I just moved to Philly a month ago and was looking for picture nails, a hammer, and a wrench. The owner asked me what I was looking for and I didn’t know specifics, so told him what I was using the tools for and he got me everything I needed! I believe he only takes cash or venmo but that wasn’t a problem for me. Support local!

I can’t speak to his hardware store - just to his locksmith business. My man answered the phone at 8pm on a Sunday,and came immediately at 8am the next morning (fresh off an AM Serbia World Cup 3-3 draw too). Solved the issue and reasonable. He and his wife serve up some solid dishes at their Balkan Restaurant too.

One of those little hardware stores that seem tiny but have everything. Owners are nice, will stop to chat, and will find anything you need if they don’t have it already. They also make key copies, and they say they also do minor repairs (of thing you take in, such as a lamp).

Has everything.....

Most of the merchandise looks like it has been sitting on the shelf for 15+ years...literally feels like the back of someone's old shed. Probably a fine place for nuts and bolts, but for anything not made of literal steel or aluminum, I wouldn't count on finding it here in good shape.

Your hours here are wrong, you may want to consider fixing them.

Convenient for sure but found the man there quite rude and stuff is pretty overpriced.

Overcharged for a piece of dirty plastic tubing. I'm guessing the guy didn't know I used to work at a hardware store (I don't look like someone who would). It clearly wasnt a mistake as he saw and measured the tubing, cut it, then asked for 4 dollars cash.

Expensive

Way overpriced and man working there rude and nasty.
