Bud's Fresh Market

Honestly surprisingly well stocked, and while very costly, you’ll find organic and at least semi sustainable options here- which was a pleasant surprise.

I’ve seen much worse options in much larger stores. From chips to fruit to milks and alt-milks and all sorts of things between — definitely plenty of the big industrial brands, which is what most people likely want to see - but enough of the smaller and high quality brands that you’ll probably be able to get what you need. VERY limited options for high quality bread and meat though, so be aware of that. Only industrial options there.

Sun bum seems to have some sort of monopoly on sunscreen, which is interesting. Not super sustainable there.

Last note, like I mentioned: PRICING. Just out of control 200%+ markups on some items. That’s a little wild, even for a nice place in a nice area. Chill with the markups. Good stock for the most part but it’s not cool to gouge on the pricing.

Well stocked with everything we needed for a week at the shore. It is not cheap but it is better than driving to some big dirty supermarket. Our favorite was the deli counter that made the BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICHES!

We got food here a couple of different times, breakfast sandwiches and then hoagies another day while down here for vacation. They did get some details wrong about the hoagies we got for lunch but when I called them back, Hailey took full charge at rectifying the situation and said they would come our breakfast tomorrow for the mistake. What more can you ask for? Great local business that has great food and obviously dedicated to making sure their customers are happy over everything. Thank you Hailey & Buds.

Great place to pick up last minute items.

They had Prime NY strip steaks in the case that were gorgeous and definitely USDA prime. I've been in the meat business my whole life and you don't see many steaks with that kind of marbling.

Always find unique and delicious items at Bud's Market. Always fresh produce. Today's visit resulted in a delicious arugula salad with Burrata, toasted pecans, grilled peaches, prosciutto, ovoo. Great spot for groceries.

Buds is a staple in Avalon and Stone harbor. Very convenient. Great variety of fresh foods. We always miss Buds after they close in the fall.

Excellent quality n priced accordingly BUT definitely worth it!!

Island prices, of course, but worth it. Lots of prepared foods for when you don't feel like cooking, and a great place to pick up those little items you forgot.

Has pretty much everything you want to pick up, Deli, produce, etc. Great little mini Market with friendly staff and excellent made to order sandwiches and pre-made salads.

They have most of what you need without leaving the island. Deli makes breakfast, lunch, and ready to cook items. A gem.

Great store and awesome service! Opened up 15 minutes early because I was standing outside and had so much selection to make sure I had everything I need!

Nice little store for last minute shopping at the shore. They have everything that you need for a last minute grocery store trip.
