles in to have them looked over by Voorhees Auto. Rich steered me away from 3 poor choices and the one he recommended that I eventually purchased, has given me 5 problem free years, only needing general maintenance like oil changes and tires. That kind of honesty in business is rare these days, and when you find it you stick with it. I would never take my vehicle anywhere else and neither does my family or friends.

Long Story: I got a flat tire on Saturday, 1/8 and changed over to the spare to get home. I had plans that night, so I didn't have time to take my tire to a shop to get it fixed. On Sunday noon, 1/9, I dropped my tire off at the local Mavis Discount Tires - big mistake. They have high reviews and are tire specialists, so I expected decent service. I waited a day and a half to have my tire plugged by Mavis. They lied to me twice over the phone, telling me my tire was ready. When I went in to pick up my tire today, they apologized and asked me to give them a little more time, so I agreed. After sitting in their waiting area for 1.5 hours this afternoon, I found out they haven't even started working on my tire. I asked them to give me my tire back and sped off. I immediately started looking for alternative places and called a few.
I called Voorhees Auto Repair and they told me they don't normally fix flat tires, but after hearing my horror story, they agreed to help me out. They were very professional and friendly. I waited no more than 15 minutes for my tire to be plugged. The price was very fair, I would have likely paid a lot more at Mavis. They installed the tire back onto the car for me free of charge.
After having my day ruined by Mavis, these guys really brightened it. I thanked them for their help, got back into my car and noticed a sheet of paper underneath my feet. They placed the sheet of paper over my floor mat to prevent it from getting dirty. I have never been happier about the auto service I was provided. I will definitely be back. Ditch the auto service franchises and come here. These guys are awesome!

These guys are awesome. They charge half the labor cost than most mechanics I’ve been too. They were able to get my car fixed before lunch and I spent 1/4 of what PepBoys estimated me at. I am certainly going to be bringing my car back for some additional work and bring my wife’s car their too for some repairs. With this place, you get compassion, honesty, fair pricing and efficiency. I’m not going to bother looking anywhere else.

Outstanding customer service! I was told by another company that it would take days to received the part needed to repair my vehicle not to mention the time it would take to repair it. I'am so glad that I decided to look elsewhere and found this company. Heather was so informative and answered all of my questions, I received my vehicle back in two days (if not for the weekend it would've been sooner). I’ve lived in multiple states, in many cities and towns, this is the best auto-repair shop I have ever come across. I have always owned older cars which has earned me many visits to all types of repair shops. I have learned to spot mechanics who aren’t ideal because their work is inconsistent with their promises or prices. Voorhees Auto Repair is everything I expect a legitimate repair shop to be. They are honest, they answer all my questions and I never find myself having to come back for the same problem once they have worked on it. They aren’t perfect but they also don’t pretend to be. They are transparent and well organized when it comes to pricing. They aren’t trying to profit off of their customers ignorance to auto repairs the way some auto-repair shops are. Their work speaks for itself and they are essential to the community they serve. I would never take my cars anywhere else.

The mechanics are not only reasonable, but they're honest too. I would recommend making an appointment. I also can say that it's obvious they take pride in what they do and they back their work up if you have an issue with the work that was done. I never have, but they'll also explain the work they do as well. They always make time. They work with warranty companies and tow to the shop.

Great service that made a difficult situation an easy one. I live over 100 miles away and my daughter had a breakdown coming home from South Carolina. I was referred to Voorhees Auto to handle the tow and repair. My daughter was able to get a ride home but took the keys with her. I was able to FedEx the keys on Monday, the car was picked up and diagnosed on Tues, Wednesday was July 4th and I received a call on Thursday morning telling me my car was fixed for the same amount that I was quoted. She picked up the car that day and life went back to normal. Thank you to Heather and staff for making my already stressful life a little less stressful.
