Mack's Pizza of Stone Harbor

We have been coming to Mack’s for years! They have the perfect pizza! Crust is extremely thin and has both a nice crunch and satisfying chew. There is a proper ratio of sauce to cheese, and the sauce has a both and savory flavor. Our whole family loves it and it is such a wonderful treat! We had it multiple times this summer and already looking forward to next season😊❤

Pizza shop competition is fierce. There are pizza shops in every big city and every small town. Some are good, some are bad. Now imagine a pizza shop that is using the same recipe for 70 years. Well now you found it. Simply the Best Jersey style pizza you will ever have.

We were headed home from the shore and drove by this place and decided to stop and get a pizza. We ordered and it was delivered to our car. It was hot and delicious!

Best pizza on the island - better than all avalon options. Meets out too high New York pizza standards. Always pleased with Macks!!!

Go For The Breakfast
We went to Mack’s early one day (9:30am) and were told they were only serving breakfast. The food has always been great with quick and attentive service. However, their new breakfast pizza was phenomenal. They also had cinnamon twist bites which our kids loved. Do yourself a favor, skip the other spot’s overrated, generic breakfast sandwich or the always overpriced pancake places and try one of Mack’s delicious breakfast pies instead. As a bonus, the coffee they service is some of the best on the island and blows whatever swill they’re serving at your hotel out of the water.

We had heard of Mack’s before we went to Avalon and were looking forward to trying it, especially our kids. When we got there, they were unexpectedly closed to the public because they were about to host a wedding reception. When they saw our kids were disappointed they graciously made a spot for us in the restaurant despite being super busy prepping for the reception that was due to begin in less than an hour. This made our kids day! The cook gave our kids some pizza dough to play with. The staff were super nice and served us quickly. On top of all this the pizza and the Caesar salad were awesome.

Would highly recommend and we will be back every time we are in Avalon.

Some of the best pizza i have ever had

Six of us stopped for dinner and all agreed, Mack’s pizza is amazing!! Being honest, pizza places generally disappoint me. However, Mack’s is a casual place with great/friendly staff and fabulous pizza! The pizza had great sauce, crispy/yummy crust and lots of toppings making a perfect combination. We got the Tram Car (pepperoni, sausage and meatball) for the meat eaters and a Sunburn (sun dried tomato’s, mushrooms and extra cheese) for the vegetarians. I’m a meat eater but had to say that both were GREAT!! End of the day, I highly recommend and must assume the few bad reviews were from competitors that are unable to keep up with Mack’s VERY high standards.

Mack’s pizza always satisfies me because the size of the pizza is perfect and the per portions are perfect. It has the perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and and your topping. Mack’s has very good service, after ordering on the phone the wait is only 10 minutes. I will be headed back to Mack’s soon.

Pizza came out quick and was so delicious. You can also order by the slice. Was skeptical about jersey pizza being good since iam from new york but it was great. We even came back a second time. Waitresses were friendly and attentive. We love macks!

The pizza was hot and good. The service was excellent. We drove over an hour to get it and it did not disappoint. There is ohtdoor seating but it was cool and windy the day we went so that will be for another time. The staff is so nice and the place is very clean. Very comfortable experience. Will definitely be going back and would definitely recommend if you want great pizza

First time at Mack’s, Stone Harbor and loved it! Had a chance to try different pizzas: pepperoni, sausage, cheese, and others. All great! Full of flavor, crisp crust—just delicious. A family run business with a long and interesting history; they know pizza!

Hands down the best pizza East AND West of the Mississippi River. Each pie hand-crafted to perfection leaving you wanting more! Wildwood style is my personal favorite, although the Boardwalk not far behind.

Have loved Mack's for years, crust, cheese, sauce, toppings. Restaurant is super casual, great for young families hungry for good pizza.

A little overpriced, bring cash. Almost always super busy, get in, get out, staff seem a little stressed. Strange order system "time is your numer".

All worth it for the pie!

My family and I came here to try a new pizza place this summer on our annual trip to the shore. This place blew me away. As avid pizza enthusiasts, I was honestly upset that my family had not found this place sooner. The family owned business gives every customer a welcoming embrace as soon as they step foot inside the establishment. The customer service is not only over the top regardless of their capacity, but also entertaining and lively. This restaurant offers a great atmosphere for the whole family to enjoy. I would recommend to anyone in the area looking for great pizza!

We’ve been coming to Stone Harbor from Philadelphia for the past 5 years and our neighbors recommended Mack’s. After being disappointed with other local pizza shops my family and I were thrilled to find Mack’s! Wonderful plain cheese and pepperoni pizza!!
