Just like Nona’s kitchen. The Scripelle soup is outrageously delicious. Perfect. This menu item, which is a very rare find, is a cherished dish here and Fiene’s rendition is the definitive preparation. I’ve been coming here for years to reconnect with my family roots through this soup and the recipe has not changed. You will not find better. Period.
A major hit menu item was the Zuppa Inglese. This is not an Italian specialty dessert many may recognize. I’ve NEVER seen this on a menu before and I’m so glad I spotted it on the Holiday menu. Zuppa Inglese is an Italian Trifle dessert, similar in assembly to Tiramisu (which is also a menu star here). I hadn’t had this dish since the family holiday dinners of my youth. Curious how this found its way onto the menu I was informed that a matriarchal family member made this to order in advance at a the request of a good customer. A time consuming recipe to prepare but several of these were made and I was the beneficiary of a most wonderful accommodation.
The folks at Fiene’s are family. They are “family” to the restaurant and to their guests as everyone here takes an ownership attitude. You will eat well. You will be treated well, like valued family members.
I cannot say enough about the satisfaction of a Fiene’s experience.

Food was delicious best meal we all had in a long time out!. Apps to dinners to desert were all so delicious!! Service was great also. Highly recommend!!

I passed this place many times while driving and we decided to try it after seeing the reviews. The four at our table loved their entrees. The mussels appetizer was very good. It is BYOB so that is an extra value right there. Service was very attentive. The bread is made daily in house along with the desserts we were told. They were both terrific especially the nutter butter dessert which I highly recommend if you like peanut butter. The place is a converted house so it is small but comfortable. We will be going back and taking our family. Hoping to go back soon.

We have been trying to make it here for
the past two years. We finally made it today and I'm happy we did. Every good thing I heard about this establishment was true. The service, atmosphere, and food was excellent. I will definitely be making several more reservations and telling my friends and family to do the same! Thank you Mariah and Phil. F.Y.I. they are B.Y.O.B.

The food and desserts are amazing! We had a feast, multiple appetizers, we each had soup and I was able to customize my dish. Phil and the team took care of us, They are giving the place a nice refresh, the paint looks good.

The atmosphere is quaint, light, and extremely fulfilling. Many a restaurant try to impress a bit to much with wall trinkets and the like. Lightly decorated and the air filled with sinatra and aroma Here you have come to enjoy the flavors of food and conversation and you will do just that.
The food was nothing short of perfect in every way
Not only was everything fresh and well prepared it was brought in the perfect amount of time.
I cannot wait to come back and experience another mouth watering and memorable experiences this Italian fare establishment has to offer.

Valentine’s Day is always a day I like to go out with my fiancé and this was no exception. I had a place saved up on my list that has two of her favorite things, eggplant and gnocchi. I did sweat a little when we came in and didn’t see it on the menu, turns out it’s a restaurant special so I could wipe the sweat off of my forehead. We started with the mozzarella with red peppers and it was good. The red peppers were really good but what would tie it all together perfectly would be balsamic glaze and that would make it next level, delicious nonetheless. The eggplant and gnocchi my fiancée had was very good, and the colder the tomato sauce gets the more flavors come out, so save some for leftovers. My chicken masala was very good as well. My only complaint would be that there was not enough mashed potatoes compared to the amount of chicken, I was really portioning the potatoes to last. The chicken soup was really good as well. Overall service was great and food is really good. BYOB which is always awesome. Definitely recommend stopping by

Excellent service on a busy night. I had the veal special with a side of lobster ravioli. It was perfect and would highly recommend getting it.

This restaurant was amazing! My mom and I wanted to try something new for lunch and this hit the spot. The chicken noodle soup was so good!!! Best I ever had. The meals were great and they were huge portions. It was a cozy atmosphere and quiet, felt right at home. Will definitely be back.

This place is incredible. True authentic Italian food that is flavorful and fresh. The inside is so comforting and inviting. Probably the best service I have ever received as a patron EVER. Amazing people and amazing food

Outstanding food at a great price small quaint home away from home feel. Reservations not required but highly recommended on holidays and weekends. Staff always friendly efficient & helpful with suggestions/ descriptions of items on menu.

I really enjoyed this dinner. I've driven by many times & didn't realize it was a restaurant, but when I did I've been trying to come here. Finally I got my husband & 2 friends to go. The waiter was very nice & the food was fresh & tasty. One of the workers wasn't as friendly but she got the job done. I'd go back again. There's a soup here that I've never heard of or had before so I had to try it, it was good.

“Homey” in the most literal sense. Felt like eating at a nonnas welcoming home. Comfort food at its finest. The most friendly staff.

Served by Myah and Phil— super sweet and helpful. Great portions and just the most yummy home cooked food. We had the calamari and the mussels with red sauce to start. Our entrées came with chicken noodle soup like I’ve never had it before. The trio seafood pasta was really good and we added clams to it. And the New York strip was good but came out a little too well done for my liking but Phil switched it right away and it was excellent.

Overall 5/5 for experience, food and staff. Definitely coming back when I visit Jersey again.

This is such a cozy place where you can tell the owners truly care about the experience. Everything was made fresh that day and the tiramisu was delicious and authentic - the best I ever had! When I’m in the area I know where to go. Also, it was reasonably priced.

We had a wonderful time as always. Food and service were excellent. Phil took such great care of us - thank you Phil! - and we also want to thank the rest of the crew and kitchen. We love coming here and always enjoy everything!

Excellent food. Charming restaurant in a converted home. A little noisy the night we visited, but not a big deal. Also BYOB.

We really enjoy the quality of the food at this restaurant. It's always delicious, served by an excellent wait staff, at a very fair price. The atmosphere is intimate. Parking is usually very tight so go early. A must visit restaurant.
